About: I know trusting someone with your pet can be a big decision. My goal is simple: to provide reliable care that makes your pet feel safe and comfortable, so that you can have peace of mind. No two animals are exactly alike, which is one of my favorite parts of this work. Every dog and cat has their own personality, routines, little quirks, and favorite ways to spend the day. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet as an individual and providing care that’s tailored to them. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful pets, which has sparked my own interest in canine behavior, enrichment, and positive reinforcement. I'm always learning because I believe the more I understand animals, the better I can care for them. Every pet teaches me something new, and I love that this work allows me to keep growing. When you book with me, you can expect thoughtful care, dependable communication, and respect for both your home and your pet's routine. I also work as a writer, which gives me a flexible schedule that varies depending on the pets I'm caring for. During house sits, I may step out for dog walks, drop-in visits, errands, or appointments, but I plan my day thoughtfully around the needs of every pet in my care. If your pet has specific scheduling requirements, I'm happy to discuss them before booking so we can make sure we're a great fit. Humans make mistakes, which is why I always double-check. Whether it's making sure the right food goes to the right pet, securely fastening a leash, or confirming that the front door is locked before I leave, I take a moment to double-check the little things. I carefully follow the instructions you provide, communicate if anything unexpected comes up, and treat both your home and your pet with the same respect I'd want someone to show my own. My goal is to create a calm, predictable environment where your pet can feel comfortable until you return.

About: I've grown up with dogs, and taken care of them nearly my whole life. Each of the four dogs I've known best are rescues. They've certainly had their share of quirks and needs, but are lovely, loyal creatures. More recently, we've helped family, friends, and neighbors with their dogs. My 13-year old daughter Elise adores dogs of all shapes and sizes, and she's the motivation for sharing our home with more dogs. We also love small furry friends! We've recently enjoyed watching a sweet guinea pig and a dwarf hamster. I grew up with domesticated rats as pets - they were awesome! We're happy to watch small rodents anytime possible. I homeschool my four girls ages 11-17. They are all gentle with animals and provide lots of love for your sweet dog. We are home studying the majority of the time, and can flex for drop-off/pick-up. We have a large fenced yard that's very sturdy (the family recently rebuilt the fence). Inside our home there's a spacious downstairs and a gate to prevent access to the upstairs if needed.

“Mary Anne took fabulous care of our sweet cat, Holly! She provided us with detailed updates and delightful photos each day. Mary Anne also provided some extra services, including watering three newly planted shrubs through a heat wave. She also kept us updated on the one day that she came a little later than usual so that we wouldn't worry if we didn't get a report at the usual time. Finally, she kept in touch with us as we made the long journey home to ensure that Holly would be cared for until we got home, and left a light on for us since we were going to be arriving late at night! I will definitely request Mary Anne again the next time that we need a sitter.”

About: I moved back to Aloha in 2023 after 6 years in Central Oregon, where I first got involved with dog rescue and animal care. If there’s one thing people know about me, it’s that I’m a huge animal person. I don’t just "watch" pets; I really enjoy getting to know their personalities and making sure they feel safe while their owners are away. I have a lot of experience with the "tricky" stuff—dogs with high anxiety, medical needs, or those that just need a little extra patience. I'm used to following strict feeding schedules and making sure meds are taken on time, so you don't have to worry about their routine being disturbed. In addition to dogs and cats, I also have exposure to horses, pigs, goats, and chickens. I’m reliable, I’m a great communicator, and I’ll treat your animals like they’re my own. My goal is always to make sure they’re happy and you’re stress-free while you're gone! **References Available** Ps — Tell your dog I said, "Hi!" I currently focus my time on providing care for people's pets and I have a fairly open schedule to accommodate client needs. I spend my days outside and working with dogs, cats, chickens - you name it! I love what I do and look forward to caring for your pets too! In your home or mine, I respect the rules and routines you have in place for your pets. The dogs in my home will be kept separate from client dogs unless otherwise noted by the owner. Given the schedule I have for work and my personal dogs, your routine may vary slightly in my home. I have space for guest dogs so I can keep on a crate rotation to be able to meet and respect all the dogs' needs.

About: With 10 years of pet sitting experience and a beloved 4 year old corgi of my own, I provide loving, reliable care for your dogs. Your pets will be treated like family! I am a teacher with this summer off. My schedule is more relaxed during the summer to help with your summer adventures. I understand the needs of reactive and high energy dogs. I am also comfortable giving oral medication throughout the day. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies or health concerns! My daily schedule is flexible, allowing me to prioritize pet care. I'll ensure your pets feel important and are well taken care of, providing them with the attention and love they need throughout the day. In your home I will maintain house rules to keep training consistent with your pet. I have completed puppy training classes through The Training Spot in Eugene Oregon and love learning new tricks with dogs who are interested.

Rose is very reliable, trustworthy, and kind, and kept me updated with pictures and notes about how my cat was doing, and based off the pictures, I know my cat totally fell in love with Rose! I truly felt that if an emergency had happened with my cat, Rose would have been on top of it (which is so reassuring as I am new to the state and don’t have anyone else to check on her).
