“Alina was so great! At the last minute my husband and I realized that we wouldn’t have cell service while we were camping when Alina would be taking care of our cats. Since this was the first time Alina was sitting for us AND it was in our new home where we weren’t completely sure how easy it would be for a new person to navigate it (or how the cats would do with us gone for the first time), we were worried about not being available for Alina to contact and update us. We asked if she could communicate with my mom instead since we have a satellite communicator with my mom and she could relay messages to us. Despite all those complications (including our cat Romeo needing oral medication twice a day), everything went really well. Alina handled the last minute changes easily, communicated thoroughly with my mom, helped us feel at ease and when we came home our cats seemed relaxed and happy. We’re grateful for Alina’s care!”

I've raised kittens, helped care for senior cats, and managed aggressive or standoffish cats. About: 🐾 My Daily Pet Care Routine I provide a comfortable, loving, and structured environment for every dog in my care. I work to follow each pet parent’s normal routine as closely as possible while making sure their pup receives plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, and affection throughout their stay. 🌅 Morning: Our first outdoor potty break is typically between 7:00–8:00 AM. ☀️ Lunch: Around lunchtime, we head outside for a good walk and potty break, giving your pup an opportunity to stretch their legs, explore, and get some fresh air. 🍽️ Dinner: Dinner and another outdoor break are typically around 6:00–7:00 PM. I will always follow your preferred feeding schedule and instructions. 🌙 Bedtime: We have one final walk and potty break between approximately 8:00–10:00 PM before settling in for the night. 🐕 On-Site Dog Park My apartment community has an on-site dog park, which gives us another convenient option for potty breaks, outdoor time, and play. The space may be especially comfortable for smaller breeds, although I regularly see dogs of different sizes using it for quick outdoor and potty breaks. About: Hi there! I've been taking care of animals since I was young. Growing up on a farm gave me all the experience with all sorts of different animals. Here in the Portland metro area I take care of mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional chicken or two! Your furry, or feathery, friends will be treated with gentle care and compassion as all creatures need! I currently only work as a sitter so your friends and pet family will have my undivided attention and care. I am available every day each week and especially on holidays! For dogs that will be staying either daycare or overnight, there is a large doggie area at the back of my complex. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.
“Allen has been the best caretaker for my Mini-Aussie, Mikka! We had a very thorough meet-and-greet for all questions and to meet his beautiful pup, Kaya. Mikka has spent the day with them 2 times now while I go to work and Mikka is now "a regular" every week. She has developed few anxiety issues during the pandemic and can be a bit reactive around other dogs, so I've been very hesitant about doggy day care in any other capacity, but Allen has listened to my concerns and been extremely careful with keeping an eye on her or introducing her to any other dog he's watching or who is using the magical little private gated dog park behind his house. He's been super helpful in correcting some of her behavior issues (like a very loud persistent bark that has made me crazy!), sends photos and updates frequently, and is very quick to communicate even in between stays. I'm so relieved my anxious dog is getting playtime and has such good care that I can trust every Tuesday, and she's making new dog friends finally. Thank you, Allen!”

I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, dogs with medical conditions and allergies, and dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to Bernese mountain dogs. I used to dog sit and do dog walks for several of my neighbors. About: Having grown up on a farm I have been around animals my entire life. My favorite have always been dogs and cats. I have taken animal care and vet sciences in 4H and volunteered in an animal shelter. I can't imagine life without animals, they add so much joy to life. I currently work part time as a caregiver for seniors. Most of my days are 4 to 6 hours long with weekends off. I have a flexible schedule . Since my schedule is flexible I can adjust to you pets needs well so they are being fed and walked at their regular times to help reduce stress.

“Kris was great with my two pups! He provided updates during the stay and was comfortable with my dog’s medication at mealtime. I was glad there was a fenced in yard in addition to walks and dog parks in the neighborhood for exercise and socializing.”

“Brittany and her husband were amazing. They made our pup, Alaska, super comfortable from the initial meet and greet and let her roam around their house. You can tell how much they love dogs and they treated her like their own. Alaska has a ton of energy and they kept her busy with lots of playtime and walks and they even did some training. She’s very observant of all of Alaska’s habits and asked really great question to really establish the best stay for Alaska. Brittany stayed in contact and sent photos and videos throughout Alaska’s stay which made me feel super assured that my pup was not only safe, but legitimately having the time of her life. I highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again.”
