She has developed few anxiety issues during the pandemic and can be a bit reactive around other dogs, so I've been very hesitant about doggy day care in any other capacity, but Allen has listened to my concerns and been extremely careful with keeping an eye on her or introducing her to any other dog he's watching or who is using the magical little private gated dog park behind his house. He's been super helpful in correcting some of her behavior issues (like a very loud persistent bark that has made me crazy!), sends photos and updates frequently, and is very quick to communicate even in between stays. I'm so relieved my anxious dog is getting playtime and has such good care that I can trust every Tuesday, and she's making new dog friends finally. Thank you, Allen!”

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I have a very positive personality that I bring out in all work that I do. I am a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a 3 year old pup of my own—Louie. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I moved around the Portland area a bit, so I took a break from Rover, but now my life is more settled and I’m happy to take your fur-babies on walks, or drop in! I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. My most availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I pride myself in being thorough and paying attention to detail. I will follow any and all instructions that you provide. Having a dog of my own, I can supply poop bags and treats if necessary.
About: I’ve have one Doberman that my dad made sure I was apart of the their training and raising. So I pick up poop every week, wash them when they’re dirty, walk them every other day since she’s about 5-6 months old so has a lot of energy. I also take her to vet appointments and I help feed her dinner. I’m very experienced with big dogs and little ones because I have friends and family with dogs that range from chihuahuas to cane corsos/giant schnauzers/Hungarian sheepdog. I can do walks and pet-sit after school. On the weekends I can stay overnight if needed. I’m willing to adjust depending on the situation! A bunch of butt rubs and back scratches! I like to really connect with the dogs so if they prefer silence or tv that’s fine! Also feeding them on time and getting them out to use the bathroom on time helps create that trust and bond! She made sure my dog was safe and happy. He doesn't like other dogs on leash and she made sure to keep him away and took him to the park multiple times if not everyday. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone and I will be using her again! As someone that used to be a rover sitter, she really is the perfect sitter!”

“Damon has been excellent. I have a high needs older dog, Nala, that requires medication and time on the couch :). Damon ensures she is comfortable & happy. It's been hard finding rovers and boarders where she comes back confident & at ease. Every time she returns from Damon's she's happy, and she's always happy to see him. We also board our puppy Ruby, who's a polar opposite from Nala with Damon. She's always happy to see Damon & has a great time running around and playing.”

About: Hi, I’m Chelsey! Animals have been a part of my life since day one, so I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to care for them and treat them as valued family members. I believe every pet deserves personalized attention and the best care possible, and I strive to make them as happy as they make me. Whether it’s offering extra comfort to a senior pet or keeping an energetic puppy active and entertained, I take the time to adjust to each pet’s unique needs. By caring for them in the comfort of their own home, I ensure they feel secure, happy, and relaxed, maintaining their routine while you're away. As a full-time nursing student, I have classes on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays for about 6 hours each day, depending on my schedule. Outside of class, I spend time studying, but much of my coursework can be done from home, allowing me to be present and provide attentive care for pets. I carefully manage my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, exercise, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I am also available during evenings and many weekends, making it easy to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. When caring for your furry loved one, I always make sure I will give care to them just as I would with my furry loved ones.
“This is our second time boarding our doodle with Stacy for a long period (7-10 days!). She sends daily updates with photos, our dog gets so much attention and he gets to have a bunch of doggy friends to play with while he is there. We have never been worried when he is with her.
