“Allison was really easy to work with. Her and her family took good care of my dog and responded timely with updates when I checked in. I would gladly work with her again in the future.”

“Thank you Hayley and Graham for taking care of Hank this past weekend. The daily updates and photos made it even easier knowing Hank was in great hands. Hope to use you both again soon.”

“Manisha and her family took such good care of Kylo, our 3 and a half months old aussiedoodle that he actually is missing them after returning home after 3 weeks stay. Manisha sent plenty of pictures of Kylo during the entire stay and helped us stay connected to him. Kylo received lots of hugs, kisses and family fun times from Manisha and her family. She is a very thoughtful caretaker and even bought a whole bag of dog food to send home with him after the food we sent with him nearly finished. I would definitely reach out to her again for Kylo and highly recommend her for dog sitting/stay.”

“Ron was very helpful taking my young energetic pup on pretty short notice for a long weekend! He was patient with her and definitely gave her some good outlets for play with other dogs because she was totally tired out when I picked her up.”

“You know your dog was well taken care of when they want to go back in to the house instead of get in the car with you to go home! Thank you for taking such great care of Ava!”
“Michelle and Glenn were caring sitters. They sent ample photos of his interactions and shared how he got along well with their dog, too. Our dog came home relaxed and happy. We would definitely ask them to watch our dog again in the future. Thank you so much!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter for our elderly dog. They gave him all the love and attention a little old man could have asked for. We will definitely use them again.”

“Barbara is a great awesome caregiver for my Maggie. She kept us updated every day and it seemed like Maggie probably didn’t wanna come home cause barber shows a lot of love towards animals. I would recommend her highly.”

“Highly recommended — Reliable and attentive! Our dog Luna received excellent care, plenty of exercise, and thoughtful updates throughout the stay. Luna looked happy each and every day we were away. Thanks Melani for your excellent care!”

“Paula is friendly and so knowledgeable. Her dogs were great playmates for my dog, so I got a happy, tired out pup when I came for pick up. Paula was flexible with me on drop off and pick up times due to icy roads - I really appreciated her kind demeanor and quick communication.”

“This was Muff’s third—and at two weeks, by far longest—stay with Barbara. When Muff and I arrived for the drop-off, Muff was thrilled to see Barbara, which is always a good sign. The stay went very well, and Barbara sent a ton of photos. Highly recommended!”

“Katie took wonderful care of my old lady dog Bailey while I was out of town for awhile. She was very communicative, asked me questions about Bailey's care and medications, sent me pictures of her and kept me updated on how she was doing, and always asked about my or Bailey's comfort level if they were doing anything new or different, like going to the beach. Bailey also adored the kids, and seemed very happy with her stay. She was living her best life during her visit with Katie, she almost didn't want to come home with me. Haha! Would highly recommend.”

“Brittany and Blase i can not recommend them enough. They gave updates and the pictures were awesome. Our dogs always looked liked they were on vacation. I dont think they really wanted to come home. Thank you again. Your love for dogs really shines through.”

“Yvonne and Sam took such wonderful care of Delilah! They have a lovely home and backyard perfect for sitting and treated her like one of their own. I got lots of updates, pictures, video, and she asked lots of questions to make sure everything went smoothly. Deli is nervous around strangers but warmed up super fast and was clearly having a great time on walks and getting all the snuggles she wanted. It was great having my mind at ease while on vacation!”

“Samantha did a great job at treating Scarlett for hyperthyroidism while we were gone. Getting the gel into Scarlett's ear with accompanying treats seems to have done the trick! Great job Samantha. J & J”

About: As a cat mom myself, I know how important it is to know that your cat is being well taken care of while you are away. As a cat sitter, my mission is to provide reliable and quality care. I enjoy learning about cats and their preferences. Like my cat for instance, she is not one to jump around for toys, but the moment I offer chin scratches and a warm place to sit on my legs, she is all for it. I do enjoy a good play time with cats though! So if playtime is their thing, then I’m all for it! I have experience with cleaning litter boxes, serving food and treats, and administering endless chin scratches.

“Susan was so super fantastic taking care of our kitties while we were away. They sure grew to love her quite quickly as well. Definitely hope to get you back fir the next time.”

“Mary Anne was the best! She was communicative, professional, and kind. She made us feel so at ease going on our trip and sent the best pictures of our cat! I will 100% be booking with her again!”

“Kelly is fantastic!! She takes great care of our boys when we’re out of town. She’s thoughtful and respectful of our home and is very patient with our shy kitties. We really appreciate her!!”

“Haley was a lifesaver and jumped right in after I had another sitter fall through. One of my very shy kitties actually let Haley pet her and get close to her. It seems like my kitties really liked her and were doing so well when I returned home from my trip.”

“Elizabeth was great and took good care of Jasper. We felt very relaxed with her keeping an eye on things. She kept in contact and provided plenty of updates. Would gladly do it again!”

“Camille did a great job! She made friends with our shy kitty right away and gave him lots of loving interaction. He usually hides around anyone new, but he really loved Camille! We appreciated the pictures of him, it's clear that he had a grand time with his new friend :)”

“A last minute request after our original sitter fell through, Allison made time for a meet and greet and made extra effort during the drop in to ensure our kitty was safe and taken care of. Great communication during the visit. Will definitely use services again for future trips!”

“My little dog Clara absolutely adores Susan and Ian and their two big dogs. They have such a wonderful dynamic with their intelligent, energetic dogs, and it melts my heart to see Clara be welcomed into their pack. She comes home so happy and tired from a full day of exercise, play, affection, and relaxing among her favorite spots. Their pickup add-on is really wonderful, and Clara gets so excited when she realizes it's time to go have fun with Baz and Ruby! It is so special to see my little dog and other new friends in daycare all confidently playing together. Every daycare dog she's met with them has been an immediate friend--not always what you expect with a chihuahua away from mom and home--and that speaks to how thoughtfully Susan and Ian manage the group. They have a real gift for understanding different dogs so that they feel comfortable, safe, and included. I trust them completely with Clara and couldn't recommend them more highly.”

“Vanessa was great. She is incredibly knowledgeable and an experienced handler. She took her time to introduce my dog to all of the areas in her home and sent me pictures with updates on how things were going. I will most certainly be using her services in the future.”
“Both Hayley and Graham have taken such special care of my labrador dog at their home. She loves the socialization and their home is very comfortable for doggy daycare. We appreciate you so much arranging your schedule to lovingly care for Emmie.”
“Vinai asked some great questions to make sure Rocky was compatible with the pack which we appreciated. Rocky can be wary of new people, but Vinai was really accommodating and let her get comfortable at her own pace. Showed up to a happy and tired pup!”

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.
“Julie took wonderful care of my active Aussie. My pooch came home tired, and we all know that a tired dog is a good dog. I will use Julie again...the next visit already booked.”

“So happy with Jujus stay with Allison and her husband over the weekend. Juju loved playing fetch with their children in the backyard and had a great time and I received multiple pictures and updates during the stay. Absolutely will use Allison again. Thanks!”

“Piggy had a great time with Marla and Keith. She got all her puppy energy out and came back ready for bed. They gave a great update at the end of the day about how it went and I felt very comfortable leaving her with them. 10/10”

“Jami was amazing and helped us out with a last minute work trip! She was flexible and did incredible hikes and outings with our dogs. They were so happy to be with Jami!”

“My dogs had an amazing time with Michael and Cindy! They got lots of exercise and love and snuggles. I felt completely at ease knowing they were being taken care of while I was away. The dogs even got baths and massages, and came home all fresh and clean. :) So, so, so happy with my experience.”

“I really appreciate Kristen taking care of our boy Sampson. This was the first time being with someone else other than the groomer and being around other dogs. I think she took good care to make him comfortable around the other dogs because he really wants to meet other dogs more than before. I would highly recommend Kristen to take care of your loved one’s. Thank you Kristen! Michael Parkison”

“I was delighted when I discovered that Beck is hosting! I have taken care of her sweet dogs and because of previous contact with them, I felt very comfortable having Maya spend time with Beck, Pat, and their two little pups. They were great hosts.........Maya was very happy and content there. I hope to be taking Maya there again!”

“Damon has been a life saver for my daycare needs. He is reliable, personable, and communicative. I work full time and have an active GSD who needs adequate mental stimulation and play. By the time I pick her up, she’s ready to eat and relax for the rest of the evening. He has a spacious and clean backyard for the dogs to roam/play around in without it feeling too crowded. I always get pics and updates thru out the day to make me feel reassured she’s safe and having a great time. Would absolutely recommend Damon and his services.”

“Thank you so much for taking care of my little Al for our first Rover experience. You have such a kind disposition and immediately made me feel he would be taken care of by you. Truly thank you so much. ❤️”

“I normally stress out about leaving my dog with someone else, but after our meet and greet, I was actually excited about leaving my dog with Mersal and Cora. He doesn’t get many opportunities to play with other dogs. He had the best time ever with Mersal and Cora. He didn’t want to leave. I think I’ll be reserving more time just for his happiness to be with Mersal and Cora.”

“Peter is kind, has a lovely home and welcomed Max with open arms. Sounds like my pup has a great day with Peter and his family. Peter was also super flexible when I needed to make some timing changes based on my daughter’s unpredictable basketball tournament schedule. Highly recommend!”

“Alexis has been so good with Wilson, my greyhound. She honored all of my requests for him as greyhounds can be quite a different sort of breed than others. Her sense of care for animals is exactly what I was looking for and I would recommend Alexis to anyone who needs someone to take care of their pooch☺️👍🏻🐾.”

From the treats and ball she brought on her first meet to the pictures of her visit she posted on Rover! Amazing! Will definitely use Jessica again!❤️”

About: I’m an undergraduate environmental science student at Portland State, currently on summer break. I recently worked as a student research technician, handling and tracking frogs and documenting their habitats. My family has had our fair share of dogs and cats over the years, which contributed to my love for animals and the outdoors. I’ve cared for the pets and houses of friends and family since 2023, checking in throughout the day to provide meals and quality playtime. --- I enjoy figuring out how to build a true connection with animals, some more unique than others. My family has two cats with very distinct personalities: Evy, our affectionate 13 year old, and Sophie, our 2 year old feisty tortie. We rescued Sophie as a 3 week old kitten, and she began experiencing seizures at just 9 weeks old. This was a scary and confusing time, involving many emergency vet visits. She is now healthy and happy, on a strict schedule requiring medicine by mouth every 12 hours. Each pet I’ve been lucky to have has taught me something, and I’ve had to learn from her the most. She is a high maintenance kitty who doesn’t like pets. She shows her affection in unconventional ways, and I wouldn’t have it any other way :-) Please message me if you're curious about booking me on a date I have marked as unavailable. Though I've marked weekdays starting in late September as unavailable for the time being due to classes starting, I may still be able to provide services. Otherwise, I'm on summer break so my schedule is quite open. I'm able to spend quality time with your pet(s) and can work with you to figure out a schedule that works best for them. I'm available for walks, overnight stays, and/or check-ins throughout the day depending on their needs. I'm most compatible with pets who can be left alone for 4-8 hours, as I have personal responsibilities and may need to walk a dog or check in with someone else's pets (or my own!). --- My current nightly rates are intended for 12 hour care (ex: 6 PM to 6 AM, 8 PM to 8 AM, etc.) and 2-4 drop in visits throughout the day, depending on your need and my availability. Please feel free to message me if you have questions, concerns, or if your pet requires more intensive or constant care. I'll do my best make it work! I'd love to meet with you first and get to know your furry family to see if I'm a good fit for them. I enjoyed walking my dog 2-3 times per day in the neighborhood or on local nature park trails. When caring for others' pets in the past, I'd typically check in 2-3 times a day to feed, play, and relax with them, watering plants as needed. While most have been considered low maintenance, I've gained much more intensive experience with my special needs cat Sophie. --- I appreciate schedules and/or written instructions so I can better adapt to your pet's needs, especially if they require medications or atypical care.

About: I've been dog sitting for friends and family for over 7 years. I love dogs and love going on walks with them! I have experience with nervous dogs and higher energy dogs, I've dog-sat rescues, 1-year-olds with their bouncing off the walls, and seniors. I help my mom with in-home child care during the week from Monday to Thursday but I have free time outside of that. I usually can start the day by 7am but will start moving earlier if the dog needs it! I have a smaller fenced backyard with some dog neighbors. We have some guinea pigs in our home but they're upstairs in an elevated cage with a gate at the bottom of the stairs. The neighborhood has a variety of routes I can go on of different lengths to fit your dog's needs.
About: I grew up with five dogs from small to large. And now I love the crap out of dogs. I'm known as the dog whisperer at the dog parks. Definitely will have lots of cuddles, chases around the house, and lots of dogs to play and socialize with. At home, the dogs will have the run of the home. And my dog will leave them alone. I generally have other dogs that get along well. I have a small fenced yard so they have free access to potty in the backyard as I leave the door open. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Generally I'll take the dogs on at least one 1.5mile jog per day. And then whatever rough housing they get into around the house Animals have free roam of the house. I have a fenced yard although it's small there is a doggy door so they can get in and out.
“Brittny was great with my dog. She has a natural rapport with dogs; he loved her from the first meet and greet. Brittny sent me a video of him doing "zoomies" in the backyard, something he does when he's very happy. I greatly appreciated that. Brittny is also a great communicator and a very nice person.”
About: I’ve been a dog sitter for more than five years for other dogs and I have been a dog owner for 10 years! I’m patient and caring! I’ll be free to walk dogs all summer since I’m a teacher and have this summer off! Be happy to take care of your pet! I have a fenced yard. I have a clean home that’s welcoming to all! I am organized, patient, and kind. I care a lot about dogs!
“Andrea and Don were wonderful! They walked my dog Scout 3 days while we were out of town. My sister was staying with Scout but she is unable to walk him due to mobility issues. Andrea and Don came on time and walked Scout the amount of time we had requested. Couldn't be happier with how kind and considerate they are.”
“Corey has been a lifesaver for my pug, Poppy, and me! She walks her 4 days a week and brings her son, Luke, with her which I love because Poppy's rarely around kids (plus, I know that between Corey and Luke, Poppy is getting a good dose of exercise during their visits). I am so grateful that they take such good care of my girl (and she captures great photos of her!). Thank you, Corey (and Luke)!”

“Shannon is awesome! She gave us really great feedback for Dame, she's very responsive and knowledgeable. We're very excited to have someone we can trust take care of our sweet pup when we need it!”

“Highly recommended — Reliable and attentive! Our dog Luna received excellent care, plenty of exercise, and thoughtful updates throughout the stay. Luna looked happy each and every day we were away. Thanks Melani for your excellent care!”

“Jennifer & Eric and the boys were great company for Oliver. He came home tired and that's a good sign. We appreciated the option for sitter-pick up and thank you for taking good care of our boy.”

“Dottie provided excellent care for Sahara on her second stay. She administered an appetite stimulant I gave her and figured out the types of food that my little finicky eater would go for. She texted several pictures while I was away and Sahara was obviously content and comfortable. I’m very satisfied with Dottie’s service.”

“Chaun was a great communicator for the meet and greet and the entire visit during the weekend! Our pup had some tummy issues and she was super on top of it and letting us know what’s going on. I also loved all the pictures and videos of him playing with all the other dogs and kitten she had visiting. Thank you so much for taking great care of Wrigley!”

“Kristen took good care of my pup overnight. They were easy to work with and very flexible. I waited too to find a sitter but they worked with me and were very kind. Thank you Kristen!”

“Kimberly did an excellent job taking care of our dog Lucy! We were given daily photos and updates which helped with peace of mind. We will definitely have our Lucy hang out with their family again! Thank you Kimberly!”
