About: As a cat mom myself, I know how important it is to know that your cat is being well taken care of while you are away. As a cat sitter, my mission is to provide reliable and quality care. I enjoy learning about cats and their preferences. Like my cat for instance, she is not one to jump around for toys, but the moment I offer chin scratches and a warm place to sit on my legs, she is all for it. About: I’ve always been the person who stops to pet every dog or cat I see around the neighborhood, so getting to spend more time with animals is pretty much my idea of a good day. 🐾 I have experience caring for cats in a few different settings: cat sitting for neighbors, caring for dogs and cats as a Kennel Attendant at VCA Rock Creek Hospital, and providing pet care for clients through my local animal-care company, Tails and Trails. I currently volunteer at Animal Aid as a Socializer and Caregiver, where I help care for cats in need of homes. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I've been dog sitting for friends and family for over 7 years. I love dogs and love going on walks with them! I have experience with nervous dogs and higher energy dogs, I've dog-sat rescues, 1-year-olds with their bouncing off the walls, and seniors. I help my mom with in-home child care during the week from Monday to Thursday but I have free time outside of that. I usually can start the day by 7am but will start moving earlier if the dog needs it! I have a smaller fenced backyard with some dog neighbors. We have some guinea pigs in our home but they're upstairs in an elevated cage with a gate at the bottom of the stairs. About: Welcome to Pup Paradise! We have a large fenced in backyard and fenced front yard patio area for running and playing! There is also a nice walking trail just around the corner from our house too. Our house is spacious with hardwood floors. There are lots of cozy areas to sleep and cuddle. We keep it clean. As for pet experience, I had my previous dog BJ for 14 years and worked at an animal hospital in Chicago for 2+ years. I am very attentive to my own pup's needs as I will be to yours! Fozzie Bear, a 2 year old Border Terrier mix, is my furry companion. We love to go on long walks and hikes together. About: I grew up with an amazing and loyal Golden retriever, and an adorable mixed terrier. Now I have a sun spoiled kitty. I love exploring and enjoying activities with a fluffy companion. About: I grew up with five dogs from small to large. And now I love the crap out of dogs. I'm known as the dog whisperer at the dog parks. Definitely will have lots of cuddles, chases around the house, and lots of dogs to play and socialize with. At home, the dogs will have the run of the home. And my dog will leave them alone. I generally have other dogs that get along well. I have a small fenced yard so they have free access to potty in the backyard as I leave the door open. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Generally I'll take the dogs on at least one 1.5mile jog per day. And then whatever rough housing they get into around the house Animals have free roam of the house. I have a fenced yard although it's small there is a doggy door so they can get in and out.
About: Growing up in the country, I was constantly taking in strays. Since age 10 I have been caring for several different kinds of animals, all with varying needs and personalities! I would love to be able to continue caring for new animals, and get to know my community through that as well :) I am new to the area and am hoping to full-time pet sit for my first month or so here! “Saawan and Kangna were the best!! Our corgi is a lot to handle sometimes, being a high energy breed, with his barking, and corgi habits. And they did such a great job with him. He came home happy and tired. We loved the regular updates they sent and were so happy to see pictures always popping up while we were on our trip. We loved their communications and flexibility when we had a 5 minute delay picking up. We will sure be adding Saawan and Kangna to the top of our list for sitters.”

“Katie was fantastic. This was a great first time user experience. During the meet and greet, Katie's easygoing attitude made me comfortable with leaving my fairly new adopted dog in her care. The fact that she showed a clear understanding of hound dog behavior was the icing on the cake. She was very flexible with my schedule change on drop off and pickup. She went above and beyond by letting me pick my doggo up at a really late hour of the day. Her quick pics and updates on Chloe during her stay was just right. Chloe was very happy with her experience and we will definitely use Katie in the future! Thank you for taking care of Chloe!”
