“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. It was like Christmas. I got pictures and video updates thought the day and report card at end of day. Kuka, my dog, loves their Rudy. They became buddies. I cant recommend them high enough!! Kuka went to doggie day care in the past and it always stressed her out. We tired 4 different places. She is super duper happy with Susan and family.”

“This was our first time booking with Rover, Barbara was amazing with our girl, she sent updates and great pictures, and she took a very good care of our Indie, she had so much fun playing with the other dogs and we felt so comfortable leaving her in Barbara's safe care. We are looking forward to the next time.”

“Jami was amazing and helped us out with a last minute work trip! She was flexible and did incredible hikes and outings with our dogs. They were so happy to be with Jami!”

“Roxanne did a great job with our puppy’s first daycare experience! I loved getting all the picture updates and see how happy he was when he saw horses for the first time! Roxanne is awesome!”

“Both Hayley and Graham have taken such special care of my labrador dog at their home. She loves the socialization and their home is very comfortable for doggy daycare. We appreciate you so much arranging your schedule to lovingly care for Emmie.”
“Nana was an incredible sitter- I could tell she cared a lot about making sure my dog was happy and comfortable while I was gone. She sent tons of pictures and my dog seemed relaxed and happy when I picked her up.”
About: Your dog should come home relaxed, not relieved it’s over. Some dogs want to come along on the good stuff with us: walks through Orenco Woods, hikes in the highlands, lazy afternoons at my sister’s duck farm. Others want a quiet couch and someone to sit with them, and that’s just as welcome. A year of professional sitting with consistent five-star reviews, and I’ve cared for everyone from a few-month-old puppy to a senior with arthritis. I take a maximum of two dog families at a time, so your dog gets real attention instead of a spot in a pack. No bite histories. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so dogs aren’t stuck alone for long stretches. Mornings start with yard time and breakfast. Midday is a walk or quiet rest, depending on what your dog wants. Evenings flex to the dog: longer walks and outings for the active ones, couch time for the dogs who’d rather decompress. You’ll get daily photos and videos so you can see how they’re actually doing. Plenty of dog gates and separation infrastructure means dogs and kids have their own space when needed, and new dogs can decompress before meeting my resident dogs. I do slow introductions before any overnight stay and keep food and medications on a clear schedule. Fully fenced backyard, single-story home, no stairs to navigate. Crates available if your dog prefers one. Your dog stays in a real household with people who actually want them there.
About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

“Another awesome day with Damon and his doggos. Uki always leaves so tired and happy. She’s still tired the next day and has really blossomed in her social skills.”

“While we were hesitant at first to leave our 4-month-old lab at doggy daycare. Kirsten has been great taking care of Atticus. She has always been responsive and gives updates and photos throughout his stay. Atticus loves it there and is always excited to be dropped off.”

“Betty was great with our little Moose. She was very communicative and quick with responding. I loved getting a photo and a video, it put me at ease to know our little pup was doing ok. Thank you Betty!”

“My dogs had an amazing time with Michael and Cindy! They got lots of exercise and love and snuggles. I felt completely at ease knowing they were being taken care of while I was away. The dogs even got baths and massages, and came home all fresh and clean. :) So, so, so happy with my experience.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and it’s truly one of my greatest joys. Whether I’m snuggling with a sweet senior pup or keeping up with a high-energy puppy, I treat every dog like family. In our home, your pup will get lots of love—not just from me, but also from my kind, dog-loving kids who are always excited to shower our furry guests with attention (and belly rubs!). You can count on me to give your dog the personalized care they deserve and to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your pup! Caring for pets is a natural, part of my routine. I tailor each visit to your pet’s needs—whether that means playtime, gentle care, or a good walk. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether in my home or yours, I follow your care instructions closely to ensure a safe, stress-free experience.
About: I have taken care of friends pets for years, and have had family pets-dogs, cats, fish and other critters on and off over the years. We work from home and our young dog loves to play in our large fenced in yard with all types and sizes of dogs. Feel confident your dog will be loved, exercised, and have fun while your away! We work from home and can step away to take the pups out when they need to and also take them out every few hours. We walk in the morning and play in the afternoon. Our large fenced in yard has plenty of sun, shade, and hiding places for hide and seek. The yard is all landscaped so you pup will also stay pretty clean during our wet winters. Your dog(s) will have fun playing and snuggling with our dog, Yuki! We have a secure, fenced in large yard that is fully landscaped. Your dog can be crated or be loose in the house for overnights. During walks, your dog will be leashed and can enjoy our walks in the morning. We have a large deck for your dog(s) to enjoy during lazy summer days and we have access downstairs and upstairs for your dog to come in the house when they want to take a break from the yard and hand out inside anytime during the day.

“I’m reluctant to even leave this review because Vanessa is so excellent that I don’t want her to be stolen from me:) She has been very accommodating and has made being a puppy parent so much easier. I will continue to use her for my doggy daycare needs. Highly recommended.”

“I know ollie had a great time at day care! He definitely got enough exercise without overdoing it as he’s a bit older now. Angelica was super accommodating with drip of and pick up times and made me feel super comfortable leaving him for the day.”

Barbara was wonderful with Zeke! She clearly understands dog behavior, play styles, and each dog's individual needs. From the moment we met her, it was obvious that she genuinely cares about the dogs in her care and takes the time to make them feel comfortable. Zeke seemed to have a great time during his stay and came home happy, relaxed, and pleasantly exhausted—which is always a good sign! It was reassuring to know he was in caring and knowledgeable hands. We would absolutely trust Barbara with Zeke again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and attentive dog sitter. 🐾❤️

Jacq always has an amazing time with Hiroe. He’s always so excited to go over and play with lumi and mokichi. We have been using their daycare and boarding for the last nine months, and I’ve had a great experience. Hiroe is communicative, flexible, and send pictures and videos for updates nearly every visit. Should she return to Rover, we will definitely be using again!

Jami is an incredible sitter! She watched my anxious Golden Retriever for daycare a few times and it was clear she truly understands dog behavior. She was so patient and kind with my nervous dog and even communicated a clear plan for how she would help her settle in. Jami is calm and happy herself, which made it so easy to talk with her about any concerns. She responded quickly to text questions, followed feeding instructions perfectly, and respected my leashing preferences when they went on a hike. Jami sent regular updates. Jamie has a beautiful, large, fenced yard with a large deck full of pet beds and even a same-level floor dedicated just for the dogs. It's kind of like a fancy resort for pups! I knew my dog was going to have a wonderful time and I picked up a calm, happy, and tired pup. I can’t recommend her enough!

I am very happy with Marla & Keith, because Cassie received a lot of one-on-one attention. Marla is an expert at making a new dog (Cassie) feel at home in a new environment. Cassie was welcomed on walks with the other dogs - all of them much bigger than she is. And she got lap time too. The photos were a nice bonus. 😊

I’m beyond grateful for the wonderful care our dog sitter provided for my two dogs! It’s not easy adjusting to a new country, and everything has been overwhelming for them—especially my female dog who has been struggling with separation anxiety. But our sitter showed so much patience, understanding, and genuine love toward both of them. She took the time to make them feel safe and comfortable, and it truly shows how passionate and dedicated she is about what she does. Knowing my fur babies were in such caring hands gave me so much peace of mind. Thank you so much for treating them like your own—you made a big difference in this transition for our little family! ❤️🐾
