“Ron is great with Mima! She is a senior and isn't usually very comfortable staying away from me but every time I take her to Ron's house she walks in without looking back! Leaving her with Ron gives me peace and everytime I pick her up she is happy. :) Whenever we need boarding for Mima, Ron is right at the top of our list! Thank you so much, Ron!!”

“Sending your dog to spend time with Paula is like sending your dog to the spa for the weekend. Our Lola was spoiled, rotten and got lots of love and attention. I would recommend Paula to anyone that’s looking for a safe and loving place to send their fur baby.”

“Barbara was wonderful! My dog took to her right away which made leaving her for 4 days less stressful! Everything went smoothly and when I picked her up she was happy and well taken care of! Thank you Barbara!”

“This family took great care of our dog and hamster, I highly recommend. I received pictures throughout our time away and updates on how the animals were doing. I will contact them for our next vacation away from home.”

“Stephanie was great! Bean enjoyed his stay and was well cared for. Stephanie periodically sent photos of Bean showing him interacting with the other dogs. It was clear that he bonded well with Stephanie and the pack of little dogs in her home.”

“Manisha and her family took really great care of our dog, Thaddeus. We love receiving all the pictures or him having a good time. We'll definitely be asking Manisha to watch Thaddeus again.”

“Our pup had a wonderful stay! Lajetta sent tons of pictures of our dog while we were away and was super responsive to texts. We will definitely try and book her again in the future!”

“Laura has a heart of gold and it’s evident she has a huge place in her heart for dogs. I immediately felt comfortable leaving my pup with her. She kept in contact, sending me videos and pictures daily. She was very accommodating and even arranged for a later than expected pick-up & drop-off. Thank you so much Laura!”

“Huge thank you to Peter and family for taking amazing care of Rosie! We needed a last second sitter and they were amazing to coordinate with. The communication and pictures were great during our absence and our dog was very happy after being there. Would definitely rebook!”

“Our two, very large, bloodhounds had a wonderful stay. They were clearly well cared for and came home happy. We would love to bring them back in the future! The communication was positive, timely and thoughtful! Great overall experience!”

“Sandy was amazing. My dog is scared meeting new people and going to new places but she had the perfect system to slowly aclimate him to the new environment. When it was time to finally pick him up, he was excited to get back home, but he still went back to sit at Sandy's feet. Sandy was the perfect match for my dog and I will definitely be bringing him back again!”

“Allison was really easy to work with. Her and her family took good care of my dog and responded timely with updates when I checked in. I would gladly work with her again in the future.”

“Super loving family for our dood. He’s a people person, Michelle & Daniel were his people. Got in walks, lots of attention & great backyard space to hang outside. He settled right in.”

“This was the first time I was away from Toby, who I rescued about 2 1/2 months ago. The stay could not have gone any better! I received a daily series of photos that made me smile! They are a caring couple who went beyond the call of duty in taking care of Toby.”

“Our pooch felt very comfortable with Yvonne and Sam and their dogs. They walked her daily with their dogs and gave her lots of attention and love. They sent pictures and stories every day to keep us updated. We hope we can use them again!”

West Slope dog parents share their Rover experiences
Stacy was awesome! We were looking for a new boarder, so were nervous about how it would go. She set up a meet and greet to show us the house and yard, and made sure that our pups were introduced to the dogs in her care. She sent photos during their stay along with insightful updates on their behavior and interactions with other dogs. This let us know she was invested in their comfort during their stay. We will definitely leave them with Stacy again.

Im so happy that we found Michelle! We had never used Rover before (and were a bit nervous to try it) and found ourselves needing last minute boarding for our dog. Michelle saved the day and from the start I knew that our dog was going to be in good hands. Our dog quickly took to Michelle and from the pictures we received we know that he was so happy with them. She also handled his medications and medical needs with such ease. We would recommend Michelle to anyone with pet needs and will definitely use them again!

Tom watched our dog Winnie while we were on a 10-day vacation. Winnie is a shy and slightly skiddish pup, and Tom understood that and gave her the care she needed. He sent us regular updates and photos which was much appreciated. I recommend Tom and plan to board with him again. Thank you Tom!

Hannah & Spencer did an excellent job caring for my pup Roo! They sent photos each day which I enjoyed. They were very responsive throughout the stay and I could tell Roo had a great time when I picked her up. She seemed very comfortable and at home with them which always feels nice. I will definitely look to use them again on my next trip.

Elizabeth has been a godsend this week and I could not have dreamed up a better pet-sitter than she and her lovely family have been for our new baby, Ella! Ella and Elizabeth's own pups became best buddies instantly and Ella is being provided with wonderful, safe, observed socialization and new experiences as she's been able to spend time in a home with a variety of ages and sizes of both two and four-legged family members. Elizabeth obviously has incredible experience as she has been both a mom to her own as well as foster pups through One Tail at a Time. I'm so grateful to April at OTAT for recommending Elizabeth to us and the peace of mind it's provided knowing that my new rescue baby is in great care on days when I can't be with her myself, and for the wonderful life experiences it's providing to Ella in these so important first few months of her development, growth and learning phase of life.

Paula is the BEST DOG SITTER! We have a mixed breed puppy (just over a year now), and she has so much energy- but always seems happy/tired when she comes home. Paula is very kind and attentive- and you can immediately tell is a dog lover. Everyone should want someone like her watching their pup while they are away.

Dylan has been wonderful with Smokey. This was our third time leaving Smokey in his care, and once again, he exceeded all expectations. He kept Smokey at his home and treated him like his own, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. What really stood out was the consistent updates—Dylan shared photos and videos throughout the five days, so we always knew Smokey was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It’s clear he loves dogs and pays attention to their needs. We couldn’t ask for a better sitter and feel very fortunate to have found him. Highly recommend Dylan to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable.
