About: A family of 4. My husband and I have both always had pets in our homes since we were children. Now our littles are the same way. We are huge pet lovers around here! We have a huge love for dogs and believe they should be treated just like you would treat anyone else in your family! I am a self employed hairstylist so my schedule is very flexible. I currently only work a couple days a week so I am able to be home with my kids and our dog! I have a decent sized fenced backyard and a dog park 5 houses away from our home! Also parks with lots of trails. We want your dog to feel safe and comfortable so we are okay with dogs who like to be crated and dog who don’t. Whatever makes your baby feel comfortable is what we will do! We believe pets should get to have vacations too. We will provide them with all the love and fun we can!🖤

About: I’ve always been the person who stops to pet every dog or cat I see around the neighborhood, so getting to spend more time with animals is pretty much my idea of a good day. 🐾 I have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats, including working as a Kennel Attendant at VCA Rock Creek Hospital, walking dogs for a local dog-walking company, and caring for my own senior dog from the Humane Society, Mr Benny. After Benny passed away about a year ago, I still had so much love to give to animals! So I started volunteering with Animal Aid, where I help care for dogs and cats in need of homes. I’d love to give you an extra hand with your furry friend next. I’ve worked with dogs of all different ages, energy levels, and breeds, and I’m comfortable administering medication when needed. But honestly, one of my favorite parts of pet care is getting to know each animal’s personality—and getting to know their person, too. Whether your dog needs a good walk, your cat needs some company, or your pet just needs someone to give them a little extra love while you’re away, I’d be excited to help! I currently work a typical full-time schedule, so my availability is primarily on weekends in the afternoons and evenings. I’m happy to coordinate ahead of time to find a schedule that works well for both you and your pet. I only offer house visits, so I won’t be watching pets in my own home. I think pets are usually happiest staying in their own space, and I’m happy to come to them! I’ll follow your care instructions, make sure everything is secure before I leave, and send updates or photos if you’d like. I’m currently available for house visits during the times and within the radius listed on my profile.

I have a small fenced yard for potty breaks and outdoor time, and Hazeldale Park is just a short walk away for additional exercise and enrichment. Dogs are welcome on furniture unless you prefer otherwise, and I’ll follow your pet’s usual routines, rules, and training expectations to help them feel comfortable. In Your Home & On Walks: Walks are tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, and individual needs. Whether we’re exploring your neighborhood, staying at home, or enjoying a relaxed sniffari, I’ll provide safe exercise, mental enrichment, and plenty of positive attention. I have a large dog stroller and use positive reinforcement techniques on walks. We will go over anlso review any training cues, commands, or routines you have established to help maintain consistency and good habits.

About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve had both dogs & cats for my whole life. I’d love the opportunity to share my experience and love of pets with your best friend(s). I’ve provided both short & long term care for multiple cats and am available for dog walking. About: I’m an undergraduate environmental science student at Portland State. I recently worked as a student research technician, handling and tracking frogs and documenting their habitats. My family has had our fair share of dogs and cats over the years, which contributed to my love for animals and the outdoors. I’ve cared for the pets and houses of friends and family since 2023, checking in throughout the day to provide meals and quality playtime. --- I enjoy figuring out how to build a true connection with animals, some more unique than others. My family has two cats with very distinct personalities: Evy, our affectionate 13 year old, and Sophie, our 2 year old feisty tortie. We rescued Sophie as a 3 week old kitten, and she began experiencing seizures at just 9 weeks old. This was a scary and confusing time, involving many emergency vet visits. She is now healthy and happy, on a strict schedule requiring medicine by mouth every 12 hours. Each pet I’ve been lucky to have has taught me something, and I’ve had to learn from her the most. She is a high maintenance kitty who doesn’t like pets. She shows her affection in unconventional ways, and I wouldn’t have it any other way :-) Please message me if you're curious about booking me on a date I have marked as unavailable. Though I've marked weekdays starting in late September as unavailable for the time being due to classes starting, I may still be able to provide services. My goal is to spend quality time with your pet(s) and work with you to figure out a schedule that works best for them. I'm available for walks, overnight stays, and/or check-ins throughout the day depending on their needs. I'm most compatible with pets who can be left alone for 4-8 hours, as I have personal responsibilities and may need to walk a dog or check in with someone else's pets (or my own!). --- My current nightly rates are intended for 12 hour care (ex: 6 PM to 6 AM, 8 PM to 8 AM, etc.) and 2-4 drop in visits throughout the day, depending on your need and my availability. Please feel free to message me if you have questions, concerns, or if your pet requires more intensive or constant care. I'll do my best make it work! I'd love to meet with you first and get to know your furry family to see if I'm a good fit for them. I enjoyed walking my dog 2-3 times per day in the neighborhood or on local nature park trails. When caring for others' pets in the past, I'd typically check in 2-3 times a day to feed, play, and relax with them, watering plants as needed. While most have been considered low maintenance, I've gained much more intensive experience with my special needs cat Sophie. --- I appreciate schedules and/or written instructions so I can better adapt to your pet's needs, especially if they require medications or atypical care.
