I love cats and cats love me! It's true- I've shocked multiple friends by getting their skittish kitties to love me with little more than slow blinks and sweet talk. Got a velcro cat who needs tons of love and attention? I love giving pets and my lap's always open. Got a scaredy cat who needs their boundaries respected? I'll happily feed & water them but leave them be. Got something in the middle? Great, I love kitties of all ages and temperaments! I was trained as a wildlife biologist and veterinary assistant, so I'm comfortable drawing and administering pills, liquids, topical medications, and injections. I prefer to use minimal restraints when medicating cats, but I can make a good purrito if that keeps everyone safe and clam.

I do my best to let your pet lead our interactions- especially with cats. I pay attention to body language and don't force an interaction unnecessarily. As a house sitter, I'll do my best to keep your pets' regular schedule, and leave your home just as I found it. For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your cat is fed and watered, their litterbox clean, and if they let me I'll play with and pet them.

Loved having Samantha watch our cat (and fish!). She is super communicative, helpful, and sent lots of pictures of our cat while we were away. Our cat seemed to enjoy her company lots!
Samantha took great care of the girls. And we are impressed that even our “introvert” came out for pets. Thank you for the peace of mind in knowing that the girls were so well cared for and got to watch the birdies outside.
Samantha managed to win over my very shy cats and took great care of them while I was away.

Samantha was quite the cat whisperer with my three boys. Two of which don’t like anyone but me and one of them came to greet her the very first day during the “meet and greet” and there was no stopping that friendship from there! The youngest didn’t start coming out of his shell until near the end of the month-long cat-sit. Samantha also watered the property as needed so I wouldn’t come home to “Morticia’s garden” and while out there found a squirrel that had been blown out of his nest in a tree during a windstorm. Going above and beyond, Samantha kindly buried the poor thing in the garden. I would recommend Samantha as a sitter as I was very nervous leaving my three boys for a month and with the daily visits, pics and communications she quickly allayed my fears.
Thanks again, Samantha, for another great pet sit! We came home to two very happy cats. We really appreciate you keeping them company and helping maintain their routine while we were away.

Harmonogram
I work part time, mostly from home, so I have flexible hours to care for your cat. I can also bring my laptop and do work while keeping your kitty company, if needed.
