“Ron did a wonderful job caring for our dog, Henry, and was great about administering the special eye medication our guy requires. This was the second time we’ve left Henry with Ron and both times he seemed happy and comfortable there. There’s a big back yard to sniff around in and a comfy couch for lounging. Ron’s calm demeanor really made Henry feel at home, and Henry came home happy and in great shape. We will definitely contact Ron for any future dog sitting needs!”
“Allison was really easy to work with. Her and her family took good care of my dog and responded timely with updates when I checked in. I would gladly work with her again in the future.”

“It was Bella’s first time staying here, and she had such a great time. I felt so happy and reassured knowing she was in good hands. Thank you for taking great care of her”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter for our elderly dog. They gave him all the love and attention a little old man could have asked for. We will definitely use them again.”

“Yvonne and Sam took such wonderful care of Delilah! They have a lovely home and backyard perfect for sitting and treated her like one of their own. I got lots of updates, pictures, video, and she asked lots of questions to make sure everything went smoothly. Deli is nervous around strangers but warmed up super fast and was clearly having a great time on walks and getting all the snuggles she wanted. It was great having my mind at ease while on vacation!”

“Barbara is a really warm person who my dog took a shine to right away. I was very comfortable leaving my little buddy with her and it sounds like they had a great time 🙂”

“Stephanie is amazing! Our dog has diabetes and went blind due his condition. We did an overnight stay to see how he would do at her house and he did awesome. She was gave him his insulin shots and made sure he was able to find his way around her very dog friendly home. She is Oscar’s new home away from home”
“This family took great care of our dog and hamster, I highly recommend. I received pictures throughout our time away and updates on how the animals were doing. I will contact them for our next vacation away from home.”

“Kris was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was very sensitive to my puppy’s needs and had a very clearly loving and entertaining home for my dog. He didn’t even want to come home with me, that’s all you need to know.”

“We couldn't be happier with Andy's care for our two dogs during our time away! Our elderly pomeranian, who has limited mobility and decreased vision, requires extra attention and patience, and Andy provided just that. She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous in making sure our senior pup was comfortable and happy, even going the extra mile when he wasn't eating very well. She worked with him to ensure he got the nutrition he needed, which really eased our minds. Our 1-year-old puppy also had a blast with Andrea, and we could see from the daily updates and photos she sent that both dogs were well-loved and cared for. We truly appreciated the time and attention she gave to each of them, and the peace of mind she provided us while we were away. We wholeheartedly trusted Andrea with both of our dogs, and we will definitely be reaching out to her again the next time we need a sitter. Highly recommend her!”

“Katie was fantastic. This was a great first time user experience. During the meet and greet, Katie's easygoing attitude made me comfortable with leaving my fairly new adopted dog in her care. The fact that she showed a clear understanding of hound dog behavior was the icing on the cake. She was very flexible with my schedule change on drop off and pickup. She went above and beyond by letting me pick my doggo up at a really late hour of the day. Her quick pics and updates on Chloe during her stay was just right. Chloe was very happy with her experience and we will definitely use Katie in the future! Thank you for taking care of Chloe!”

“We will always bring our fur baby, Luna, to Aleisha & family. She’s always so excited to see them & happy when we pick her up. We love all the photos they send & communication is always great. Lunas home away from home. 🥰”

“Melani was great taking care of CalCal my goldendoodle. We met up beforehand to make sure my dog would get along with her dog. She sent many photos during the boarding. Would use her again; thanks Melani!”

“Aliina is amazing!! She took amazing care of our pup Zion and provided great pupdates & photos while we were on our trip. Zion was happy and cared for. Thanks again!”

““We’re so grateful to Emma for taking such wonderful care of Puff. Before the stay, she even scheduled a meet-and-greet to make sure Puff was comfortable and to go over everything he might need—food schedule, rules, medications, and emergency contacts. Throughout his stay, she kept me updated with thoughtful messages and great photos of Puff looking happy and relaxed on walks. Communication was excellent—Emma was responsive, flexible with scheduling, and very accommodating at both drop-off and pick-up. Puff came home calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. Emma created a warm, family environment that made Puff feel right at home. She truly went the extra mile to make sure we both felt secure and confident, and I know Puff is already looking forward to his next visit!”

“Jill took amazing care of our Vizsla Ruby. We loved seeing the photos and updates each day! Jill made sure Ruby was comfortable and had lots of activity including outings to the park and going on runs. I also appreciate how quickly Jill responded to messages. Thanks Jill!”

“Ashley was wonderful with my cat! She responded to my messages promptly and was considerate in taking care of him. She posts great photos and check-ins too. I know I can trust her the next time I need a pet sitter!”

“Mary Anne took excellent care of our cats while we were out of the country for 9 days! She always included lots of photos and detailed each thing she did during the visit. She is responsive and engaged and we were able to relax knowing everything was fine at home. We would work with Mary Anne again with no hesitation!”

“This was my first time using Rover after my cat now requires more attention due to her health. I was super nervous leaving her with someone I didn’t know, but Rachel was super kind and supportive and her daily drop in visit logs made me feel so comfortable to read and know that my cat was doing okay and that she was in good hands with someone that was so kind.”

“I cannot recommend Rie highly enough. To be honest, I was really nervous about using Rover for the first time. I am extremely protective of my cats, and I do not trust easily when it comes to their care. But Rie completely changed that for me. From the very beginning, she was kind, understanding, and so good at putting both me and my cats at ease. She truly understands not only pets with anxiety but also anxious pet parents, and that made all the difference. Throughout the entire stay, she sent me daily updates and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. My cats were clearly comfortable in her home and with her pets, and seeing them relaxed and happy made me feel so relieved. When my flight was delayed, she was incredibly flexible and accommodating, which I deeply appreciated. Rie went above and beyond in every way, and I can honestly say I trust her completely now. For someone like me who does not trust anyone with my fur babies, that says everything. She treated my cats with the delicate care and love I give them myself. If you are on the fence, do not be. Your pets will be in amazing hands with Rie. She is a gem, and I am so grateful I found her.”

“Rachel is fantastic. She took care of our elderly high need cats while we were away. She dispensed medications, fed special meals and gave lots of love. We got pictures with each visit and she even hand washed the little bowls for food. She is providing us with the freedom to travel again even with special needs cats!”

“Felt very comfortable having Gretchen watch over our cat. He is very shy and fearful but she took care of all of his needs and kept us informed daily. She seems very professional and caring and we will definitely book with her again.”

“Our cats loved Jurick! They warmed up to him easily and he took his time and was patient with our most skittish cat. He was prompt on time everyday. Highly recommend!”

“We love Sam! This is our third time having her sit our cats. She has bonded with them so well and it's a relief knowing someone they recognize is taking care of them. Also, she always takes care of our tortoise for us, no questions asked. Thank you, Sam!”

About: I have taken care of and grown up with cats all my life. I have never not lived with a cat since I can remember. I am great at noticing body language and understanding what steps I need to take to make sure your cat feels loved and cared for
“We are extremely grateful for Kelly's help! Our kitties had a great time with her. Kelly sent us photo and video updates. We could relax having complete peace of mind and knowing that our furry babies are in good hands! Thank you, Kelly!!!”
“Jessica was great in handling and caring for our Maine Coon male cat who has anxiety issues when we leave town for a while. Communication was excellent including daily photos and an occasional video. Highly recommended!”

“Olivia was a fantastic and very appreciated resource to watch my cat Otto during a recent multi-day drop in visit that was needed. She provided lots of attention and love to Otto giving everything I wished for him while I was gone including lots of playtime, feeding supplements, sharing pictures and all the cuddles. I hope to absolutely use her again for the next time I will be out of town and need someone to drop-in.”

“Ian was great taking care of our cats! We appreciated the thorough updates and lots of pictures. Our girls enjoyed playtime with him and were very comfortable”

“This was our first time hiring a pet sitter, let alone using Rover. We had considered hiring two other sitters previously, but decided against it because of poor communication or no shows. We found Brittaney and it was immediately a breath of fresh air. 🙏 She responded quickly, we were able to book with her last minute, she communicated in friendly, caring, and professional manner. While we were away, she sent us all kinds of pictures, spent time really trying to bond with our cats, and truly made us feel like they were in great hands. Not only is Brittaney excellent at what she does, but you can truly tell she has a passion for loving animals. I’d very much hire Brittaney again, and plan on it when the need arises. 🙏🙏”

“Katie took such good care of my cat, Dolly, while I was away for 10 days. She is very dependable and went above and beyond for me while I asked her to check on things while I was gone. Dolly really warmed up to Katie. I will definitely use her again!”

“Maya was so sweet and patient with our nutty dogs. They were obviously well cared for, and she kept us up to date every day with their activities and meals. I highly recommend Maya as a dog sitter!”

“Madeline provided stop-in visits to feed and check on our cat, Phoebe. She arrived for our meet-and-greet on time, asked lots of thoughtful questions, and was very accommodating to her preferred schedule! While we were gone, she provided super thorough updates, which included keeping track of her food and water intake. Overall, Madeline was very thorough, knowledgable, thoughtful, and trustworthy, and we would absolutely hire her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I grew up with dogs since early childhood! My mom taught me everything about loving and raising them. Later, I bonded with my cousin’s cats, and that’s when I started loving cats. My husband and I also had a cat who’s now in heaven. While we aren’t ready for a new pet right now, we still adore animals. That’s why I became a sitter—to share my love and care with your pets while you’re away! I have a full-time job, so early mornings and afternoons after 5 p.m. work best for me. I’m also available on weekends. Boarding is not available right now, as I’m currently hosting a friend’s cat. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, daily routines, and any special needs your pet may have. I also send regular updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Vose
Prices are estimates per day. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.
“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. It was like Christmas. I got pictures and video updates thought the day and report card at end of day. Kuka, my dog, loves their Rudy. They became buddies. I cant recommend them high enough!! Kuka went to doggie day care in the past and it always stressed her out. We tired 4 different places. She is super duper happy with Susan and family.”

“This was our first doggy daycare experience and everything went great! The yard is great for the dogs to play and I felt very comfortable leaving her with Angelica. I was given text and picture updates, and could tell my pup was having the best day! We will be back for sure and are so thankful! 😄”

About: Your dog should come home relaxed, not relieved it’s over. Some dogs want to come along on the good stuff with us: walks through Orenco Woods, hikes in the highlands, lazy afternoons at my sister’s duck farm. Others want a quiet couch and someone to sit with them, and that’s just as welcome. A year of professional sitting with consistent five-star reviews, and I’ve cared for everyone from a few-month-old puppy to a senior with arthritis. I take a maximum of two dog families at a time, so your dog gets real attention instead of a spot in a pack. No bite histories. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so dogs aren’t stuck alone for long stretches. Mornings start with yard time and breakfast. Midday is a walk or quiet rest, depending on what your dog wants. Evenings flex to the dog: longer walks and outings for the active ones, couch time for the dogs who’d rather decompress. You’ll get daily photos and videos so you can see how they’re actually doing. Plenty of dog gates and separation infrastructure means dogs and kids have their own space when needed, and new dogs can decompress before meeting my resident dogs. I do slow introductions before any overnight stay and keep food and medications on a clear schedule. Fully fenced backyard, single-story home, no stairs to navigate. Crates available if your dog prefers one. Your dog stays in a real household with people who actually want them there.

“Peter and his family clearly love dogs! They were super responsive and sent photos throughout the day. Charlie loved playing with their dogs and we will absolutely be booking again! Highly recommend!”

About: I’m Heather — dog trainer, pup snuggler, and your dog’s new best friend. With 10 years of experience, your furry one will be safe, loved, and spoiled like they’re my own! 🐶✨ I’m home about 75% of the time, and if I’m out, there’s a good chance your pup is right there with me doing dog stuff — hikes, walks, or fun little adventures. Your dog will enjoy a family-friendly, cozy environment where safety, comfort, and fun come first. Your dog will enjoy: A calm, loving home environment with plenty of snuggles and attention Structured playtime, rest time, and enrichment throughout the day Positive training and gentle guidance (I’m a professional trainer with 10 years of experience!) A safe, clean space — and of course, lots of photos and updates so you always know how your pup is doing ❤️Whether your dog is a social butterfly, a shy soul, or a little grumpy on occasion, I meet them where they’re at and make sure they feel secure and loved. “Jami is very diligent with sending pics/vids even when we don’t respond right away, with also sharing all needed updates about Mango. She’s straightforward, super helpful, very nice, reassuring, and keeps it a big world for your dog as she did for our Mango. She’s now our favorite and top person for anytime Mango would need daycare for the day or boarding when we have to leave for a trip.”

“We needed someone to do a long daycare for our very active and high energy doggy Maya and found a great sitter with Mersel! Mersel was great to work with, responded quickly and we were very impressed with her place for both the backyard and all the spaces in the house for the dogs to play and rest. Mersel also kept us updated regularly and sent us lots of pictures and videos as the day progressed. We will definitely be booking with Mersel again in the future!”

“Both Hayley and Graham have taken such special care of my labrador dog at their home. She loves the socialization and their home is very comfortable for doggy daycare. We appreciate you so much arranging your schedule to lovingly care for Emmie.”
“I felt so comfortable leaving my older little pup in Stephanie’s care. She truly loves pups, and takes extra care to create a safe and comfortable environment for the dogs. Thankful!”

“I can’t say enough positive things about this rover experience. First of all Michael + Cheryl helped me with my dog Ducky with very short notice which was such a huge help. They were communicative and kind and have a lovely property where I know ducky was very content. They sent me pictures and updates while he was there and I felt totally at ease. Given the fact that I was traveling and needed to find care for Ducky in an unfamiliar city, I couldn’t have found a better fit. Thank you!!”

“We just started daycare services with Sera, and she has been great! She’s very friendly, and sends us pictures letting us know Hoku is doing well. We, along with Hoku, look forward to continuing daycare with Sera and Panda!”
“Alison is dependable, reliable and a great communicator. She takes great care of my Bernese mountain dog, who loves going to her place for day care. Thanks so mich”

About: I have three adorable Mini American Shepherds, so while I love all dogs, herding breeds are definitely my specialty. I’ve got a big fenced yard and a doggie door, so the pups can run and play freely. I’ve also been involved in dog showing and agility, so I’m pretty knowledgeable about all things dog-related! I am currently working from home, and have time to take care of your beloved pet while you are away. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture. I have a large fenced yard, and three friendly Mini American Shepherds that love to play. I have rooms separated by gates, and extra crates for when a pup needs a little space.
“So happy with Jujus stay with Allison and her husband over the weekend. Juju loved playing fetch with their children in the backyard and had a great time and I received multiple pictures and updates during the stay. Absolutely will use Allison again. Thanks!”

“Vanessa was very communicative up front, explaining her typical daily approach with dogs in her care, visibly showing us the environment the dogs would be in, and outlining her credentials and passion for dogs. Drop off and pickup were very smooth, again with great communication, and our dog seemed to love his stay during daycare. We definitely plan to book with Vanessa again and recommend others do so as well.”

“Anupama took such great care of our dog Mimi! She sent photo updates, communicated well throughout the whole stay, and asked us thoughtful questions about Mimi to help provide the best care for her. Thank you Anu!”

“I am very happy with Marla & Keith, because Cassie received a lot of one-on-one attention. Marla is an expert at making a new dog (Cassie) feel at home in a new environment. Cassie was welcomed on walks with the other dogs - all of them much bigger than she is. And she got lap time too. The photos were a nice bonus. 😊”

“We are so happy to have Josh walk our pups! He came over for a meet n greet and it went fantastic! We had him scheduled for a week in June to do daily walks but since it went so well, we wanted to start sooner! He just had his first official walk and it went so great. He’s a great communicator and is very prompt! Lucky to have Josh helping with our pups!”

“Bethany was awesome me and my husband were going to be away on A trip our Dog Booker was staying home with our parents but they weren’t going to be able to give him the required exercise he needed so we figured we would give a dog walker a go! Bethany should up everyday to our house on time and Booker was always excited to see her! Each walk came with a picture and report which was great! Would definitely use Bethany again!”

“I had a very positive experience with having Yana walk my two dogs. It has been a pleasure working with her. She truly seems like an empathetic animal lover. She walked my two large dogs over the weekend and I was impressed with how their walks with her noticeably improved their demeanor.”
About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.
“I couldn’t be happier with our dog walker Mara. Communication was always clear, punctuality was excellent, and most importantly, my dog Gino was treated with care and affection. It’s obvious how experienced and attentive Mara is and it makes such a difference. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pet.”

So they will have access to me at my home 24/7. Our daily current schedule is as follows. 5am wake up 530 potty time 9am breakfast and walk 2pm long walk 5-6pm Dinner 8pm+ Quiet time with our blankets and dog TV time I have a secured apartment and we always make sure the dogs are leashes first before opening the door to go outside. I am conveniently located next door to a local bike path where we walk and run.
About: I’ve been a dog sitter for more than five years for other dogs and I have been a dog owner for 10 years! I’m patient and caring! I’ll be free to walk dogs all summer since I’m a teacher and have this summer off! Be happy to take care of your pet! I have a fenced yard. I have a clean home that’s welcoming to all! I am organized, patient, and kind. I care a lot about dogs!

About: I’m a huge animal lover and truly enjoy caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I’m very dependable and trustworthy, and I treat every animal with the same love and care I would give my own. I also make sure pets stay on their normal routines and always keep owners updated so they know their pet is happy and safe. This and Uber Eats are my full time jobs. I will only be gone for a couple hours in the evening for Uber Eats some days and Sunday early afternoons I have church but other than that I’m available. I am very attentive to pet’s needs and listen closely to the owner’s instructions. No matter how big or small your animal is, dog or cat, I have unlimited patience and care.
“Madison is AMAZING!! My dog Zelda is a stubborn girl and Madison won her over very quickly. She is a real trooper putting up with 5 AM rainy morning walks, yet she makes sure Zelda gets what she needs. Madison is delightful, communicative and truly responsible. I will hire her again! Thank you, Nadison!”

About: I'm a recently retired Beaverton school teacher. I'm new to Rover, but I grew up with dogs (we had dogs at home throughout my childhood) and I love being around dogs, so I think I'll get the hang of it pretty soon. I don't have one of my own, so I depend on dog owners to get my doggie fix. I'm retired, so I have plenty of time to walk dogs or drop in if you're away from home. I travel a bit, so I might be away for a week or two here and there. I do not have a pet, and my own house is not set up for pet sitting, so I do not offer this service. Sorry.

“My dog is reactive to other dogs and people so when Bryanna took him for a walk I was apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised she handled him with such grace and my dog got the long, happy walk he so desperately needs. I will be hiring her again.”

“Wendi went ABOVE and BEYOND for my Quinn. She met with me before the date so that Quinn could meet her and while Quinn is normally a one woman pup (me) she went to Wendi immediately and began bringing Wendi her toys to share. That has literally never happened before. Wendi also was flexible when my times needed to be adjusted. She communicated with me about how the drop ins and walks went and sent pictures. She also wrote a lovely note and created a water color of my Quinn. (not AI, she actually painted it) I highly recommend Wendi! I know my daughter plans to use her when she needs a dog walker/sitter next.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have experience with many different breeds of dogs and seniors. I have been known to refer to, as well as treat dogs like my own children. If you choose me to hang out with your dog I will treat them like my own best friend. I also have some experience with cats. Mostly just the basics; feeding, playing, and cleaning/changing out the litter box. I take and follow instructions very well, and if you invite me into your home to take care of your pet I will respect your space and your belongings. I recently moved to Oregon with my partner for his job. My schedule is wide open to take on both regular and one time clients. I will follow all instructions left to care for your pet. It’s very hard for me to leave my dog so I understand the trust that is placed in me to take care of your animal while you’re away. I can send updates and pictures if you’d like. At this moment I can’t bring animals into my home but that could change in the future.

“Brittany was an amazing dog sitter. She was amazing with my older dog who is a little anxious and not dog friendly. She made sure he was well taken care of. I would definitely let Ryder stay with Brittany any time!”
“Anupama was the best sitter we could have hoped for for our pup! It was his first time away from home overnight and they made him feel safe and loved. Kind, communicative, and trustworthy. We would love to have them sit for our Tofu again. Thank you!”

“Thank you, Heather! Our trip was great, knowing Thor was in caring hands. Heather is a very caring and professional sitter. She kept us updated with information and photos of our pup while we were out of town. We highly recommend Heather's services.”

“Alexis and Jacob were very friendly. I think they took great care of LeeLoo. She seemed very relaxed with them. I will definitely use them next time we need a sitter.”

“My Fluffy was well taken care of and I was sent pictures while away. I love that Peter is at home all day so my dog that is used to bring with me isn't alone all day.”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”
