i am retired, so my schedule is very flexible, and I have a lot of time to devote to your pets! We can schedule either ongoing regular walks and/or training and/or drop-in visits or occasional ones, depending upon your schedule. I can also arrange dog playdates/socialization with my well trained collie !

It will help if I know ahead of time whether your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I should be aware of. How well your pup is socialized with other people and dogs is also a very important piece of information that will help me create the best possible experience for your pup.
A typical day
I love to make every walk a positive experience by varying walks (different areas, terrain) and having fun adventures, while working on loose leash training, as needed. Our walks will satisfy dogs' needs to explore, exercise, and get some of that energy used up...while we have fun doing it !

I am a lifelong pet parent and have been training dogs using positive reinforcement methods for a living as a company employee for the past 9 years. During that time, I have also walked and taken care of many clients' dogs and cats. Now I am recently retired and am going out on my own to continue the career that I love! I have devoted my time to positive training and taking care of all ages and breeds of dogs from young puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats. If you need someone to walk and check in on your babies while you're at work , I am happy to do that. If you're looking for training for your young puppy or dog on your schedule, that will work! I have a solid background in pet nutrition and health and am happy to advise on pet needs and deal with any special health needs your pet has.

Barbara is wonderful! Our puppy Franklin was so welcomed by her and her pack, and he had the best time! He got to play, learn, rest, and feel loved while under her care for a whole week. Barbara sent daily updates with multiple photos and descriptions of how he was doing, allowing us to feel connected to our puppy and comfortable with his stay. We will one hundred percent trust Barbara with Franklin again, he would love coming back to stay at her house! Thank you for treating our puppy like he was your own!

Barbara was wonderful! Super communicative and so attentive to our little pup, Avery. He loved her backyard and he also seemed to enjoy her other three pups.
Barbara was wonderful with Zeke! She clearly understands dog behavior, play styles, and each dog's individual needs. From the moment we met her, it was obvious that she genuinely cares about the dogs in her care and takes the time to make them feel comfortable. Zeke seemed to have a great time during his stay and came home happy, relaxed, and pleasantly exhausted—which is always a good sign! It was reassuring to know he was in caring and knowledgeable hands.
