About: As a cat mom myself, I know how important it is to know that your cat is being well taken care of while you are away. As a cat sitter, my mission is to provide reliable and quality care. Like my cat for instance, she is not one to jump around for toys, but the moment I offer chin scratches and a warm place to sit on my legs, she is all for it. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

I would love to be able to continue caring for new animals, and get to know my community through that as well :) I am new to the area and am hoping to full-time pet sit for my first month or so here! I have full availability for you and your animals schedules! :) I am from the country and have had my share of outdoor and indoor animals. While in Beaverton, I prefer to keep my cat strictly indoors. However, I love spending time outside and think it’s very important for dogs to get the exercise they need!

“Katie was fantastic. This was a great first time user experience. During the meet and greet, Katie's easygoing attitude made me comfortable with leaving my fairly new adopted dog in her care. The fact that she showed a clear understanding of hound dog behavior was the icing on the cake. She was very flexible with my schedule change on drop off and pickup. She went above and beyond by letting me pick my doggo up at a really late hour of the day. Her quick pics and updates on Chloe during her stay was just right. “From the moment my two dogs met Peter they loved him. He is so good with doggies! The pictures he sent me showed just how happy they were with his family. They were given lots of time, affection, and fun, as well as special attention and grooming. They were with him because I was in the hospital for a medical procedure that went longer then expected. For me Peter's flexibility with my situation and the confidence he inspired made leaving my doggies in his hands in an already stressful time for me a peaceful decision. “Saawan and Kangna were the best!! Our corgi is a lot to handle sometimes, being a high energy breed, with his barking, and corgi habits. And they did such a great job with him. He came home happy and tired. We loved the regular updates they sent and were so happy to see pictures always popping up while we were on our trip. We loved their communications and flexibility when we had a 5 minute delay picking up. We will sure be adding Saawan and Kangna to the top of our list for sitters.”
