I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves.

Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

Please let me know any behavioral issues about your dog: how is your dog on leash? With other dogs? Is your dog aggressive, frightened of strangers or other animals? We feed our dogs twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, and water is available at all times. Does your dog have special dietary needs? Is your dog housebroken? Crate trained? We're home all day but if we need to make a run to the store for something, how is your dog if left alone for an hour at at time?

We have two small doggie playmates, a large fenced back yard and live near walking trails and Greenway Park in Beaverton. There's a lovely half-hour walk we take our doggies on every day.

If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023.
