About: I’ve always been the person who stops to pet every dog or cat I see around the neighborhood, so getting to spend more time with animals is pretty much my idea of a good day. 🐾 I have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats, including working as a Kennel Attendant at VCA Rock Creek Hospital, walking dogs for a local dog-walking company, and caring for my own senior dog from the Humane Society, Mr Benny. After Benny passed away about a year ago, I still had so much love to give to animals! So I started volunteering with Animal Aid, where I help care for dogs and cats in need of homes. I’d love to give you an extra hand with your furry friend next. I’ve worked with dogs of all different ages, energy levels, and breeds, and I’m comfortable administering medication when needed. But honestly, one of my favorite parts of pet care is getting to know each animal’s personality—and getting to know their person, too. Whether your dog needs a good walk, your cat needs some company, or your pet just needs someone to give them a little extra love while you’re away, I’d be excited to help! I currently work a typical full-time schedule, so my availability is primarily on weekends in the afternoons and evenings. I’m happy to coordinate ahead of time to find a schedule that works well for both you and your pet. I only offer house visits, so I won’t be watching pets in my own home. I think pets are usually happiest staying in their own space, and I’m happy to come to them! I’ll follow your care instructions, make sure everything is secure before I leave, and send updates or photos if you’d like. I’m currently available for house visits during the times and within the radius listed on my profile.

“This is the first time Jessica has come to my house and was a last minute request on my part. She came as requested and kept me informed. My normally shy, hide in my bedroom, cat Pippen really hit it off with Jessica on the first day and enjoyed lap sitting and playing with her. I would definitely recommend Jessica.”

“Liz was fantastic. She took wonderful care of my dogs, was attentive to their needs, and communicated with me every day. I’d recommend her without hesitation.”

“Emma was great with our kitty Sal, she was punctual and updated us with great photos. He was very happy and well cared for when we returned to home!”

Noem H.

“Great communication! My kitties are usually afraid of people even people that are regularly in the house! But they are so at ease with Lucinda! Always happy and healthy when I get home! Thank you so much!”

Jacquie M.

“Loved that Dani does a little training with Max along with his potty breaks!”

Chynelle E.

“Lynden was an amazing sitter for my two cats while I was away! She was very communicative and gave me regular updates and photos, which I really appreciated. She took great care of my cats. I’ll definitely book her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: Small Groups, Big Attention: Personalized Walks for Your Dog With over 20 years of dog care experience, I bring a real understanding of dogs to each walk. What makes my walks different: 🐾 Max 2 dogs at a time. Your dog gets genuine attention, not a spot in a pack. I notice their mood, energy, and cues, every walk. 🐾 Paced to your dog, not the clock. Some days call for a slow sniff walk—letting them read every scent on the block. Other days they need to burn energy with a brisker pace. I adjust in the moment based on what your dog actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all route. 🐾 20+ years of hands-on experience. I've cared for dogs of multiple ages, breed, and temperament—from anxious rescues to high-energy puppies to easygoing seniors. That experience means I can read a dog quickly and respond calmly to whatever comes up. What you can expect: Photo/video updates from the walk GPS-tracked routes Consistent, reliable scheduling A walker who treats your dog like an individual, not a job on a list If you want a walker who slows down when your dog needs to sniff and speeds up when they need to run, let's talk about your pup. I run my business from home. My schedule is flexible. Your pup will get walks and a loving companion. Dogs are my true love and I absolutely adore spending time with them. I have a large fenced yard as well as a dedicated indoor area for pups. Your pup will be able to sit on the sofa with us and snuggle. My pup Bernie loves making friends. They will keep busy

“Lisha has been very reliable with our weekly schedule, and always communicates well. She has also offered a lot of flexibility to help with on-off needs (like when I travel). Our puppy is always happy to see her, and she gives him lots of play time.”

About: I have grown up with dogs since before I can even remember. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, dogs with medical conditions and allergies, and dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to Bernese mountain dogs. I used to dog sit and do dog walks for several of my neighbors. What I enjoy the most is getting to know each dog individually, learning their behaviors, and giving them the love and attention they deserve! <3 Currently, I am available on all days of the week except Saturday to help take care of your beloved pets. My earliest start time is 11am. I always adhere to the pet owner's instructions for how to best care for their pets. I respect their home and do everything I can to keep their pets safe and comfortable.
