About: I’ve always been the person who stops to pet every dog or cat I see around the neighborhood, so getting to spend more time with animals is pretty much my idea of a good day. 🐾 I have experience caring for cats in a few different settings: cat sitting for neighbors, caring for dogs and cats as a Kennel Attendant at VCA Rock Creek Hospital, and providing pet care for clients through my local animal-care company, Tails and Trails. I currently volunteer at Animal Aid as a Socializer and Caregiver, where I help care for cats in need of homes. That can mean giving them lots of cuddles, cleaning litter boxes, or documenting their behavior and stool so the team can keep track of their health and progress. We came home to Sunday (our cat) noticing he was happier and had clearly been stimulated with attention, games, and treats while we were gone. Sunday wasn't mad at us at all when we got home (in fact I think he probably wishes Jurick was still hanging out with him). Jurick was extremely communicative, reliable, friendly, and thorough when he watched Sunday for the whole week. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: Welcome to Pup Paradise! We have a large fenced in backyard and fenced front yard patio area for running and playing!
