“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I have had my own dog for 4 years currently, and I have taken care of my friend's animals before. This includes giving their cat's shots, feeding their cats and dogs and taking their dogs on walks. I have a dog whom I walk every day, and because it is summer break I have a lot of free time so I can walk other dogs as well. I treat mine and other dogs very well, making sure they get their needs met, and avoid letting them get into any trouble. Specifically for walks I like to keep them by my side when crossing streets, to make sure drivers see both me and the animal, and keeping a close eye on them so they don't eat anything off the ground.

And their farm animals as well. Also have experience from the Army training tracking and guard dogs. I am a retired latter carrier and a disabled Army Veteran. “Katie took wonderful care of my old lady dog Bailey while I was out of town for awhile. She was very communicative, asked me questions about Bailey's care and medications, sent me pictures of her and kept me updated on how she was doing, and always asked about my or Bailey's comfort level if they were doing anything new or different, like going to the beach. Bailey also adored the kids, and seemed very happy with her stay. She was living her best life during her visit with Katie, she almost didn't want to come home with me. Haha! Would highly recommend.”
