About: I grew up in the country with many dogs in the family. My parents bred and showed champion Afghan Hounds as well as boarded other breeds of dogs. I have raised and cared for many amazing dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, salamanders and a gold fish named Charlie. My absolute love for all animals and my special bond with my 18 year old rescue, Fez, lead me to managing a local doggy daycare and boarding facility. I learned so much about all kinds of breeds and mixes, puppies and seniors, managing medications, nutrition, play time, and their beautiful personalities. What a wonderful experience that was! My deep love for dogs, hiking, the outdoors and the Oregon weather makes dog walking a true pleasure for me. I can take dogs to Forest Park or just around the neighborhood sidewalks and trails. I have a very flexible schedule and I am happy to take walks, pop in for a visit or look after in your home while you are away. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your best friend and taking great care of them. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around your routine. I love getting out there in the mornings but I am also happily available for walks in the afternoons and evenings until 7:00pm. Safety is the number one priority period. I have a very calming demeanor and can sense what my pet partner is feeling in their environment. My eyes and ears will be focused on your pet and our safety at all times inside or outside, staying 5 steps ahead with their care.
About: I've grown up with dogs, and taken care of them nearly my whole life. Each of the four dogs I've known best are rescues. They've certainly had their share of quirks and needs, but are lovely, loyal creatures. More recently, we've helped family, friends, and neighbors with their dogs. My 13-year old daughter Elise adores dogs of all shapes and sizes, and she's the motivation for sharing our home with more dogs. We also love small furry friends! We've recently enjoyed watching a sweet guinea pig and a dwarf hamster. I grew up with domesticated rats as pets - they were awesome! We're happy to watch small rodents anytime possible. I homeschool my four girls ages 11-17. They are all gentle with animals and provide lots of love for your sweet dog. We are home studying the majority of the time, and can flex for drop-off/pick-up. We have a large fenced yard that's very sturdy (the family recently rebuilt the fence). Inside our home there's a spacious downstairs and a gate to prevent access to the upstairs if needed.
“Anna is so great with our dogs! It was so easy to send her a message and then she was here just hours later. She even took them for a walk that same day. I really appreciate that they come back very tired and which makes our life easier. She takes wonderful care of our dogs!”

About: I have a busy home with a sweet & energetic German Shepherd, 10 year old daughter, and 14 year old son. We all love animals and enjoy playing and cuddling up when it's not too hot! I work from home most of the time so your pet(s) will get a lot of attention from our family and plenty of potty breaks. I work from home at least half of the time. I typically will be gone no more than 4 hours at a time. If I am gone more than 6 hours I will let you know, but this is not typical. My dog is a great playmate and your pet(s) will get plenty of attention and breaks outside. I have a decent sized home and can accommodate most requests. Your pet will have plenty of space inside and locally outdoors for potty breaks and play time. With 2 kids and a large dog, I am flexible to meet you and your pets needs!
“Sydney is the best. She’s incredibly reliable and flexible. My schedule has changed several times and she’s been able to accommodate. Jango is so excited to see her every time she stops by & he’s always gets a good amount of energy out while in her care.”

About: I’ve owned a dog and a cat for my whole life. I have also taken care of friends dogs and have had great experience. I love animals and I get along with dogs quite well. I currently am not working, I will have a lot of free time to take care of your pups! I go on plenty of walks every day, having a furry friend to join would make my day even better. I have a large backyard with lots of nature and big green space to play in. My house is dog friendly and equipped for you pup to have a great time.
“Delaney is amazing! She’s very communicative and took great pics and an awesome video of my dog. She is also diligent about making sure both the dog and the owner feel comfortable from the start with the meet and greet. I know I can trust her with Ollie’s care. Highly recommend her services :)”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for my own dogs. I have a 4-year-old Golden Retriever named Chanel who’s a big part of my family. Two years ago, she had a litter of puppies, which gave me experience caring for dogs in all stages of life—from newborn puppies to active adults. I’ve also had another Golden before her, so I’m very familiar with their personalities, energy levels, and care needs. Being around dogs has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I’m patient, reliable, and will treat your dog like my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved on every walk. I’m happy to follow your routine and provide updates so you feel at ease while your pup is in my care 🐾 I’m a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and dedicate quality time and attention to each dog I care for. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins throughout the day, and I can easily adjust to your dog’s routine and needs. I have my very own doggy! She is crate trained so I’m familiar with that if needed! She’s my very best friend so I know how important one’s pet can be! I will care for your pet as if it were my own!
About: I have been around animals, both dogs and cats, for most of my life, so I know what goes into taking care of them (even the ones who need a little extra help). I am currently freelance and remote, so I am able to change my schedule around to suite the needs of both you and your pet. I am able to travel to your home either overnight or for drop-in care whenever needed. I will follow all set rules about whatever space I use to a T.

“Erika is our best dog walker. We’ve hired several people that were late and cut walking time short. Erika was always on time and walked our dog the duration we asked for. She is very friendly and can tell loves dogs.”

“Alyssa was punctual and patient with our pup, who is usually very slow to trust people. By the end of their first walk it looked like the start of a great friendship between the two of them. We will definitely be reaching out to Alyssa again.”

“Your dogs always know, don't they ? They tell you. Just watch them. What a difference a sitter makes! Her presence transformed him . My old boy was ignored and sad , "laying all by his lonesome" in the kitchen while I recovered from surgery. I ask the sitter , "where is he? " She doesn't know . Fast forward to his wagging tail with Allison. He sits patiently for 45 minutes because it's time for her to come walk him! His lethargic depression vanished ,and he trotted to sit outside the bathroom to wait for her. When I struggled from my recovery bed to look for him in his lonely spot in the kitchen, he was no longer there. He was up in bed with Allison. No shame to his game ! My guilt vanished to see all three of them were so lovingly cared by her They know when they are loved and they love in return. Allison is an absolutely wonderful pet sitter. I could not ask for a kinder person. She is so sensitive to each of my dogs temperaments. She is meticulous in recording everything that happens on their walks. She sends me photos throughout the walks. She is dependable and always shows up on time. She has been so flexible in working with me around my surgery and recovery and I have learned to absolutely trust my three fur babies with her. You could not do better than Allison.”

About: I'm a cat and dog lover, and I can't wait to meet your companion! I grew up with multiple pets as a child and loved having fur babies as part of the family. Through high school and college I took care of pets for multiple people on a regular basis. I'll be there to give your cat cuddles, play time, any medications, and the space they need. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they get all the belly rubs. I also have experience giving dogs medication and transporting by car. I'm currently working from home with a flexible schedule, so I can pop in when your fur baby needs me. Shoot me a message and we can meet up! For both cats and dogs I allow them to come to me at their own pace and ensure they're comfortable at home. I enjoy learning their routines, favorite toys, and walking routes. I'm also comfortable feeding, changing out water, giving medication. As part of maintaining a clean space for them, I’m experienced with both litter box upkeep and cleaning up after dogs during walks.
Five Oaks dog parents share their Rover experiences
We’ve had an amazing experience with our dog walker! She is incredibly communicative, reliable, and truly goes the extra mile every time. Han and Chewie absolutely adore her, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. She always sends lots of updates and pictures, which I really appreciate—it makes such a difference being able to see how happy and well cared for they are. While I was away, one of my dogs wasn’t feeling well, and she took extra care and attention to make sure he was comfortable and looked after. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to me. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring. We will definitely continue to use her!

Mara has been an incredible dog walker, and we truly can’t recommend her enough. Her communication is always clear, timely, and thoughtful, and she asks great questions to make sure she fully understands each dog’s needs and preferences. She takes the time to do a meet and greet to ensure it’s a good fit for everyone, which we really appreciated. After each walk, she sends updates and photos, which gives us so much peace of mind and something to look forward to. Mara is consistently honest, reliable, and takes her work very seriously—especially when it comes to entering clients’ homes and caring for their pets, which is so important. We trust her wholeheartedly with our pups, and it’s obvious they feel comfortable and happy with her too. She is truly exceptional.

Anna has been walking my two dogs weekly while I am at work and there is no one else I would trust more! Both of my pups can be a little chaotic, but Anna is truly the sweetest and has so much patience with them. She is very attentive and will adjust each walk to accommodate their moods or the weather to ensure she is maximizing their time together and giving them the best experience. I have such peace of mind on the days she comes by, if I could pay her to come every day I would! Thank you Anna! 💗

Corey has been a lifesaver for my pug, Poppy, and me! She walks her 4 days a week and brings her son, Luke, with her which I love because Poppy's rarely around kids (plus, I know that between Corey and Luke, Poppy is getting a good dose of exercise during their visits). I am so grateful that they take such good care of my girl (and she captures great photos of her!). Thank you, Corey (and Luke)!

Katherine was so wonderful with my girl Hazel. The weather was not great but she took her out in her raincoat, dried her off after their pretty wet walk and even played with her after to get more energy out. I'm so excited to have such a great option for when I can't take Hazel out myself.
