About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I can’t pass a dog without wanting to give it love and attention! I truly believe dogs make life better and are good for the soul. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — from a Shar Pei and a Standard Poodle to a wolf hybrid, and most recently a rescue Pittie-Boxer mix. Over the years, I’ve learned that every dog is unique, and I’ve developed the skills to understand and respect each dog’s personality and needs. Caring for our sweet rescue pup, who had severe separation anxiety and fear of other dogs, taught me the importance of reading dog signals and being observant of other dogs and people to prevent conflicts during walks. I’m lucky to work from home, which allowed me to spend quality time walking and playing with my dog every day. I miss that daily outdoor adventure and would love to take your pup for walks, playtime, and cuddles. With me, your dog will be in caring hands. I treat every dog like my own, giving them love, attention, and plenty of exercise. Whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or just some quality snuggle time, your pup’s happiness and well-being are my top priority. I currently work from home full time and can give your pet frequent potty breaks and a daily walk and play time. I live 4 mins from the Westside Regional Trail so I have a great options for giving your pup exercise. My kiddos come home from school around 5 and your pup will have a couple play buddies or cuddle buddies depending on their preference. On the weekends we love to spend time in our fenced yard and go for walks on the trail to stop at parks or even grab a puppachino! We live in a large home with a fully fenced yard. As a parent of two littles, I have baby gates if needed to keep a pup safe in the home or crated if requested. I work from home full time and your pup wouldn't be alone M-F for more than 2 hours. If they stay with us for the weekend, we would prioritize being home for your pup so they feel safe and comfortable.

I take a maximum of two dog families at a time, so your dog gets real attention instead of a spot in a pack. No bite histories. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so dogs aren’t stuck alone for long stretches. Mornings start with yard time and breakfast. Midday is a walk or quiet rest, depending on what your dog wants. Evenings flex to the dog: longer walks and outings for the active ones, couch time for the dogs who’d rather decompress. You’ll get daily photos and videos so you can see how they’re actually doing. Plenty of dog gates and separation infrastructure means dogs and kids have their own space when needed, and new dogs can decompress before meeting my resident dogs.
