“My little dog Clara absolutely adores Susan and Ian and their two big dogs. They have such a wonderful dynamic with their intelligent, energetic dogs, and it melts my heart to see Clara be welcomed into their pack. She comes home so happy and tired from a full day of exercise, play, affection, and relaxing among her favorite spots. Their pickup add-on is really wonderful, and Clara gets so excited when she realizes it's time to go have fun with Baz and Ruby! It is so special to see my little dog and other new friends in daycare all confidently playing together. Every daycare dog she's met with them has been an immediate friend--not always what you expect with a chihuahua away from mom and home--and that speaks to how thoughtfully Susan and Ian manage the group. They have a real gift for understanding different dogs so that they feel comfortable, safe, and included. I trust them completely with Clara and couldn't recommend them more highly.”
About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: Hey! We're Matt and Shawna! We're a young, dog-loving couple with a furry pup of our own! Together, we would love to meet your pups and keep them company while you're away! While in California, Shawna was an active dogsitter for DogVacay which eventually turned into Rover! She's the snuggler; she'll love giving tons of belly rubs/hugs/kisses to your pups! Matt stays super active and loves going on long walks/runs/hikes with your pups. Your pups are guaranteed to get great exercise with him! Message us for any questions you may have! We look forward to meeting you & your pup(s)! Matt works remotely from home, and Shawna is a self-employed beauty professional. This allows for tons of flexibility. Our pup also loves having friends around! We live in a safe community with a park within the neighborhood. We take our pup on long walks and occasional trips to dog parks.

Great outdoor space. Love the way they introduced our dog to other dogs, slow and cautious so they have time to adjust. Highly recommend these people to care for your doggo, they are kind and loving. They gave regular updates and lots of photos. Would bring Fudge here again!
We used Kelly while visiting the area from out of state, and she was fantastic with our miniature schnauzer. She was able to accommodate us on very short notice, which we really appreciated. Our dog can be a little anxious around other dogs, and even though Kelly was boarding other dogs at the time, she made sure our pup felt safe, comfortable, and never overwhelmed. She also sent us pictures and videos throughout the stay, which gave us great peace of mind. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely book with Kelly again and highly recommend her!
Odalis agreed to watch our dog on short notice so that we could attend a celebration of life for a family member. She and her family took great care of Echo and were flexible with our uncertain pick up time. They had a spacious yard for Echo to play fetch and run around with another dog. We would definitely take Echo back to Odalis.
Kangna and Saawan are excellent pet sitters. We left our sweet pups with them for a long day and our usually shy girl warmed right up after a short introduction to each of them. We were a bit nervous about this experience prior to dropping off Maggie because we’ve never left her with anyone else. So happy we did…these two people are the ideal couple to leave a beloved pet with for any amount of time! Thanks so much, Kangna and Saawa!!! We would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a safe, calm, and loving place to leave their pet for a few hours, a whole day, or an extended stay.
The best dog sitters I could ask for! I received frequent updates accompanied with photos of my dog having the time of his life. I know when Arlo is with Ian and Susan he is loved and being well taken care of at all times. They treat him like a member of the family and I would recommend them 100 times over!
Barbara was wonderful with Zeke! She clearly understands dog behavior, play styles, and each dog's individual needs. From the moment we met her, it was obvious that she genuinely cares about the dogs in her care and takes the time to make them feel comfortable. Zeke seemed to have a great time during his stay and came home happy, relaxed, and pleasantly exhausted—which is always a good sign! It was reassuring to know he was in caring and knowledgeable hands. We would absolutely trust Barbara with Zeke again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and attentive dog sitter. 🐾❤️
Jacq always has an amazing time with Hiroe. He’s always so excited to go over and play with lumi and mokichi. We have been using their daycare and boarding for the last nine months, and I’ve had a great experience. Hiroe is communicative, flexible, and send pictures and videos for updates nearly every visit. Should she return to Rover, we will definitely be using again!
