“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. It was like Christmas. I got pictures and video updates thought the day and report card at end of day. Kuka, my dog, loves their Rudy. They became buddies. I cant recommend them high enough!! Kuka went to doggie day care in the past and it always stressed her out. We tired 4 different places. She is super duper happy with Susan and family.”

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I’ve owned and cared for animals my entire life. I’ve owned four beautiful dogs, Snapper, Buster, Treaka, and Cleo. I’ve also owned two cats, a tabby named Netty and a calico named Landscape. Landscape had a thyroid disorder during her lifetime, so I have experience administering medication. I also watched neighbor’s animals during their vacations. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve owned a rat named Charlie, three guinea pigs named Blanka, Snickers, and Pocky, a tortoise named Archibald, and many many fish. I am very knowledgeable about care for many types of animals. I am a stay at home mom of three kiddos age four and under. I am able to change my schedule around to accommodate animal care usually. I have a fenced yard and a large lawn area if needed for home care. Any animal would need to be ok with young children being around. I am very detail oriented and flourish on lists and schedules so that would be greatly appreciated.

“I am very happy with Marla & Keith, because Cassie received a lot of one-on-one attention. Marla is an expert at making a new dog (Cassie) feel at home in a new environment. Cassie was welcomed on walks with the other dogs - all of them much bigger than she is. And she got lap time too. The photos were a nice bonus. 😊”

I’ve got a big fenced yard and a doggie door, so the pups can run and play freely. I’ve also been involved in dog showing and agility, so I’m pretty knowledgeable about all things dog-related! I am currently working from home, and have time to take care of your beloved pet while you are away. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture. I have a large fenced yard, and three friendly Mini American Shepherds that love to play. I have rooms separated by gates, and extra crates for when a pup needs a little space.
