Alexis has been so good with Wilson, my greyhound. She honored all of my requests for him as greyhounds can be quite a different sort of breed than others. Her sense of care for animals is exactly what I was looking for and I would recommend Alexis to anyone who needs someone to take care of their pooch☺️👍🏻🐾.

About: I’m an undergraduate environmental science student at Portland State, currently on summer break. I recently worked as a student research technician, handling and tracking frogs and documenting their habitats. My family has had our fair share of dogs and cats over the years, which contributed to my love for animals and the outdoors. I’ve cared for the pets and houses of friends and family since 2023, checking in throughout the day to provide meals and quality playtime. --- I enjoy figuring out how to build a true connection with animals, some more unique than others. My family has two cats with very distinct personalities: Evy, our affectionate 13 year old, and Sophie, our 2 year old feisty tortie. We rescued Sophie as a 3 week old kitten, and she began experiencing seizures at just 9 weeks old. This was a scary and confusing time, involving many emergency vet visits. She is now healthy and happy, on a strict schedule requiring medicine by mouth every 12 hours. Each pet I’ve been lucky to have has taught me something, and I’ve had to learn from her the most. She is a high maintenance kitty who doesn’t like pets. She shows her affection in unconventional ways, and I wouldn’t have it any other way :-) Please message me if you're curious about booking me on a date I have marked as unavailable. Though I've marked weekdays starting in late September as unavailable for the time being due to classes starting, I may still be able to provide services. Otherwise, I'm on summer break so my schedule is quite open. I'm able to spend quality time with your pet(s) and can work with you to figure out a schedule that works best for them. I'm available for walks, overnight stays, and/or check-ins throughout the day depending on their needs. I'm most compatible with pets who can be left alone for 4-8 hours, as I have personal responsibilities and may need to walk a dog or check in with someone else's pets (or my own!). --- My current nightly rates are intended for 12 hour care (ex: 6 PM to 6 AM, 8 PM to 8 AM, etc.). Please feel free to message me if you have questions, concerns, or if your pet requires more intensive or constant care. I'll do my best make it work! I'd love to meet with you first and get to know your furry family to see if I'm a good fit for them. I enjoyed walking my dog 2-3 times per day in the neighborhood or on local nature park trails. When caring for others' pets in the past, I'd typically check in 2-3 times a day to feed, play, and relax with them, watering plants as needed. While most have been considered low maintenance, I've gained much more intensive experience with my special needs cat Sophie. --- I appreciate schedules and/or written instructions so I can better adapt to your pet's needs, especially if they require medications or atypical care.

About: I've been dog sitting for friends and family for over 7 years. I love dogs and love going on walks with them! I have experience with nervous dogs and higher energy dogs, I've dog-sat rescues, 1-year-olds with their bouncing off the walls, and seniors. I help my mom with in-home child care during the week from Monday to Thursday but I have free time outside of that. I usually can start the day by 7am but will start moving earlier if the dog needs it! I have a smaller fenced backyard with some dog neighbors. We have some guinea pigs in our home but they're upstairs in an elevated cage with a gate at the bottom of the stairs. The neighborhood has a variety of routes I can go on of different lengths to fit your dog's needs.

About: I have been around pets my entire life. I bring a kind and calming energy to pet care. I know how to read a dog/cats body language. This helps me develop a positive trusting relationship with your pet. I currently have a senior kitty cat who is 16 years old and have had pets in the past that needed daily medication. I work from home with minimal meetings. This gives me flexibility for pet care and checking in, even if it’s on short notice. I also can work from other locations if longer pet care is required. I will follow whatever your instructions are to a T. If there is something I need clarification on, I will always communicate with you first.

About: I’m a huge animal lover and truly enjoy caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I’m very dependable and trustworthy, and I treat every animal with the same love and care I would give my own. I also make sure pets stay on their normal routines and always keep owners updated so they know their pet is happy and safe. This and Uber Eats are my full time jobs. I will only be gone for a couple hours in the evening for Uber Eats some days and Sunday early afternoons I have church but other than that I’m available. I am very attentive to pet’s needs and listen closely to the owner’s instructions. No matter how big or small your animal is, dog or cat, I have unlimited patience and care.

About: I have experience working in a pet health care cooperation where I was able to develop skills in taking care of dogs and gain experience on what it is like to provide love and tender care. With the understanding that every dog is different I strive my best to cater to each of their needs. I am energetic but also know when it is best to take a break therefore I will always make sure each dog has fun and also plenty rest when need be. I am flexible, responsible, and most importantly caring. Futhermore, I am very communicative and will make sure to be prompt and present in a timely manner. I will make sure that I maximize every experience with every furry friend I encounter! I have a fully open schedule, as I stay at home to focus on my passion for caring for animals. This means your pet will receive consistent attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. Because I’m home full-time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, interactive play sessions, enrichment, fresh food and water, clean spaces, and lots of love. I’ll carefully follow your pet’s routine, including medications, feeding schedules, walks, and any special preferences. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and secure home where every pet receives individualized care and close supervision. Because I’m home full-time, your pet is rarely left alone and will enjoy plenty of attention, playtime, enrichment, and affection throughout the day. For boarding, I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. Cats have their own private rooms, giving them a quiet, stress-free space to relax and adjust at their own pace. My own pets are friendly and well-socialized, but they remain separate from boarding guests unless an introduction is specifically requested and appropriate. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special instructions you provide. I also take the time to understand each pet’s personality and body language, allowing me to respond appropriately to their individual needs and help them feel safe and secure. To give you peace of mind, I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet as if they were my own, creating a loving environment where they can relax, have fun, and feel at home while you’re away.

About: We care for your dog just like you would, giving extra love to help them as they adjust to their new surroundings. We love exercising them and caring for all their needs. We have raised little dogs and large dogs and we love both sizes equally. Our guests (your dog) will be treated just like you treat them at home. We lost our Otis several years ago. He was an integral part of our family. He suffered separation anxiety so we are familiar with the extra needs of this anxiety. We will provide love to your four legged fur baby as we did to our Otis and we will make our guest an integral part of our family. They will want to come back to Grammy and Gramps because they know how great they were loved during their stay with us . LET US LOVE YOUR DOG! We are home fulltime to care for your dog! We always have a meet and greet to learn more about the dog so they will feel more comfortable when staying with us. We have a fenced courtyard to let them explore. We use babygates to keep them from going up stairs if needed. We have parks close by to go for a walk.

About: I grew up with five dogs from small to large. And now I love the crap out of dogs. I'm known as the dog whisperer at the dog parks. Definitely will have lots of cuddles, chases around the house, and lots of dogs to play and socialize with. At home, the dogs will have the run of the home. And my dog will leave them alone. I generally have other dogs that get along well. I have a small fenced yard so they have free access to potty in the backyard as I leave the door open. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Generally I'll take the dogs on at least one 1.5mile jog per day. And then whatever rough housing they get into around the house Animals have free roam of the house. I have a fenced yard although it's small there is a doggy door so they can get in and out.

About: Hey, I'm Maia and I've been taking care of pets since the age of ten, I love all animals and personally have 3 cats but have also previously had two dachshunds. Throughout the years I've taken care of a multitude of animals from large golden retrievers to small rodents. I'm especially good with shy animals and I'm ready to take all the time it needs for your pet to trust me. No matter the size, age or personality I'm exited to get to know your furry friend and give them to the care they need! I'm currently a student out of state and am available during all brakes. During the summer and all major holidays I'm ready to give your pet my full and undivided attention. I love the outdoors and spend a majority of my time out of school hiking and taking runs thought the neighborhood and nearby nature. I love having company wether that be a friend or a furry pal. My three cats are fully indoors and get most of their energy out by playing with one another or running around the house with me. My yard is fully fenced in and I live in a very walkable neighborhood great for dogs. While I am well experienced with both cats and dogs I love to hear all your personal tips and tricks for your furry friend as you know them best!

we recently adopted our dog, Sunny, a GSD mix. since Erika has looked after my kitties in the past, i reached out to her to check on Sunny a couple of times last week, because i had a week jam packed with several lengthy final exams. Erika stopped by the day before the first walk to meet & greet with Sunny, and Sunny was completely disarmed within 30 mins. by the end of the visit, she was napping with her head in Erika’s lap. even though Sunny was scheduled for walks (and despite her positive behavior during their initial meet-up), Sunny had her own agenda and wasn’t agreeable to going on walks when the time came. she was anxious about a newer person without me around, and this made her more stubborn and standoffish. Erika adapted and still spent some time with Sunny. she recognized her boundaries and had more of a drop-in visit instead. this still gave Sunny a break from her crate to go potty and do whatever she needed to do. i’m planning to schedule some time soon for us to walk together to help Sunny build more trust with Erika.

Wendi went ABOVE and BEYOND for my Quinn. She met with me before the date so that Quinn could meet her and while Quinn is normally a one woman pup (me) she went to Wendi immediately and began bringing Wendi her toys to share. That has literally never happened before. Wendi also was flexible when my times needed to be adjusted. She communicated with me about how the drop ins and walks went and sent pictures. She also wrote a lovely note and created a water color of my Quinn. (not AI, she actually painted it) I highly recommend Wendi! I know my daughter plans to use her when she needs a dog walker/sitter next.

Haley has been a perfect fit for our 12 year old lab. Haley made sure she got her exercise but also allowed her to walk and smell at her pace. Haley was ever mindful of the pavement temp and ensured she was safe and did not get over heated. The constant communication, picture and videos were wonderful. Haley is now our go to dog walker and we would highly recommend her. We could not be happier.

She always sends lots of updates and pictures, which I really appreciate—it makes such a difference being able to see how happy and well cared for they are.
