“Jamie and Nicole took very good care of our dog and kept us posted with many happy photos. Our dog seemed to miss Jamie and Nicole the first night we took him home. We highly recommend them!”

“Susie couldn’t have been kinder to my two geriatric pups, who made themselves perfectly at home and had a lovely time. It’s such a great feeling knowing I’m leaving them in a caring environment while I’m traveling, and she sent so many wonderful pictures throughout their stay. They will definitely be returning!”

“Kristopher was very helpful and accommodating in setting up boarding for my dog just a few days before I needed to leave town. He put my mind at ease with leaving my pup with someone I didn’t know. I got updates and photos of my boy each day and I’m pretty sure Kristopher could make a living doing pet photography! Should I need pet sitting again, I will certainly seek out Kristopher again.”

“Our little senior doxie, Rocky, spent 2 weeks with Barbara and we couldn’t be more happy with how it went! Barbara gave him lots of love and cuddles, and they spent some time watching Dodger baseball together. Rocky can’t wait for the next time he can spend time with Barbara 😊”

“Marybeth and family took good care of our dog Toby for a week. I believe Toby had as good a vacation as we did! He got to play with Zoey and keep an eye on the cats. He spent time relaxing on the back deck watching the chickens. Working out the details with Marybeth was easy and she's quick to respond. She's obviously good with animals.”

“Perla had a great time with lots of play! Elizabeth has a nice big home with lots of room to run around both inside and out. Her dog Lilo and Perla got along really well. We'll definitely be a repeat customer.”

“My one-year-old active dog had the best time at Abe's place. He was very communicative both about issues (she chewed through her harness, oops) and sending daily video and photo updates. I could tell that she was enjoying her time, playing well with the other dogs and hopefully learning some good adult-dog behaviors. It was hard leaving my dog for the first time with a stranger, but chatting with Abe and seeing him with his own dogs made me feel comfortable immediately. I am ready to book him again for my next vacation.”

“Peter was wonderful!!! He was very thoughtful and kind. My pup can be a little shy but she loved hanging out with Peter, family and pups! Thanks Peter!!!”

“Jean did a great job. She has a great yard for the dogs to run in. She was great with my dogs separation anxiety and didn't leave them alone. She also helped my anxiety with texts And photos. I'm so glad I found her. ”
“Veronica was great with our two dogs. She has a calming manner and our nervous border collie when away from home appeared totally at ease in the sweet photos that she sent us. And I’m sure our husky enjoyed playing with her huskies. They all made a good pack. 😊”

“Kathy and her daughter, home from college, were such fantastic, flexible, and dependable care takers for our two pups. I had surgery and a family emergency all at the same time when Kathy stepped in to be a complete lifesaver. Our pups are quite attached and love cuddles. I could tell both from the photos she shared and how our pups behaved after their stay that they were well cared for and loved. Thank you!”

“Amanda and Jaime took fantastic care of my dog and went above and beyond to make him comfortable. My dog is still a puppy and this was his first time away from us for an extended period of time, but the boarder did her best to ensure he felt safe and tried to ease his anxiety as much as possible. I will definitely use Amanda and Jamie for my future boarding needs!”

“Noemi went above and beyond to make our nervous small dogs comfortable. Lots of updates throughout the weekend, and they clearly had a great time during their stay with her.”

“She is very lovely and caring person, and she took care of our dog very well. Roseinda was sending a lot pictures of our dog and making sure he is getting well taking care. Thank you for your great service, we appreciate that!”

“Leslie was absolutely fantastic! She took excellent care of our dog, Fred, providing a wonderfully caring and safe environment for him. It gave us such peace of mind to know he was in such good hands while we were away. We really enjoyed the daily updates and pictures she sent. Our dog can be quite shy around new places and people, so we were thrilled and pleased that things went so well. It was clear he was well-fed and loved. We won't hesitate to book with Leslie again!”

“Damon takes such good care of our dogs, especially with the special needs of our geriatric dog Rosie. I love getting the pictures and hearing how things are going. Rosie loved it so much she didn’t want to leave. This is our second time with Damon, and we’ll definitely visit again.”
“Angus had another fantastic staycation with Sabrina & Keelan! They and their pups welcome Angus into their pack and spoil him with walks, snuggles, and playtime. So happy we found them!”

“The last thing a pet parent wants is to worry about their beloved furry baby while traveling. Hayleigh provided just the right amount of love and care to Dash. I’m so grateful for sitters who truly love dogs and understand dog behaviors. Dash is by no means a problematic dog but he experienced some anxiety with another sitter that I had no choice but to switch sitters mid booking. Hayleigh was a comfort and even arranged to pick him up at previous sitter. I have no doubt she knows what she’s doing. Thank you!”

“Victoria was very attentive and filled all of our requests. She talked with our kitties which I appreciate because it comforts them to hear human voices. All of their needs were met and all instructions were followed. I would absolutely ask Victoria to care for our little ones again.”

“Emma is the best sitter! Not only did she take great care of my cat, but she also kept me updated on her health issues and how she was doing afterward. I often worry about my cat during trips and have trouble enjoying myself, but this time I was able to relax and have fun. I definitely want to ask her to take care of my cat again”

“Stayed extra long to make friends with my nervous orange tabby! Went above and beyond to make sure he was ok. Even had to play an impromptu game of hide and seek with him when he was hidden away. Truly appreciate how Karly really cared about my sensitive baby, Chonky. And jumped in when other care from a friend fell through. Thank you! Will definitely book again!”

“J Does a great job with my pup and yesterday was super helpful because she drilled him on his commands and helped get some kongs prepped. J is reliable and communicates well.”

About: Hello! My name is Natalie and I am a passionate, committed dog-lover with 10+ years of experience in dog handling. Growing up with dogs, I was exposed to dog training at an early age. I have 3 years of combined experience volunteering at dog-centered organizations including Caring Canines Visiting Therapy Dogs and Oregon Dog Rescue. I am well versed in behavioral training (house training, leash training, etc.), having prepared my own dogs for therapy work and assisting in the training of many friend’s’ dogs. Past experience in training, bathing, feeding, and providing hands-on care to rescue dogs has equipped me with the skills needed to provide your pet with a wonderful walk or pet-sitting experience. I am excited about working with pets of all sizes and temperaments! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I have plenty of time to care for your pet! As a part time farming camp counselor, I love being outside and am committed to providing your dog with plenty of walks and outdoor time! I am comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and will account for all of your pets needs (food supplementation, medication, crate-usage, etc.). By focusing on their needs and comfortability in my presence, I aim to create a safe, trusting, and positive environment for your pet.
“Just starting using Rover and Colby, my first time. Impressed by the prompt communication, updates, pictures if my dogs. Also, punctual. Thank you!”

“Kathy did a fantastic job watching our cat, Lilly. She gave descriptive check-in notes which were very comforting while we were away. Lilly normally gets quite lonely while we are gone and she seemed very content when we returned!”

“Thank you Veronica! Arrived home from my journey and found everything in order and a kitty cat that was eager to see me, but was clearly taken care of in my absence. Will definitely seek to reenlist Veronica for future journeys”

About: I've had 11 cats over the course of my life and have fostered four litters of kittens, some of which were malnourished and required special care and medication. As a cat owner myself, I'm very familiar with the day-to-day realities of feline care, from cleaning up messes to engaging them in play. I bring a calm, gentle presence and a keen attention to detail, making sure every cat feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.
“Lucinda did a great job stepping in at the last minute when I was out-of-town, and my cat became ill. She came by twice a day to give my cat eyedrops, which is not always an easy thing to do! She was punctual, and had very good. communication. Recommended.”

“Marianne was the perfect kitten sitter for our babies. Our first trip out of town was pretty nervewracking, but Marianne was incredibly thoughtful, communicative, and eager to play and entertain them. We were very grateful to have her watch over our boys, and will def use her services again!”

“Our puppy had the best day with Kristopher. He was sensitive to our puppy’s needs, and eased her into meeting his crew when she was nervous on arrival. She seems to have had the best day, and we are so appreciative of his expertise with puppies.”

“Sequoia took very good care of our anxious pup to make him feel right at home. She provided great photos and thorough details from the day. We will gladly have our Bruce stay with her again!”

“Damon is a wonderful sitter and handled my two dogs with such great care! They had a great time and came thoroughly exhausted and happy. We got videos and photos throughout the day which was awesome. Your dog will be super cared for and in great hands with Damon! I highly recommend him.”

“Tommy was extremely communicative and provided a lot of good updates and photos during my dog's stay! You can tell he's really good with dogs and loves to be with them. Absolutely recommend Tommy to anyone in downtown PDX!”
“Hannah & Blake are awesome dog sitters. They're super professional, and we never worry when our pup is with them. They send tons of fun photos and videos, and their backyard is a dog's dream. Our dog always has a blast. Highly recommend them if you want your dog to be safe and happy!”

“Took my 3 year old female GSD to Allen’s for daycare and had a good first time experience. Got to meet the other dogs and see her interact with them. Lots of photos and videos throughout the day, which really helps you feel at ease for a first time drop off. Good to know the dogs are running around getting their exercise. We plan to continue using Allen’s services.”

“Chelsea has been awesome with my pups, and they love playing with her dogs as well. Their stay has been great. They’re tuckered out and happy every day I’ve picked them up after daycare 💞”

“I left my pup in Lisa's care for a very short stint while I had to run some errands during a visit. She had a nice space for Yoda and multiple locking puppy gates to accommodate the dogs, and he was able to settle in even with her other house guests being big dogs.”

“My big girls favorite family! Her tail almost falls off when she knows she gets to come over! We appreciate the love and care you give her ♥️♥️♥️”

“Abe was very flexible and easy to work with. Although I only met his Husky, his dog was well trained and helped mellow out my overly anxious, fear reactive GSD. I hope to work with him again soon.”

“Cathy was absolutely wonderful not only did she take Sheldon into her home he felt it home, but she has a nice patio and she took him out for a walk all for a four hour visit. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s a very loving, kind and compassionate individual to get five stars, but I’d give her six if there were six stars available. Thank you, Cathy”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I grew up in an animal loving family and as a mother of two I have passed the love for dogs, particularly, down to my own kids. We know that our pets are family members and understand that their well-being, happiness, and comfort is of utmost importance! I am the go to dog sitter for friends and family. I have cared for everything from puppies to seniors. Our family is a safe haven for your dog and you can rest assured that they are getting the attention, care, and respect they individually need. I work from home. My rescue dog is by my side all day. He’s the sweetest guy who gets along with any and all dogs. Any age, breed, or gender is welcome. The pups have attentive attention, full reign of our cozy home with doggy door, ample fenced backyard, and friendly neighborhood to walk, if desired! Dogs like their routine and I am understanding of adhering to any restrictions or schedules needed.
“Miss Pickles and Ginger had a wonderful day with Amber. They must have played hard because as soon as we picked them up and got them in the car, they fell sound asleep. Amber was very easy to communicate with and fast with her responses during the scheduling process. We will definitely use Amber again in the future!”
“Savannah has been absolutely great with my pup...& that's not easy! Tigger's a very high energy pup. Yet after daycare, he calm & tired from playing. Yeah! She genuinely loves dogs, which is a necessary quality in ANY dog sitter. She knew I was nervous about leaving him, so she sent pics to let me know he was okay. Tigger looked so happy playing with his compadres. Savannah has been very flexible & understanding with me too, which I really appreciate. I'll definitely continue to use her & would recommend her without hesitation.”

“Maggie is the first sitter I used on Rover and I am definitely going to utilize her services again. She cares for each pet as if it were her own. My dog absolutely loved Maggie's spacious backyard.”

“Thank you for watching Lilith! This was our first time using Rover, I was pretty anxious after drop off but your messages reassured me that things would be ok.”

“Lisa and Brian got along amazingly with our two pups! One of our younger dogs can be a lot to love (he thinks he's smaller than he really is) and they embraced him fully. Both dogs returned home tired and happy after a fun day of backyard running and snuggles. Lisa was also super communicative and sent lots of photos. We'll definitely reach out to them again!”

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.
“I don't have enough good things to say about Colby!! He walks my dog for me and just goes above and beyond for her. I've never used a dog walker before and was nervous to try it out and Colby just made the whole process so smooth and reassuring for me. He has excellent communication and sends cute photo updates. It's everything to me to know my baby is in good hands!”

About: Loved and cared for my dog for 15 years but she has sadly passed; I also regularly dog-sit for friends. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and enjoy taking them for walks, on hikes, or playing at the park. I work well with any type of dog personality, high energy or shy. Whether your dog just needs a stop in visit or a walk, I will spend my time bonding with your pet and making sure that he/she is comfortable around me. My goal is to make a new furry friend and give it the attention and love it is missing while you are away from home! I will provide endless amounts of belly rubs and attention; it probably brings me just as much happiness as it does your pet! I can guarantee at least one really cute photo of your pet (most likely more) :)
“Shianne is an exceptional dog walker! She's incredibly dependable, flexible, and has fantastic communication. She's also wonderfully sweet with our two corgis, and always makes sure they get a great workout. Our Lulu, who is obsessed with greeting people on her walks, especially loves her time with Shianne. She's my go-to person for our pups!”

About: I’ve have one Doberman that my dad made sure I was apart of the their training and raising. So I pick up poop every week, wash them when they’re dirty, walk them every other day since she’s about 5-6 months old so has a lot of energy. I also take her to vet appointments and I help feed her dinner. I’m very experienced with big dogs and little ones because I have friends and family with dogs that range from chihuahuas to cane corsos/giant schnauzers/Hungarian sheepdog. I can do walks and pet-sit after school. On the weekends I can stay overnight if needed. I’m willing to adjust depending on the situation! A bunch of butt rubs and back scratches! I like to really connect with the dogs so if they prefer silence or tv that’s fine! Also feeding them on time and getting them out to use the bathroom on time helps create that trust and bond! I can play with the dogs to their content since I’m young and have the energy!
“Our dog doesn't have a lot of experience with sitters, and Allison knew just how to patiently interact with her as she warmed up to her new friend. We're also going through a house move, so our pup and cats are going through lots of change. It feels good to know that Allison brings the experience we need as an animal lover.”

About: I have loved dogs and cats since a young age. I had my birthday party at a humane society when I turned 10 and I think that story perfectly depicts my love for animals. I’ve been walking dogs at the Oregon Dog Rescue 3-4x per week for the last 6 months, so I’ve gained a lot of knowledge on walking reactive and larger dogs. I have a cat of my own and hope to get a dog someday soon, but I think walking dogs and spending time with them would be a perfect way to get my dog fix in the meantime :) I have lots of experience around dogs and enjoy their good-nature. I currently work a remote job so I have the flexibility to fit a a dog walk (or two) into my days, most likely Monday-Friday and potentially occasional weekends. I like to get outside and I like dogs so I thought this would be the perfect way to do both. My cat is definitely very loved and spoiled. She gets lot of attention and treats. I would extend this same love and care towards any dog/cat I would be spending time with, and try my best to make sure they feel safe and cared for in their time with me.
“Lucinda made multiple extra visits to my house (outside of scheduled walks) to try & get my very fearful dog to get to know her. She is very patient & understanding, I just wish my dog would be more cooperative! I appreciate how she went above & beyond to try & accommodate my scaredy cat dog. <3”

“Skyelin was very professional, kind and communicative. She was also flexible with me changing plans. I got some very nice photos of the pups out on their walks and they seemed to have a great time!”

I genuinely love animals and understand how important it is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I’m currently working mornings and I’m open Monday through Saturday after 12 PM. I prefer to have Sundays off and my mornings spent with my kittens. My biggest priority is to keep your furry baby safe, comfortable, and happy. I follow care instructions closely and maintain a safe environment. Whether we’re on a walk, playing, or relaxing at home, I’ll make sure your pet receives attentive care. I also believe in keeping owners updated with regular photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I moved around the Portland area a bit, so I took a break from Rover, but now my life is more settled and I’m happy to take your fur-babies on walks, or drop in! I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. My most availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I pride myself in being thorough and paying attention to detail. I will follow any and all instructions that you provide. She went out her way to make sure Rosie was comfortable and even provided services I didn't ask for, like chopping up extra fruit and veggies when the stuff I supplied ran out. Would highly recommend and would hope to be able to use her services again!”

“Tammy did a wonderful job taking care of my Shih Tzhu. She is caring, prompt with communication, and went above and beyond (even bathing my dog before pickup). I highly recommend her!”

“They are the nicest people and treated Tom as if he was their own. They kept sending pics of Tom having the best time, which allowed me to enjoy my vacation.”

“Abigail and her family were great hosts for my dog Baxter. She is very quick to respond, gives detailed updates, and sends pictures. Would recommend for sure!”

“River seemed to really love staying with Amy and her family. Their yard is enormous - a HUGE bonus to us because River doesn’t always get along with other dogs at a park. River was able to get worn out in the backyard and have bonus leash walks. Amy sent updates, photos & video and communicated if she had any questions. We will definitely book with Amy again!”
