“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. It was like Christmas. I got pictures and video updates thought the day and report card at end of day. Kuka, my dog, loves their Rudy. They became buddies. I cant recommend them high enough!! Kuka went to doggie day care in the past and it always stressed her out. We tired 4 different places. She is super duper happy with Susan and family.”
About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I have three adorable Mini American Shepherds, so while I love all dogs, herding breeds are definitely my specialty. I’ve got a big fenced yard and a doggie door, so the pups can run and play freely. I’ve also been involved in dog showing and agility, so I’m pretty knowledgeable about all things dog-related! I am currently working from home, and have time to take care of your beloved pet while you are away. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture. About: Due to issues with marking, I will only sit female dogs. I have two small rescue dogs of my own - both are under 15 pounds and gentle and playful with one another. I'll pamper your dog just as I do my own with plenty of cuddles, a calm environment and a fenced yard for potty breaks. About: I’m a huge animal lover and truly enjoy caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I’m very dependable and trustworthy, and I treat every animal with the same love and care I would give my own. I also make sure pets stay on their normal routines and always keep owners updated so they know their pet is happy and safe. This and Uber Eats are my full time jobs. I will only be gone for a couple hours in the evening for Uber Eats some days and Sunday early afternoons I have church but other than that I’m available. About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs my entire life. I loved my childhood dogs whole heartedly through their years and was a primary member in their care when they were seniors. Recently, my family adopted a puppy as well, so I am comfortable with working with young dogs who need more attention and training. I am very familiar with regular day to day at home dog care as well as paying attention while dog walking for distractions, other dogs, or safety concerns. I am currently in college from Monday through Thursday during the morning to the afternoon, but if you message me I can let you know if I’m available! I will not be able to offer day care in my home as my family recently adopted a puppy. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.
About: I've had cats and dogs growing up my whole life. I was the primary caregiver, trainer and best friend. I also took care of many of the neighbors cats and dogs while they were away. And their farm animals as well. Also have experience from the Army training tracking and guard dogs. I am a retired latter carrier and a disabled Army Veteran. I have all the time in the world to devote to caring for your pets when needed. Particularly with dogs during the day. Walking is great for your dog and gets me the exercise that I need. About: My wife works from home, so your pet will spend very little time alone if boarding at our home. If we are checking in at your home, we will send as many pics and vids as you would like! About: I love dogs and their unconditional love. They seem to be the completing element in families. I grew up with an American Eskimo and then a greyhound. I have nannied 3 dogs from one family for several years- a dachshund, Welsch terrier, and standard poodle. About: I have taken care of friends pets for years, and have had family pets-dogs, cats, fish and other critters on and off over the years. We work from home and our young dog loves to play in our large fenced in yard with all types and sizes of dogs. Feel confident your dog will be loved, exercised, and have fun while your away! We work from home and can step away to take the pups out when they need to and also take them out every few hours. We walk in the morning and play in the afternoon. Our large fenced in yard has plenty of sun, shade, and hiding places for hide and seek. The yard is all landscaped so you pup will also stay pretty clean during our wet winters. Your dog(s) will have fun playing and snuggling with our dog, Yuki! We have a secure, fenced in large yard that is fully landscaped. Your dog can be crated or be loose in the house for overnights. During walks, your dog will be leashed and can enjoy our walks in the morning. We have a large deck for your dog(s) to enjoy during lazy summer days and we have access downstairs and upstairs for your dog to come in the house when they want to take a break from the yard and hand out inside anytime during the day.
