About: Due to issues with marking, I will only sit female dogs. I have two small rescue dogs of my own - both are under 15 pounds and gentle and playful with one another. I'll pamper your dog just as I do my own with plenty of cuddles, a calm environment and a fenced yard for potty breaks. I have extensive experience with dogs on med schedules and special dietary needs. When not out to potty - your dog will be with me - indoors. I am Sixty Seven years of age and a responsible homeowner. There are no children living in or visiting my home. Having your pet in my home is a privilege and I will always provide the optimum care for your pet. Please come visit me! Plenty of love and attention will be given to your pet. Walks, playtime & fetch. Unless provided a crate, your dog will sleep with me and my two small dogs, unless owner requests they be crated, or the breed or age of pet makes sleeping on a bed inadvisable. Effective 7/27/21: Any medical needs, special diet or requirements, a written list of that/those condition(s) is required. DROP OFF: BEFORE 9am PICKUP: 8:30pm-10:00pm. Mon-Fri DROP OFF & PICKUP BEFORE NOON - Sat & Sun Pets are alone from 3:30pm to 8:30pm M-F I have a 4,000 sq ft back yard. it is completely fenced and secure. I have owned my home for 19 years. During that time, absolutely no chemicals have been used. I do NOT ever leave dogs outside longer than 10 minutes. I feed the dogs at 7am and 6pm. Dogs will sleep on my bed unless owner provides a crate and prefers to crate their dog at night. I do NOT crate dogs during the day or while not at home. Dogs are allowed on all furniture.

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I've had cats and dogs growing up my whole life. I was the primary caregiver, trainer and best friend. I also took care of many of the neighbors cats and dogs while they were away. And their farm animals as well. Also have experience from the Army training tracking and guard dogs. I am a retired latter carrier and a disabled Army Veteran. I have all the time in the world to devote to caring for your pets when needed. Particularly with dogs during the day. Walking is great for your dog and gets me the exercise that I need. It's a win-win. And it's a plus that I get the hang around with dogs. , i currently do not have dogs or cats of my own. I do live in an apartment but I'm close to many parks and trails. I'm available for a client's home sitting as well and will always abide by the wishes of the client for their pets.

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs my entire life. I loved my childhood dogs whole heartedly through their years and was a primary member in their care when they were seniors. Recently, my family adopted a puppy as well, so I am comfortable with working with young dogs who need more attention and training. I am very familiar with regular day to day at home dog care as well as paying attention while dog walking for distractions, other dogs, or safety concerns. I am currently in pharmacy school on rotations, usually from Monday through Friday during the morning to the afternoon. I am usually available all day during Saturdays and Sundays and if you’re in a pinch and need someone during evenings on weekdays, message me and I’ll let you know if I can help you out! I can usually respond by the end of the day. I will not be able to offer day care in my home as my family recently adopted a puppy. However, as someone who has owned both a big and a small dog, I am very conscious on keeping spaces clear and doors closed to avoid dogs getting into anything they shouldn’t be. Further, I am very comfortable with schedules and taking dogs out to go to the bathroom frequently if need be, either on a leash or letting them out into a fenced in backyard.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have experience with many different breeds of dogs and seniors. I have been known to refer to, as well as treat dogs like my own children. If you choose me to hang out with your dog I will treat them like my own best friend. I also have some experience with cats. Mostly just the basics; feeding, playing, and cleaning/changing out the litter box. I take and follow instructions very well, and if you invite me into your home to take care of your pet I will respect your space and your belongings. I recently moved to Oregon with my partner for his job. My schedule is wide open to take on both regular and one time clients. I will follow all instructions left to care for your pet. It’s very hard for me to leave my dog so I understand the trust that is placed in me to take care of your animal while you’re away. I can send updates and pictures if you’d like. At this moment I can’t bring animals into my home but that could change in the future.

About: I'm a cat and dog lover, and I can't wait to meet your companion! I grew up with multiple pets as a child and loved having fur babies as part of the family. Through high school and college I took care of pets for multiple people on a regular basis. I'll be there to give your cat cuddles, play time, any medications, and the space they need. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they get all the belly rubs. I also have experience giving dogs medication and transporting by car.
