From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way. It never felt judgmental, just supportive and caring. Overall, Britney went above and beyond for our girls, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, and attention she gave them. Their pickup add-on is really wonderful, and Clara gets so excited when she realizes it's time to go have fun with Baz and Ruby! About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I've been dog sitting for friends and family for over 7 years. I love dogs and love going on walks with them! I have experience with nervous dogs and higher energy dogs, I've dog-sat rescues, 1-year-olds with their bouncing off the walls, and seniors. I usually can start the day by 7am but will start moving earlier if the dog needs it! I have a smaller fenced backyard with some dog neighbors. We have some guinea pigs in our home but they're upstairs in an elevated cage with a gate at the bottom of the stairs. About: I grew up with five dogs from small to large. And now I love the crap out of dogs. I'm known as the dog whisperer at the dog parks. Definitely will have lots of cuddles, chases around the house, and lots of dogs to play and socialize with. At home, the dogs will have the run of the home. And my dog will leave them alone. I generally have other dogs that get along well. I have a small fenced yard so they have free access to potty in the backyard as I leave the door open. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Generally I'll take the dogs on at least one 1.5mile jog per day. And then whatever rough housing they get into around the house Animals have free roam of the house. I have a fenced yard although it's small there is a doggy door so they can get in and out.

We have raised little dogs and large dogs and we love both sizes equally. Our guests (your dog) will be treated just like you treat them at home. We lost our Otis several years ago. He was an integral part of our family. He suffered separation anxiety so we are familiar with the extra needs of this anxiety. We will provide love to your four legged fur baby as we did to our Otis and we will make our guest an integral part of our family. They will want to come back to Grammy and Gramps because they know how great they were loved during their stay with us . LET US LOVE YOUR DOG! We are home fulltime to care for your dog! We always have a meet and greet to learn more about the dog so they will feel more comfortable when staying with us. We have a fenced courtyard to let them explore. We use babygates to keep them from going up stairs if needed. We have parks close by to go for a walk.
About: I've had cats and dogs growing up my whole life. I was the primary caregiver, trainer and best friend. I also took care of many of the neighbors cats and dogs while they were away. And their farm animals as well. Also have experience from the Army training tracking and guard dogs. I am a retired latter carrier and a disabled Army Veteran. I have all the time in the world to devote to caring for your pets when needed. Particularly with dogs during the day. Walking is great for your dog and gets me the exercise that I need. It's a win-win. And it's a plus that I get the hang around with dogs. , i currently do not have dogs or cats of my own. I do live in an apartment but I'm close to many parks and trails. I'm available for a client's home sitting as well and will always abide by the wishes of the client for their pets.
