About: Hi, I’m Andrea! I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and I’ll care for yours like they’re part of my own little crew. I’m a wedding and family photographer, and I share my home with a sweet corgi named Frankie and a cat named Becky. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work from home, so your dog will enjoy plenty of neighborhood walks, lots of cuddle time during the day, and fun play sessions in the backyard! Spacious/ quiet home, no kids, fenced yard. I live with an energetic corgi who loves to play to fetch. I also have a very chill cat who likes to watch what is going on.

I work three days a week and keep an open schedule to care for others’ animals the other four days in the week! I have a flexible schedule and can even help on the days I am scheduled at my main job! About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!

About: I grew up around dogs and have had large dogs of my own. This taught me how to care for dogs of all temperaments and how to get to know each dogs preferred walking and play style. I enjoy getting to know each pets rhythms and keeping them conformable as they get their daily exercise. I also offer attentive drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, litter box care, and companionship to help pets feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I provide dependable dog walking and drop-in pet care in Santa Monica for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I have experience with both puppies and senior pets, and I’m comfortable adapting care to each animal’s routine, personality, and needs. Outside of Rover, I’m a wildlife rescue volunteer and foster parent to cats, which has given me hands-on experience with animals from a wide range of backgrounds and temperaments. Whether it’s regular dog walking in Santa Monica or reliable drop-in visits, I prioritize safety, consistency, and making sure every pet feels secure and cared for. I am currently on a gap summer before continuing my education, and enjoy pet sitting as a way to save up some money for school between volunteering and working on my summer research project. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and trusting environment for every pet in my care. I take the time to get to know each animal so I can provide care that is tailored to their individual needs, routines, and personality. I care for every pet as if they were my own, always paying attention to their comfort, behavior, and well-being.
