Pearl is so well taken care of and LOVES Deb!

Wonderful Dogsitter. Will call again definitely.

Pearl loved her time with you! She was obviously very well taken care of. I was able to enjoy my trip knowing she was in great hands!

Debra and her husband are the best! I immediately knew that my dog was going to be in the most loving hands after the first phone call with Debra. My pup instantly felt at home with them when I dropped him off, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Debra kept me updated with great communication and adorable pictures throughout the stay, so I always knew my dog was happy and in good hands. She also made sure he got plenty of walks and attention. He came home relaxed, content, and clearly well cared for. I can’t recommend Debra enough! If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, she’s the one.

Debra was amazing with our fur babies! We left our two dogs with her and husband for an extended period and she made us feel so comfortable after the drop off. Deb has a kind gentle spirit and we knew our pups were happy and comfortable by the vids and pics she sent. One of our pups is elderly and needs a little more care, while the other has more energy and she kept up with both during their stay! They were happy pups when we got them home!

In a situation where I was faced with a cancellation from a previous sitter only three days before an international trip for twelve days, I promptly contacted several potential sitters. Debra responded swiftly and engaged in a video chat with me. She assured me that her husband and she were both retired, and one of them was always home. Debra also assured me that she would frequently send me pictures and that Rylee would never be left alone. I dropped off her cage with her in case she needed to be away along with her food, blanket, towels, treats and medical records. However, I received only one picture of Rylee on the fourth day and, on the ninth day, Debra sent me a picture of a basket stating that Rylee had chewed up a wicker basket and urinated on a rug in the house. She informed me that the rug was approximately one year old, cost her $350, which she talked to Rover and I should be responsible for reimbursement as she had disposed of it. Debra also requested $50 for the wicker basket. I asked if the rug could be cleaned and she ignored that request. Given that she was responsible for my dog, I paid the damages. However, Debra was unable to provide ANY pictures of the rug, which raised skepticism about the actual occurrence of these incidents. Upon my return home, I encountered travel delays due to an airline issue and promptly contacted Debra about the matter. I had originally booked a pickup window between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM, but Debra insisted that my dog be picked up by 7:30 PM. Consequently, I had to call a friend to retrieve her on their time. Upon pickup, my friend was informed that the dog cage was broken, as the six wing nuts were missing and subsequently found inside the cage. It is unclear how a 20-pound dog could have removed five of the six metal bolts and wing nuts from the outside of the plastic cage. My friend walked Rylee and said she pottied excessively as though she had not been taken out as often as stated in my care notes. Rylee appears to be in good health, but these issues are unusual and resulted in additional charges. I had already incurred $150 for the late cancellation and an additional $150 for damages that could not be substantiated with pictures. Therefore, it is advisable to exercise caution when using this sitter. They may not always be home as they stated, and not using a dog crate as intended may lead to additional charges for damages without supporting evidence. I am always willing to accept responsibility for my own and my dogs actions, but without proper photos, it’s hard to understand how it happens. Rylee does not chew on furniture, toys or anything. She still has her original purple dinosaur from 10 years ago that is in immaculate condition, so not sure what happened. But wanted to share my thoughts for others.
