“Barbara is a really warm person who my dog took a shine to right away. I was very comfortable leaving my little buddy with her and it sounds like they had a great time 🙂”

“From the moment my two dogs met Peter they loved him. He is so good with doggies! The pictures he sent me showed just how happy they were with his family. They were given lots of time, affection, and fun, as well as special attention and grooming. They were with him because I was in the hospital for a medical procedure that went longer then expected. For me Peter's flexibility with my situation and the confidence he inspired made leaving my doggies in his hands in an already stressful time for me a peaceful decision. I would clearly recommend him!”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”

“So great! This was our first time boarding our dog and we were really nervous, but she seemed to have the time of her life. The photo updates really put our minds at ease, our dog is a little shy but we could tell she was totally happy and comfortable. Thank you!”

“Saawan and Kangna were the best!! Our corgi is a lot to handle sometimes, being a high energy breed, with his barking, and corgi habits. And they did such a great job with him. He came home happy and tired. We loved the regular updates they sent and were so happy to see pictures always popping up while we were on our trip. We loved their communications and flexibility when we had a 5 minute delay picking up. We will sure be adding Saawan and Kangna to the top of our list for sitters.”

“It was Choco first time staying with Katie S. She was sharing all the updates with us during the stay when appropriated. I can tell Choco is very happy ( his happy face ). Thank you for giving him such a loving and caring. We are truly appreciated your help.”

“Damon has been excellent. I have a high needs older dog, Nala, that requires medication and time on the couch :). Damon ensures she is comfortable & happy. It's been hard finding rovers and boarders where she comes back confident & at ease. Every time she returns from Damon's she's happy, and she's always happy to see him. We also board our puppy Ruby, who's a polar opposite from Nala with Damon. She's always happy to see Damon & has a great time running around and playing.”

“Ashley is so caring and thoughtful! She really went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable for my pup. You can tell how much she cares and my dog loved all the treats, toys, and big back yard. I would happily have my dog stay there again 😊”
“Jill was great! She provided lots of exercise for our young dog and sent regular pictures and updates. She was very responsive and we will not hesitate to use her next time we are out of town.”

“My dog, Cricket, had a great stay with Carol. Carol made her feel comfortable and right at home. Carol has a big fenced backyard and Cricket had so much fun wandering outside and exploring. Carol was great about sending me pictures and updates. We will have Carol board my dog again!”

“While we were on vacation for three weeks, Manisha took care of Dexter. It was evident that Manisha and her family are true dog lovers as they provided exceptional care for Dexter and treated him like one of their own. Dexter had a blast during his stay and felt right at home. We were kept up to date with regular updates and pictures throughout our trip, which provided us with peace of mind. It was wonderful to see how happy and content Dexter was in Manisha's care. Overall, this was the best dog boarding experience we have ever had. Manisha and her family went above and beyond in every way possible, and we will definitely be using her services again in the future. We highly recommend her to anyone in need of dog boarding services. Rest assured, your furry friend will be in the best hands possible”

“Ron's home is an ideal place for a dog with everything from a kind and dog-savy owner to a fenced yard and Emma-the-friendly-playmate. This was a first visit but it certainly won't be the last.”
“It was our first time boarding our dogs, one of which has separation anxiety. Mersal was amazing— very involved with the pups, taking them on walks and playing fetch. We received frequent updates/photos, allowing us to feel at ease throughout their stay. She will definitely be our go-to sitter in the future!”

“Our pooch felt very comfortable with Yvonne and Sam and their dogs. They walked her daily with their dogs and gave her lots of attention and love. They sent pictures and stories every day to keep us updated. We hope we can use them again!”

“Abe was so professional! We saw his space , and we put his dogs with my dog (on a short walk) to see if they all would get along. He told us about how he has really taken time to learn all he can about dog behavior and training throughout the last few years. So, I would recommend him as sitter. Also, he seems like a really nice guy. My dog came back happy. I think he got a lot of exercise.”

“Jami was able to make a last minute overnight booking work for us, including the meet and greet! My dog loved his time there and enjoyed playing with the other dogs. He was even tired for the next few days after we picked him up. We loved seeing photos and videos of him during his stay. Definitely will be rebooking with her! Thank you again!!”

“Thank you, Heather! Our trip was great, knowing Thor was in caring hands. Heather is a very caring and professional sitter. She kept us updated with information and photos of our pup while we were out of town. We highly recommend Heather's services.”

“She is very lovely and caring person, and she took care of our dog very well. Roseinda was sending a lot pictures of our dog and making sure he is getting well taking care. Thank you for your great service, we appreciate that!”

“Gretchen always takes great care of the kitties! This time she very thoughtfully disposed of the cats’ gifts outside so that my incoming houseguest/cat sitter would come to a fresh home.”

“Kelsey did an amazing job with my dog! I was out of town for 5 days and needed a sitter to come let my dog Belle out a couple times each day. Kelsey stayed in great communication throughout the whole time and Belle LOVED her! Kelsey did everything that was needed plus she even tidied up each visit! I will definitely be using Kelsey again the next time I need a sitter!”

“Mary Anne is the best! She takes great care of our cats and we never have to worry. She communicates well and always sends the best pictures of our girls. So happy we found someone reliable who our cats love! Couldn’t reccomend her more!!!”

“We always feel so safe when we go out of town and know that our very social cat is going to be taken care of by Sydney. She is great at communicating with us about what is going on, and somehow manages to get the best pictures of our cat! She is kind and goes above and beyond in her care and we appreciate her so very much!”

“Erika did a fantastic job, was honest about one of my cats who normally doesn't because she's too shy with unfamiliar people not eating, exceeded expectations by playing with my other two after meal time and let me know about how all of them were doing.”

“I was really happy the care and attention Stacy put into her visits with my two aging cats. She communicated and sent photos daily, which put my mind at ease. I'll definitely be contacting her again for my pet care needs.”

“Samantha was awesome with our cats! We have 3 and all of them seemed to really love her. She did a great job watching them while we were away for the weekend and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“So grateful Matthew could help watch my place while I was gone. He was conscientious about sending me pics and updates and my neighbor enjoyed his conversation.”

“Andi went above and beyond in caring for our kitties. When they got sick while we were away, she worked in tandem with the vet tech to make sure they had the medicine and care they needed. We got thorough updates until the issue was resolved. Our cats trust Andi and love to snuggle and play with her, even our shy kitty loves her!”

“Melissa cared for our three boy kitties while we were out of town recently. She was very reliable and timely in providing updates on her visits, but most importantly, I could tell she truly enjoys cats - even our shy boy came out and was seeking attention! Would absolutely recommend Melissa and will hire her again in the event we need a cat sitter.”

“Brittaney did an incredible job of watching my two cats while I was out of town for a week. I received videos and photos for each visit, she cleaned litter boxes, fed the cats, and played with them. She even took my trash cans out so I wouldn’t miss it. I highly recommend her.”

“J Does a great job with my pup and yesterday was super helpful because she drilled him on his commands and helped get some kongs prepped. J is reliable and communicates well.”

About: I grew up with cats and understand that they run the show. Snuggles and cuddles are according to their interest. Play time is when they decide! My home is clean and safe and welcoming to your feline friend.
“Lucinda did a great job stepping in at the last minute when I was out-of-town, and my cat became ill. She came by twice a day to give my cat eyedrops, which is not always an easy thing to do! She was punctual, and had very good. communication. Recommended.”

“Camille and her daughter did great with my two cats, one of whom is a kitten. They’re both sweet cats, but Duvalin can be shy and they were still able to coax her out of her shell for some playtime. We did not even do a meet & greet in person beforehand, but Camille followed my written instructions perfectly.”

“Jami is very diligent with sending pics/vids even when we don’t respond right away, with also sharing all needed updates about Mango. She’s straightforward, super helpful, very nice, reassuring, and keeps it a big world for your dog as she did for our Mango. She’s now our favorite and top person for anytime Mango would need daycare for the day or boarding when we have to leave for a trip.”

“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. It was like Christmas. I got pictures and video updates thought the day and report card at end of day. Kuka, my dog, loves their Rudy. They became buddies. I cant recommend them high enough!! Kuka went to doggie day care in the past and it always stressed her out. We tired 4 different places. She is super duper happy with Susan and family.”

“Jennifer, Eric and their 2 sweet kiddos are so great with our puppy Banks! They are very attentive to his needs and are great about getting his energy out! When I dropped him off for his second day with them he was sprinting to their front door! We are very very happy with the care they provide Banks and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.
“We needed someone to do a long daycare for our very active and high energy doggy Maya and found a great sitter with Mersel! Mersel was great to work with, responded quickly and we were very impressed with her place for both the backyard and all the spaces in the house for the dogs to play and rest. Mersel also kept us updated regularly and sent us lots of pictures and videos as the day progressed. We will definitely be booking with Mersel again in the future!”

“I was looking for a opportunity for my year old Sheltie to gain some socialization skills and have play time with other dogs. Dottie has worked out perfectly. Katie goes a couple of times a week and comes home tired and played out. She already knows that when I say "Let's go to Dottie's" to head to the garage door. Katie has settled in at Dottie's and loves it. Thank you, Dottie!”

“Our dogs always come home happy and calm from their play day at Angelica and Tyler's. They can't wait to get to their house so all our doggy dates are a win for everyone :-)”

“Mariia was great! She communicated quickly and provided great instructions upon arrival. Her home is very clean and welcoming. She made sure my pup was taken care of. Would definitely book again!”

“Asher loves going to daycare at Savannah’s! I totally trust her and know he’s well cared for and having so much fun when I’m working or out of town. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“We are so lucky to have found Abdallah to take care of our husky, Kira. You can tell he genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the dogs he watches and Kira is always so incredibly happy when we drop her off. I would absolutely recommend him!”

“Carol truly went above and beyond! I have a senior dog with separation anxiety and she truly did everything she could to be friends with him! We also had a car emergency and picked him up later than scheduled, but she was incredibly accommodating and understanding. Carol is kind and a true gem! 1000/10!”

“JJ did very well with Nana. He’s a little timid around other dogs and there were three other dogs. Nana took great care of JJ and we will definitely use her again! She sent videos and picture which were appreciated.”
“We absolutely love Stacy. Her communication was superb throughout our beloved Darwin’s stay. She is warm and Marge and Darwin got along so well. We will definitely be using her services as our first port of call going forward.”

“My big girls favorite family! Her tail almost falls off when she knows she gets to come over! We appreciate the love and care you give her ♥️♥️♥️”

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.
“Helped me out in a last minute request! My pup was so settled after his walks, I knew they had a good time and quality exercise. Also got to meet her dog, very gentle and sweet. 10/10”

“Erika walk my dog 3 days a week and is amazing! She always makes sure to take pictures and update if anything is different (I.e loose stole or not eating his breakfast). It’s great knowing my boy will be taken care of while I’m at school.”

“Stacey was awesome and our pup had an amazing time walking with her. I loved all the pics she sent and she gave thorough notes about each walk. We will definitely use Stacey again!”

“Emma was fantastic with my dog! He took to her so quickly and he’s usually more shy/timid around strangers. She followed all instructions to a T and took a bunch of photos which I appreciate. I would absolutely recommend Emma to watch your fur babies!”

“I have a resource-guarding, difficult dog that k did a wonderful job looking after for 2-plus weeks. She is reliable and responsible and I will be using her again in the future. You should too!”

“Corey has been a lifesaver for my pug, Poppy, and me! She walks her 4 days a week and brings her son, Luke, with her which I love because Poppy's rarely around kids (plus, I know that between Corey and Luke, Poppy is getting a good dose of exercise during their visits). I am so grateful that they take such good care of my girl (and she captures great photos of her!). Thank you, Corey (and Luke)!”

About: I have a very positive personality that I bring out in all work that I do. I am a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a 3 year old pup of my own—Louie. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I moved around the Portland area a bit, so I took a break from Rover, but now my life is more settled and I’m happy to take your fur-babies on walks, or drop in! I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. My most availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I pride myself in being thorough and paying attention to detail. I will follow any and all instructions that you provide. Having a dog of my own, I can supply poop bags and treats if necessary.
About: I have taken care of dogs, and pet/house sitting for friends, family, and other people throughout the last 6.5 years. My family had two dogs while growing up who I adored and loved taking care of. I also worked at a dog daycare for a bit during my freshman and sophomore years of college. I have always enjoyed being around dogs and spending time caring for them. They deserve all the love and attention they can get! I am detail-oriented and pay attention to the little things that matter. I do have a part-time job so I am available Mondays and Wednesdays after 11:00 am as well as Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays after 4:30 pm and anytime on the weekends. I have always loved working with and spending time with dogs. Being mindful of their body language, the environment they are in, and many other factors is important in making sure they are well cared for and comfortable. Dogs - just like humans, love their routine and I intend to stick to it. I love taking pictures and providing several updates while taking care of pets. I believe it is important to keep owners informed and up to date on how/what their dog is doing. Especially because I know that when I miss my dog it's always nice to know that they are okay.
“Lucinda made multiple extra visits to my house (outside of scheduled walks) to try & get my very fearful dog to get to know her. She is very patient & understanding, I just wish my dog would be more cooperative! I appreciate how she went above & beyond to try & accommodate my scaredy cat dog. <3”

“Angelica was great with my Aussie! She was very sweet with him, very responsive, and she lives in a lovely neighborhood. We’ll definitely be having him stay with Angelica again!”

“Amy and family took great care of Ahsoka! We received lots of pictures and videos while we were away, along with updates and comments about how great she was doing, which really helped our peace of mind.”

“Allison was very accommodating with our dog Yoshi who still has a lot of puppy energy. I could tell that Yoshi had a great stay, he came back home calm and very affectionate. I'll definitely reach out to Allison for dog sitting in the future.”

“A big thanks to Christopher, he made the whole process easy. We were able to relax on vacation knowing he was being cared for through updates and pictures. We definitely recommend him to others!”

“Hayley and Graham took good care of our girl (A Anja German Shepherd). They had patience with her picky eatting, and tried various things to encourage her to eat. I really appreciated that, especially because this was her first time away from "mom & dad" Daily photos showed she was at ease. Thankyou again.”

“Our little guy Huck had a great time at Hannah and Matt's. They went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable in their home and with their dogs. Lots of communication with photos and updates throughout our wee away. We already rebooked and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!”
