About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.
About: I have three adorable Mini American Shepherds, so while I love all dogs, herding breeds are definitely my specialty. I’ve got a big fenced yard and a doggie door, so the pups can run and play freely. I’ve also been involved in dog showing and agility, so I’m pretty knowledgeable about all things dog-related! I am currently working from home, and have time to take care of your beloved pet while you are away. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture. About: I’ve had my own dogs since I was very little and always had the responsibilities of taking care of them. I’ve had my own little one since I adopted her 12 years ago, she’s my best friend. Every dog I see I NEED to pet them and say hi, as long as the owner is ok with that. Making sure a dog is comfortable with me is also important so I will always make them feel loved and treat them kindly. I’m currently a stay at home mom so I have a pretty open schedule. I do a quick school drop off in the mornings and pickup in the afternoons but my day to day is always the same and can easily fit animal care into it. In my own home I have a small terrier named Penny and a cat named Penelope who both get along great with other pets. My yard is not completely closed off so walks in my neighborhood would be best. I have wooden stairs that I’ve added tread to so there’s no slipping for the dogs. I have a crate for small/medium dogs if they need a place to relax on their own. Tons of blankets for them to curl up in as well.

About: I've had cats and dogs growing up my whole life. I was the primary caregiver, trainer and best friend. I also took care of many of the neighbors cats and dogs while they were away. And their farm animals as well. Also have experience from the Army training tracking and guard dogs. I am a retired latter carrier and a disabled Army Veteran.
