“Susie was fabulous. She sent regular pictures and updates and took such loving care of our dog. It was so nice to be able to relax and know he was in good hands. Would definitely recommend!”

“My dogs LOVED their stay at Heather and Roberto's place!! We received pictures every day, they loved exploring the back yard, and most importantly they came home happy :))”

“I would definitely recommend Odalis and her family to anyone needing pet care! Our black lab is pretty high energy in new spaces and they sent the happiest photos of him enjoying his stay at their home. He came home tired but well kept :)”

“Everything went so well! My dog loved Barbara’s huge backyard and comfy sofa. I loved the great care my pup got, including a chance to sleep in the big bed. Pictures and updates a couple of times a day let me know all was well. Thank you Barbara!”

“Suzanne was awesome and sent us pictures and updates everyday. We felt really good about leaving our pup with her and will definitely be using her again!”

“We feel so lucky to have found Damon to care for our mini Australian Labradoodle, Bruno. We've had one overnight and one full day with him so far, and we’re already booked for a longer nine-night stay—without hesitation. From the start, Damon impressed us with his calm, confident presence and genuine love for dogs. He took the time to understand both our dog’s needs and our concerns—especially my anxiety about leaving Bruno, who’s still young and very much believes he’s a big dog in a smaller body. Damon was incredibly responsive, sending beautiful photo updates and clear communication throughout the stay. You can tell he really pays attention, not just to the dogs, but to the people who love them. Bruno had the best time playing frisbee, going on walks, and socializing with other dogs—including a sweet Great Dane! But Damon managed the dynamic beautifully, making sure every dog felt safe, engaged, and respected. He clearly understands dog behavior and creates a balanced environment where pups of all sizes can thrive. It also meant the world to us that Damon noticed what a special little guy Bruno is. That kind of attentiveness and appreciation speaks volumes. We fully trust Damon and feel at peace knowing Bruno is in such capable, loving hands. We honestly can’t recommend him enough.”

“As always Shawna and the girls were great with Dante. He was in great shape when I picked him up. He was happy and excited to see me. Shawna was super flexible about me picking him up because my plane was delayed getting back to LA.”

“Jennifer and Eric and their two sons were amazing with my nine month old pup! I was so grateful to have a safe loving home for my dog to be at while I was out of town. Thank you again so much for treating her like your own!”

“Great communication throughout the stay! We appreciated the pictures and videos through the day to give us the confidence our dogs were receiving the best care. We can’t wait to book with Mersal again! In fact, our dog Laika has been missing her new friends since she’s back home!”

“Hummus is the happiest when he is with Manisha. The only time my wife and I have a pleasant holiday is when our baby is with the Manisha :) such a sweet family that gives every pupper the best time of their lives! You will not find anyone better.”

“Dottie took excellent care of my deaf 16-year-old beagle named Brody. She cooked special food for him that he absolutely loved. She sent me photos regularly throughout each day with cute captions that reassured me what good hands he was in. She had a special wonderful and comfortable bed that he likes so much that I am buying one for my Brody! She recommended a new medication for his arthritis that we intend to use. Dottie takes a very special interest in dogs that comes from her heart. I was able to enjoy my trip because I knew my dog was in excellent hands. I highly recommend Dottie!”
“Angela was an amazing dog sitter! We left our fur baby with her during our long vacation. She updated me every day with pictures and how Winston was doing. Great experience!”

“Laura truly cares about dogs and will take amazing care of your dog. My dog is very timid and scared of most people. She was in great hands with Laura. Laura has a beautiful backyard where your dog can run around or just lay in the sun.”

“Scout, our 9-year-old Labrador, stayed with Siru for an extended period. Siru was eager to let Scout enjoy her favorite activities, which made her very happy. Knowing our beloved pet was happy and well cared for allowed us to enjoy our trip without worry. The best part was the updates and photos that Siru sent us.”

“Paige & David did a wonderful job watching my dog. They are extremely welcoming and ready to make your pet feel at home with their family. Communication was excellent and consistent. Would use again!”

“Jalyssa is everything you want in a pet sitter. She's very accommodating and had no issues when I changed plans around. My anxious kitty did great with her and even opened up and enjoyed her time there. Would recommend”

“Nadine took great care of our dog, Rosco while we were away for a long weekend with family. He got to play outdoors a lot more than he does at home, and with other dogs, too. It was his first time boarding anywhere and he was a little nervous but Nadine is a dog whisperer and gave him what he needed to settle in. She also introduced him to her cat; a creature he had little knowledge of, but had admired from afar. Rosco wanted to chase her a little bit but Nadine was able to talk him out of it. She took lots of pictures for us. Good ones! Rosco is usually either asleep or in motion, so he’s not the best photographic model. We’re homebodies, but if we go somewhere again, Rosco will stay with Nadine.”

“Alexis and Jacob were fantastic! Great communication and flexibility with drop off/pick ups. I appreciated the frequent updates, pictures and videos. Would definitely book with them again!”

“Katie could not be any kinder or thoughtful to us, the pet parents. The way Lemmy acts around her makes us feel like she treats him the same way. He gets lots of outdoor time with Katie and always comes home pooped. Lemmy is a reactive rescue and Katie has the perfect personality to handle him and is helping to socialize him more. Thank you Katie, we all love you!”

“Alysia took care of our paralyzed dog…she contracted coon-hound this summer and is temporarily paralyzed and it has been a heartbreaking experience for us all to watch how slow and long the recovery will be and she gave a much desperately needed vacation. Our Ruby was loved on the entire time and came home happy!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Tualatin
Debra and her husband were absolutely amazing with our babies. They treated Bill and Athena like their own. We received frequent updates showing just how at home Bill and Athena were, even sleeping in their bed overnight (which they checked with us first on). It was hard for me to get Bill to leave as he loved being with them so much. We are trying to find more trips to go on just so Bill and Athena can go over to Debra's again.

Angela was awesome with Tika and very good with daily updates via text because I was on a cruise ship. and that was the easiest way to communicate. Tika came home tired and happy - I suspect Tika wants to go back because our life is very quiet, and she doesn't have two friends to play with. :-) I would definitely use her again!

Alexis and her kiddos showed my lil doggo so much love and grace. She cared for my pup in the second week of July, when there was still fireworks going off. My dog is super anxious with loud noises, but Alexis had the confidence and experience to comfort my dog while I was away. She sent loads of updates and assured me that my dog was getting very attentive care. Would rebook in a heartbeat!

Rayleigh and the family were great! I had to have a last minute booking due to some issues with a other rover. She worked with me for the drop off time. Chewy loved his time there and I didn't have to worry about him at all! I will try to book again if I ever find the need while I'm in the area again.

Melanie and her family are so fantastic with our dog, Fennel. He has stayed in her home twice and both times came home happy and was clearly well loved and well cared for. Melanie is great with communication and sending update photos that clearly show he is having such a good time at Camp Melanie. I would recommend her home without hesitation to anyone I know. Fennel has separation anxiety (and so do I) so going away without him can be hard to do but finding a place that he is comfortable and genuinely seems happy to be boarded has been so wonderful and we feel so lucky to have Melanie’s home as an option for Fennel to have a fun vacation of his own when we go away.

Maddy has taken care of our rambunctious pup for multiple overnight stays and has cared for (and managed!) our pup so well. We really appreciate the daily updates, the transparency about how things are going and what other dogs are there (if any), and the wonderful playmate our pup has enjoyed in Maddy’s dog Amina. We have experienced a number of Rover sitters over the years, and Maddy’s professionalism rises to the top. Thank you Maddy we appreciate you!

Rose took such great care of our dog while we were away. She sent sweet daily updates and photos, took her on walks, and made us feel totally at ease the entire time. Our dog got along great with her dog and came home happy and relaxed. She was warm, communicative, professional, and clearly really cares about the animals she watches. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!
