“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. It was like Christmas. I got pictures and video updates thought the day and report card at end of day. Kuka, my dog, loves their Rudy. They became buddies. I cant recommend them high enough!! Kuka went to doggie day care in the past and it always stressed her out. We tired 4 different places. She is super duper happy with Susan and family.”
About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

By the time I pick her up, she’s ready to eat and relax for the rest of the evening. He has a spacious and clean backyard for the dogs to roam/play around in without it feeling too crowded. About: Due to issues with marking, I will only sit female dogs. I have two small rescue dogs of my own - both are under 15 pounds and gentle and playful with one another. I'll pamper your dog just as I do my own with plenty of cuddles, a calm environment and a fenced yard for potty breaks. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.
About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs my entire life. I loved my childhood dogs whole heartedly through their years and was a primary member in their care when they were seniors. Recently, my family adopted a puppy as well, so I am comfortable with working with young dogs who need more attention and training. I am very familiar with regular day to day at home dog care as well as paying attention while dog walking for distractions, other dogs, or safety concerns. I am currently in college from Monday through Thursday during the morning to the afternoon, but if you message me I can let you know if I’m available! “We still cannot get over how amazing Saawan and Kangna are! We’ve never felt more comfortable leaving Piggy with anyone ever. The frequent updates and pictures we received were amazing, they went above and beyond, and we felt so reassured that Piggy was in good hands. Honestly, we’re a little hesitant to leave this review, because we want them all to ourself lol, but they are such incredible sitters, we couldn’t recommend them more!”
