Our pup isn’t the easiest because she’s young, large, and high energy. Angelica has no problem managing her, keeping her training up, and even sending her home with better manners. She’s also very diligent in finding playmates and making sure she socializes appropriately with the other pups. It is a relief to find someone that can take not only take care of your pup, but also :care: about them. Angelica does both and we could not be more at ease knowing our pup is with her!”

Rie asked all the right questions before taking him in, and sent loads of pictures along with updates while I was away, which I sincerely appreciated and didn’t know I needed until I got them. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I’ve had a love for animals my whole life, I’ve had cats and dogs since I was born and currently have 5 pets at home! (2 dogs 3 cats) I have been house sitting my pets for a few years while my parents go out of town, and have also helped a few family friends with their pets. I have dealt with untrained dogs, high maintenance dogs, seniors, puppies, and urinary issues. I’m currently working part-time from 5-9pm. Before then, I will have all day to tend to your pets and let them out for some exercise and potty breaks. When I do run errands, I am never gone for more than 3 hours at a time. For dog walking, I am able to walk however far your dog needs to ensure they get the right amount of exercise. For sitting, I will make sure your pet gets let out for potty breaks and the proper amount of care during the day, whether it is a walk or a small training exercise. For drop in visits, I will tend to whatever your pet needs during that visit.

While my passion is for dogs that does not mean I don't also love cats and have never been without one for a pet. My experience also includes caring for reptiles, rodents, pigs and even primates! My most fulfilling work was my time working as an animal health technician in an animal shelter. It brought me pure heartbreak and pure joy. It was so sad to see what conditions brought the animals to the shelter but was also rewarding knowing that I was making a difference in their lives. During my time working in shelters, I gained experience interacting with both shy dogs and aggressive dogs and am comfortable with both. While I've always had pets, I stepped away from working with animals to work in health care some years ago. I really miss the interaction with animals and caring for them. It is my one true passion. I feel I have an instinct into how an animal is feeling and am able to meet that need. I will always make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. I'm currently working part-time in health care so have plenty of time open to care for your pet. I mostly have afternoons, evenings and weekends available. While in your home I will take all measures to ensure that your pet is safe and secure. We will leave no doors open and will always have a dog on a leash before walking out the door.
About: I have a busy home with a sweet & energetic German Shepherd, 10 year old daughter, and 14 year old son. We all love animals and enjoy playing and cuddling up when it's not too hot! I work from home most of the time so your pet(s) will get a lot of attention from our family and plenty of potty breaks. I work from home at least half of the time. I typically will be gone no more than 4 hours at a time. If I am gone more than 6 hours I will let you know, but this is not typical. My dog is a great playmate and your pet(s) will get plenty of attention and breaks outside. I have a decent sized home and can accommodate most requests. Your pet will have plenty of space inside and locally outdoors for potty breaks and play time. With 2 kids and a large dog, I am flexible to meet you and your pets needs!

I've grown up with dogs, my family has never NOT had a dog. Dogs will tell you in their own way what they need, and I listen! I come with a flexible schedule as Im working part-time right now :) Most weekdays I am free for your needs! Weekends mostly late afternoons or nights. Please message me beforehand. I always have my phone charged and on my person, if you wanted updates on your pets or have questions regarding their care. If you have special instructions for how you like your animal to be treated, I'll always adhere to your preferences. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 18 years old. Cut to 10 years later, I still have a special place in my heart for dogs and cats. I have done overnight sits, countless walks, check ins, and traveling with both pets! I’m a full time student and working part time, however, both of these duties are remote. I prefer walking in the morning or afternoon. Currently, I can do every day with some Saturday’s being reserved. Our pup isn’t the easiest because she’s young, large, and high energy. Angelica has no problem managing her, keeping her training up, and even sending her home with better manners. She’s also very diligent in finding playmates and making sure she socializes appropriately with the other pups. It is a relief to find someone that can take not only take care of your pup, but also :care: about them. Angelica does both and we could not be more at ease knowing our pup is with her!”
