About: I have trained my dog as a service animal from ages 14-16. He is able to do tasks such as harm prevention, getting an adult, and deep pressure therapy. He also knows basic commands such as sit, down, shake, roll over, wait, stay, and "all done" I have experience rescuing and fostering a puppy, potty training him and teaching him basic commands. I have a cat and have cat sitted for many years for neighbors. I also took care of my teachers baby bunny in 2018, as she entrusted me out of every student to take care of the bunny, Saturn. As a student currently in community college at PCC, and a future RN, I am busy with school. Thanks to PCC and modern technology however, I am able to do most of my classes online through individual learning. I am only doing one class in person (ASL), twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30-12:30. Other then that, I have no weekly commitments I have to attend, leaving me open to do anything you require me to for your fur babies! Starting in September, I am starting my CNA program which will be full-time but we can discuss the Fall term in depth once I finish my Summer schooling. If I am allowed to bring your pets to my home, I have a lovely sprawling 1,000 SQFT backyard with lots of grass and area to run in. I also have my own dog (professionally trained and not a barker) who loves other animals (including cats!) so your baby can play with him if you request it. If not, I can put him in an entirely different area so they won't interact. My neighborhood, Robinwood, is absolutely beautiful to walk around, with a public playground, trails, and a river a block away I can take your dog to if you wish! In your home, I will do what you ask me to, whether its just hanging with your dog outside, feeding them, cleaning up a bit around the house, or just dropping in to say "hi" and get some playtime in. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life! I have a medically complex cat, so I’m very experienced with giving pills and administering medications. As a pet owner myself, I understand how stressful it can feel to be away from your pet. My goal is to care for your animal with the same attention and genuine care I give my own, so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m currently a medical student at Oregon Health & Science University completing a dedicated research year, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout much of the week. Taking dogs on walks or spending time with animals has become one of my favorite ways to step away from studying, get outside, and recharge, so I’d love for your pet to join me! Since I work 3 12s a week, I can help out with your pups during the week when most people are busiest! I also have a fenced in backyard and friendly neighborhood to walk in if your doggo is hanging with me for the day!

About: Although my experience is limited and none of it is professional, I know that I will still be able to provide your pet(s) with genuine care because I am a HUGE animal lover and have spent my entire life around pets that my family and friends have had. I am someone who points out every dog I see to anyone with me at the time and will go out of my way to ask owners if I can say hello. I know that every animal is different and will have their own personalities and needs and feel very strongly about letting them warm up to me and getting to know them as best I can. I love and appreciate any opportunity to spend time and connect with animals and would be honored to help care for yours. I’m currently home from college for summer so my schedule is generally pretty flexible and I should be able to adjust to what works best for you and your pet(s). I have a backyard that will be available to your pets but it is unfortunately not fenced. However, I will be happy to to leash/monitor your pet(s) outside. Beyond this, I will generally keep pets to certain main areas of the house just so that I am able to make sure they stay safe and don’t get into anything they shouldn’t:). Any other care details will be based on your expectations and your pets needs.
