“Bri took care of our 4 pets with ease and care. She was super communicative throughout the stay and was an absolute dream to work with. Highly recommend!”

“Erika cared for my cat, Roxy, in my home for an extended stay, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. She was reliable, communicative, and attentive to Roxy’s routines. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a well-kept house. I have already booked her again and would confidently recommend her to others.”

“Emma, Has a very calm demeanor and made me feel at ease. I’m very protective of my pup and after talking with her I felt safe for her to watch Finley. She’s very respectful and a sweet lady that seems to have a genuine passion for animals. I could tell Finley likes her. I told her she’s welcome to come by anytime to see Fin. I will have watch Fin in the future as long as she’s willing and available. Thank you Emma!!”

“We came home to a well cared for happy and healthy Zuzu. Mathew was extremely good at keeping us informed with updates complimented with pictures of our dog doing all things that they do. Our home was very clean when we returned from an overseas trip and our numerous plants were well watered. Should you need a true dog person, someone who demonstrates real affection towards your pet and has the highest professional standards then Mathew is your guy. We hold him in the highest regard.”

“Lucinda is responsive, trustworthy, and flexible. She has stayed overnight at our home with our dog and cat, and she’s wonderful with them. I’ve had difficulty on occasion with the Rover app and Lucinda went out of her way to contact Rover herself and help me. She goes above and beyond! I highly recommend Lucinda.”

“Melissa was wonderful in getting Hudson out for walks, working around her schedule to take him out and kept us in the loop while she watched him. She was communicative and respectful.”

“A pet sitting angel! I was freaking out because of a last minute cancellation from another sitter, but Alex came to my rescue and took over the booking. Turns out that the other sitter cancelling was the best thing that could have happened because Alex is everything I could ever want from a sitter. They were incredibly responsive to my messages, they gave frequent updates throughout the day complete with photos, they administered medication to both my cats, they went above and beyond to even clean up the place while I was away…but most importantly, my boys seemed to absolutely adore them! Absolutely a 10/10 ✨”

“Alexis did an excellent job house sitting for our Golden Retriever! Sent lots of pictures of our pup during our trip, excellent communicator and really cares for animals. Would highly recommend!”

“Malissa is amazing! She showed up to our meet-and-greet beforehand with an iPad to take copious notes. It was amazing! It’s clear she really cares and takes her job seriously. And our dog loved her and all the love and attention she gives (especially the evening scritches!).”

About: Hi I'm Brittaney! Multi cat owner and Oregon Humane Society adult volunteer. I have 9 years of experience caring for cats, including feeding, litter care, playtime, and administering medication. I’ve also provided professional cat care during weeklong stays. For dogs, I offer gentle, reliable walks to help them stay active and happy. I make sure all pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, paying attention to their routines and personalities so every visit is tailored to them. I provide daily cat care and dog visits on a semi-flexible schedule. Morning visits: M,W,TH,F 8:30/9am-9:30am and 9am-9:30am on Saturdays Mid-day visits: Wednesday 10:00–1:30pm Evenings: M,Th,S 6pm - any Unavailable: Tuesdays (Sabbath) & Sundays I do not provide overnight care at this time- sorry! Note: I work full-time, so a little flexibility with visit times is appreciated. I provide pet care only in clients’ homes for two reasons: I want pets to be in the comfort of their familiar environment and I have two cats of my own that are territorial. Your pets’ safety, trust, and well-being are my top priorities, and I want to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while following their usual routines.
About: I've been taking care of a few close friends dogs while they work since November 2025 and I have personally had my own canine familiars and family since 2010. I love spending time with all my dogs, going for walks, playing in the yards and parks when weather permits and most of all, giving them all the attention, lots of snuggling, cuddling and love. I don't do any dog training but am well experienced in how to handle dogs in different environments and situations. I am also a very clean and tidy individual who is willing to walk your dogs daily, clean up poop in your backyard (if you have one) and you can be assured I will keep your house spotless and clean as well. In past jobs, I have watered plants, gardens, lawns and made sure trash was taken out to the curbs on pick up days for no added charge. As for me and my personal life, I am a part time private mentor for individuals seeking change, men in recovery, men that are homeless and men that suffer mental health disorders. I've worked in several recovery homes for non-profits as an onsite house manager where my dog Angelo, at the time, was an integral part of many of the clients and the population we served in the program houses daily life, enrichment activities and mental health journeys. After loosing my beloved Angelo in January 2025 to lymphoma, I felt a new calling in my heart to help others with their dogs needs, give them peace of mind and trust when they are away for work, self care days or vacation. I look forward to meeting you and your fur family members soon! I have plenty of time to spend with any dogs I'm sitting for or around through the month and week. I am totally open in my schedule as I do not work a regular 9-5 job life. I try to stick to any routine that the clients request based on established routines with each dog and their person(s). I personally like to get up and go for morning, mid-day and evening walks with all my dogs I'm around if they prefer being active (not very many say no, lol). If they are more of a couch potato or have an indoor personality, I tailor our routine to activities and attention within the house. I always provide space upon meeting new dogs to let them move and get comfortable at their pace. I am a very quiet and passive fella that provides a positive safe space at all times to the best of my ability daily, its just my nature! So, its always a "win win" to me! I have yet to have any of the dogs I've been around not warm up to me.
“Wendi was great with our two dogs and one cat! She updated us regularly, was able to give one of them medications without any issues, and by her photo updates I could tell they were all so happy and comfortable with her. Would definitely have her pet sit again and couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Julia was prompt and professional. I was updated several times daily with photos on Titan. Julia really goes the extra mile to ensure not only the pet owner is at ease while away, but also that the dog was reassured and comfortable during a stressful time. My dog seemed to take to her very well. I would definitely book Julia again.”
“Alyssa took great care of our two poodles and chickens and was an excellent communicator. We were able to enjoy our vacation worry-free and came home to two very happy dogs, happy chickens and a house that was just as we left it.”

“Alicia was wonderful with Bernie and Lucy! Bernie has some special needs, so it’s really important to us to have someone who is attentive, patient, and comfortable with his routine. Alicia did a great job with both dogs over the long weekend, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. She was reliable, caring, and clearly gave them lots of love and attention. We’d happily have her watch them again and definitely recommend her!”

“Haley was wonderful! She helped me out with a last-minute booking and was incredibly kind throughout the process. She asked questions, followed all the care instructions, and took great care of my pup. I really appreciate her help and would definitely book with her again!”

“Kai was wonderful with our two senior Golden Retrievers! She was easy to communicate with and flexible with our schedule. We couldn't be happier with her service. We highly recommend Kai!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Denny Whitford
Jennifer was great with our dog Sadie, who hates it when we leave and hates to be left alone. She took such good care of her, our house and even our plants while we were gone for 16 days. She sent great photos every day, which made us feel better about leaving Sadie behind.

Ian stayed in our home to care for our 12 year old German Shepherd while we were on a 3 1/2 week long trip. He took great care of our dog and our home and made sure to check in with us periodically. We loved his short updates and pictures. Will definitely ask him and Susan again if they are available for our next trip.

Emma, Has a very calm demeanor and made me feel at ease. I’m very protective of my pup and after talking with her I felt safe for her to watch Finley. She’s very respectful and a sweet lady that seems to have a genuine passion for animals. I could tell Finley likes her. I told her she’s welcome to come by anytime to see Fin. First time Rover user - We had Al watch our Labradoodle, Koko, for 3 days at our house. Al sent us photo every day which we appreciated as we had never left Kok with anyone other than family before. Koko immediately loved Al and you could see that Al was comfortable around dogs. All was very easy to work with, punctual, tidy and took Koko for long walks. She even brought a flavored dog toy for Koko. We highly recommend her!

Kathryn S was AMAZING!!! (She felt like family immediately when we met her). We are relatively new to Portland, so hadn’t found anyone yet to stay with our 65-pound dog…. Kathryn was like a second “Mom” to our boy—-and sent us updates and pictures daily. We totally enjoyed our vacation worry-free because of Kathryn.

Alex, was fantastic and we've already hired him again to watch our pets and home while we're away. Our family had very important event out of town this past weekend and Alex was perfect in giving us peace of mind that everything at home was taken care of. He was self-sufficient and just gave us periodic updates with photos of the pets so we could just focus on our event. Thank you, Alex, we'll see you in a couple of weeks!
