I work from home part-time, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby(ies). I typically work mornings Tuesday-Friday, and have most afternoons and weekends available.

I love giving cuddles to any animal who needs them. I will give them space if they need time to adjust, and I will patiently help them warm up to me. My hobbies include reading and crochet, so I will happily provide the company and comfort that your pet needs.

I love all animals! I would like to know about any allergies or dietary issues beforehand. If they have any physical limitations, such as recent surgery, can't run, hearing/seeing disabilities, I'd like to know so that I can accommodate their needs.

I love grabbing their favorite toy and getting them comfortable to be around me! I like to show them that I love being in their company as well and simply cuddling with them. If they enjoy car rides, I love to walk around the local parks, but I am also open to a walk around the neighborhood or backyard if possible. For high energy dogs, I unfortunately cannot play for long due to a minor physical disability. For cats, it’s easier to entertain and give pets since they are typically much smaller.

I'm happy to help enforce skills they already know such as sit, down, stay, come, kennel, etc. I've trained Southeastern Guide Dogs before and can bring those skills to the table. I can figure out their good spots to scratch so that they'll enjoy being around me and trust me. I have also been around all different sizes and breeds of dogs, so please don't worry about size, breed, personality, or disabilities. I want to help give you the confidence of being a pet parent while still living your own life!

Amy is absolutely amazing. I have an incredibly difficult dog. She is just terrified of anything new or different. Finding someone to watch her is challenging at best. Amy went above and beyond. She was patient and dedicated from the onset. She understands dogs and adapts to their needs while keeping me informed with daily updates and photos. Amy is a rare and compassionate soul who I would trust with anyone or anything I care about.
We could not have asked for a better house sitter and pet lover! Our dog was so well taken care of that she was sad to see Amy leave. And our house was left in perfect shape. It’s an incredible treat to have found such a considerate and loving person to care for our dog and our home!
Amy was super communicative and sent lots of photos during her stay. We knew our girls would be well cared for during our trip. Thank you Amy!!
