About: A family of 4. My husband and I have both always had pets in our homes since we were children. Now our littles are the same way. We are huge pet lovers around here! We have a huge love for dogs and believe they should be treated just like you would treat anyone else in your family! I am a self employed hairstylist so my schedule is very flexible. I currently only work a couple days a week so I am able to be home with my kids and our dog! I have a decent sized fenced backyard and a dog park 5 houses away from our home! Also parks with lots of trails. We want your dog to feel safe and comfortable so we are okay with dogs who like to be crated and dog who don’t. Whatever makes your baby feel comfortable is what we will do! We believe pets should get to have vacations too. We will provide them with all the love and fun we can!🖤

About: I’ve always been the person who stops to pet every dog or cat I see around the neighborhood, so getting to spend more time with animals is pretty much my idea of a good day. 🐾 I have experience caring for cats in a few different settings: cat sitting for neighbors, caring for dogs and cats as a Kennel Attendant at VCA Rock Creek Hospital, and providing pet care for clients through my local animal-care company, Tails and Trails. I currently volunteer at Animal Aid as a Socializer and Caregiver, where I help care for cats in need of homes. That can mean giving them lots of cuddles, cleaning litter boxes, or documenting their behavior and stool so the team can keep track of their health and progress. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I can’t pass a dog without wanting to give it love and attention! I truly believe dogs make life better and are good for the soul. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — from a Shar Pei and a Standard Poodle to a wolf hybrid, and most recently a rescue Pittie-Boxer mix. Over the years, I’ve learned that every dog is unique, and I’ve developed the skills to understand and respect each dog’s personality and needs. Caring for our sweet rescue pup, who had severe separation anxiety and fear of other dogs, taught me the importance of reading dog signals and being observant of other dogs and people to prevent conflicts during walks. I’m lucky to work from home, which allowed me to spend quality time walking and playing with my dog every day. I miss that daily outdoor adventure and would love to take your pup for walks, playtime, and cuddles. With me, your dog will be in caring hands. Whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or just some quality snuggle time, your pup’s happiness and well-being are my top priority. I currently work from home full time and can give your pet frequent potty breaks and a daily walk and play time. I live 4 mins from the Westside Regional Trail so I have a great options for giving your pup exercise. My kiddos come home from school around 5 and your pup will have a couple play buddies or cuddle buddies depending on their preference. About: I worked at a vet clinic for about two years, helping with restraint for exams and diagnostics. I took care of the boarding pets and administered medications. Additionally, I did about a year of clinical rotations working with animals. All this, not including my own pet experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, and a ferret. I am starting a new business and I will be working from home. I will have plenty of time to take care of furrr babies I have a large courtyard where our dogs can run around. About: I’m a huge animal lover and truly enjoy caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I’m very dependable and trustworthy, and I treat every animal with the same love and care I would give my own. I also make sure pets stay on their normal routines and always keep owners updated so they know their pet is happy and safe. I am known for being able to get animals to warm up to me rather quickly so I am a great sitter to have if your fur baby is nervous around new humans. This and Uber Eats are my full time jobs. About: I’m an undergraduate environmental science student at Portland State. I recently worked as a student research technician, handling and tracking frogs and documenting their habitats. My family has had our fair share of dogs and cats over the years, which contributed to my love for animals and the outdoors. We rescued Sophie as a 3 week old kitten, and she began experiencing seizures at just 9 weeks old. This was a scary and confusing time, involving many emergency vet visits. She is now healthy and happy, on a strict schedule requiring medicine by mouth every 12 hours. Each pet I’ve been lucky to have has taught me something, and I’ve had to learn from her the most. She is a high maintenance kitty who doesn’t like pets. She shows her affection in unconventional ways, and I wouldn’t have it any other way :-) Please message me if you're curious about booking me on a date I have marked as unavailable. Though I've marked weekdays starting in late September as unavailable for the time being due to classes starting, I may still be able to provide services. My goal is to spend quality time with your pet(s) and work with you to figure out a schedule that works best for them. I'm available for walks, overnight stays, and/or check-ins throughout the day depending on their needs. I'm most compatible with pets who can be left alone for 4-8 hours, as I have personal responsibilities and may need to walk a dog or check in with someone else's pets (or my own!). --- My current nightly rates are intended for 12 hour care (ex: 6 PM to 6 AM, 8 PM to 8 AM, etc.) and 2-4 drop in visits throughout the day, depending on your need and my availability. Please feel free to message me if you have questions, concerns, or if your pet requires more intensive or constant care. I'll do my best make it work! I'd love to meet with you first and get to know your furry family to see if I'm a good fit for them. I enjoyed walking my dog 2-3 times per day in the neighborhood or on local nature park trails. When caring for others' pets in the past, I'd typically check in 2-3 times a day to feed, play, and relax with them, watering plants as needed. While most have been considered low maintenance, I've gained much more intensive experience with my special needs cat Sophie. --- I appreciate schedules and/or written instructions so I can better adapt to your pet's needs, especially if they require medications or atypical care.
About: I have loved animals my entire life. I grew up with Samoyeds (fluffy white sled dogs) and was so happy when I was able to get one of my own 13 years ago, and since then I have also adopted a Heeler mix. My dogs are members of my family, and I will treat your pets the same way. I love taking dogs out to all the amazing parks and trails in the area. And when I am home or doing a drop-in, I'm happy to play and keep your pets company while you are away, as well as make sure they are fed and have enough water. About: I have always loved animals. I grew up with dogs and cats of all different breeds, personalities, and sizes! Currently I do not live with any animals. However, I have years of experience helping my mother with our German Shepard, Pitbull mix, Golden Retriever, and our little Pug/Chihuahua mix. As a high school student I often did boarding at my home, as well as house sitting for others. Now post college graduation, I am looking to get back into animal care while I work on starting my professional career. I am currently working jobs that allow me to create my own schedule, so I have plenty of free time to spend playing with sweet fur babies! “Brittany and her husband were amazing. They made our pup, Alaska, super comfortable from the initial meet and greet and let her roam around their house. You can tell how much they love dogs and they treated her like their own. Alaska has a ton of energy and they kept her busy with lots of playtime and walks and they even did some training. She’s very observant of all of Alaska’s habits and asked really great question to really establish the best stay for Alaska. Brittany stayed in contact and sent photos and videos throughout Alaska’s stay which made me feel super assured that my pup was not only safe, but legitimately having the time of her life. I highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again.”
