He had great rapport with her right away, and her sweet dog and those that visit during the day... he loved her yard. When he had a more sensitive day, she handled it like the dog pro she is and understood what he needed, but kept me in the loop just so I'd know that he was experiencing a little separation anxiety. The next day he was back to playing, sleeping in bed with her, and enjoying exploring her beautiful large outdoor space. I can't wait to have Renny stay with her again.”

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. About: Due to issues with marking, I will only sit female dogs. I have two small rescue dogs of my own - both are under 15 pounds and gentle and playful with one another. I am Sixty Seven years of age and a responsible homeowner. There are no children living in or visiting my home. Having your pet in my home is a privilege and I will always provide the optimum care for your pet. Please come visit me! Plenty of love and attention will be given to your pet. Walks, playtime & fetch. Unless provided a crate, your dog will sleep with me and my two small dogs, unless owner requests they be crated, or the breed or age of pet makes sleeping on a bed inadvisable. Effective 7/27/21: Any medical needs, special diet or requirements, a written list of that/those condition(s) is required. DROP OFF: BEFORE 9am PICKUP: 8:30pm-10:00pm. Mon-Fri DROP OFF & PICKUP BEFORE NOON - Sat & Sun Pets are alone from 3:30pm to 8:30pm M-F I have a 4,000 sq ft back yard. it is completely fenced and secure. I have owned my home for 19 years. During that time, absolutely no chemicals have been used. I do NOT ever leave dogs outside longer than 10 minutes. I feed the dogs at 7am and 6pm. Dogs will sleep on my bed unless owner provides a crate and prefers to crate their dog at night. I do NOT crate dogs during the day or while not at home. Dogs are allowed on all furniture.

About: I love animals so dearly but I have none of my own :( let me care for yours as I have other animals for years! I work online remotely, and I take mostly online college classes. I have a reliable way of transportation and I’m available pretty much all the time! I can feed pets, give them minor medication, take them on walks and to dog parks. About: I’m a huge animal lover and truly enjoy caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I’m very dependable and trustworthy, and I treat every animal with the same love and care I would give my own. I also make sure pets stay on their normal routines and always keep owners updated so they know their pet is happy and safe. This and Uber Eats are my full time jobs. I will only be gone for a couple hours in the evening for Uber Eats some days and Sunday early afternoons I have church but other than that I’m available. I am very attentive to pet’s needs and listen closely to the owner’s instructions. No matter how big or small your animal is, dog or cat, I have unlimited patience and care.

She’s also very diligent in finding playmates and making sure she socializes appropriately with the other pups.
