About: I’m very comfortable with animals as I grew up taking care of our family dogs and cats and now have a Border collie of my own. I work from home full time and have plenty yard space (fully fenced) for the fur babies! My dog is friendly yet adventurous so I make sure to keep my home dog safe and my job gives me the flexibility to give them extra attention and care. Choosing to host small dogs since my dog does well with small dogs in his home Since I work from home, I am available M-F all times. If I need to step away, my house is large enough to keep your dog and my dog separate from each other for safety. I will be available most weekends as well unless I’m out of town I have a fully fenced yard and a park nearby where I can walk the dogs. My work from home job is flexible and allows me to step away as needed.

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

They have such a wonderful dynamic with their intelligent, energetic dogs, and it melts my heart to see Clara be welcomed into their pack. She comes home so happy and tired from a full day of exercise, play, affection, and relaxing among her favorite spots. Their pickup add-on is really wonderful, and Clara gets so excited when she realizes it's time to go have fun with Baz and Ruby! It is so special to see my little dog and other new friends in daycare all confidently playing together. Every daycare dog she's met with them has been an immediate friend--not always what you expect with a chihuahua away from mom and home--and that speaks to how thoughtfully Susan and Ian manage the group. “Saawan and Kangna were the best!! Our corgi is a lot to handle sometimes, being a high energy breed, with his barking, and corgi habits. And they did such a great job with him. He came home happy and tired. We loved the regular updates they sent and were so happy to see pictures always popping up while we were on our trip. We loved their communications and flexibility when we had a 5 minute delay picking up. We will sure be adding Saawan and Kangna to the top of our list for sitters.”
“We feel so comfortable leaving Charlie with Damon when we have to travel without him. Damon cares for Charlie like one of his own :) Charlie always seems so happy during his time there!”
“Our very active and high energy pup did her first overnight boarding with Mersal and everything worked out great! We had previously done daycare but was anxious about leaving her overnight but Mersal was great to work with. Mersal was quick to respond and sent many pictures and videos to update us!! “My one-year-old active dog had the best time at Abe's place. He was very communicative both about issues (she chewed through her harness, oops) and sending daily video and photo updates. I could tell that she was enjoying her time, playing well with the other dogs and hopefully learning some good adult-dog behaviors. It was hard leaving my dog for the first time with a stranger, but chatting with Abe and seeing him with his own dogs made me feel comfortable immediately. I am ready to book him again for my next vacation.”
