I currently work remotely and have weekends off which gives me plenty of time for day visits or house sitting. My schedule is 9-5 which make it easy to do AM or afternoon walks as well. Weekends are wide open with no other obligations!

I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for every pet in my care. My apartment is pet-friendly, and I have a friendly cat that is comfortable around dogs, but I can always keep pets separated if needed. I will follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions. When caring for pets in your home, I will always be respectful of your space by keeping it clean, following your house rules, locking doors and windows, and treating your home with the same care I would my own. I'm willing to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and receiving the love and attention they deserve.

A typical day
I love to walk my neighborhood with the pet friends I meet! Some of my favorite spots to go are Wallace and The Fields park which are both very dog friendly. They offer off leash areas if they like to be social or nice grassy areas to spend some time alone if they prefer.

Erika has cared for our pets many times before! We’ve had guinea pigs in the past. They required multiple feedings a day. A long with some light cleaning of their enclosure. Erika has always been an excellent communicator. Provided updates, pictures and notified us of any notable changes in behavior when needed (elder piggies). We trust her with the care of our current dog; who loves her and gets super excited to be with her. Our frenchie is two and very high energy at times. Resulting in having to be reminded to take a breaks sometimes. We trust Erika! And see ourselves continuing to trust her with our future caregiving needs.
Erika has always had a natural gift with animals. She is kind, compassionate, patient, and deeply intuitive, especially when it comes to understanding what an animal needs to feel safe and comfortable. Animals are naturally drawn to her, and she has a special ability to connect with pets who may be shy, nervous, or hesitant around other people.
