Hi pet parents! I’ve been volunteering at shelters, fostering, and pet-sitting for 30 years. I’m highly active and will outwalk your dog! I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, hamsters and fish - and animals have been integral to my life ever since. I have tons of experience with lease-reactive dogs and have had two dogs who were biters who became my best friends after a few patient weeks. I also have given meds and injections. I can’t get enough cuddles, and there isn't a single pet that I can’t win over. 🥰

I follow your lead in terms of what makes you and your pets feel comfortable and am very adaptable with all types of pet personalities due to my shelter experience. I’ve managed many leash reactive dogs on walks and can also just play fetch in the backyard for long periods of time!

Lesley was absolutely wonderful as our home and dog sitter while we were abroad for two weeks. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing both our home and our fur babies were in such capable and caring hands. She took incredible care of our dogs, keeping them happy, loved, and on their routines. It’s clear she treats both pets homes with genuine care and respect. We came back to calm, well-cared-for pups and a house that felt just as we left it, which is truly the best feeling after traveling. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire Lesley again and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and thoughtful sitter.

Lesley was super enthusiastic to meet the pets and the house was very clean when we got home from our trip which we very much appreciated! I received photos of the pets as well during her stay and they were in good spirits when we returned. There were however a few lapses of communication during the stay. The house guide I provided wasn’t being read as much as I had anticipated, which lead to me repeating a lot of information via text during the trip. We also realized from notifications from our ring camera that she was away from the home hours longer than the limits we had initially agreed upon. This was not communicated to us at all and we only realized after the fact. Overall we would have preferred better communication regarding the stay but we were glad that the pets and house were okay while we were gone!
Lesley was very communicative and took great care of my babies! She is very caring and observant.

Schedule
I work part-time/remotely as a voice acting coach. I’m very flexible! I’m happy to have a schedule that allows for lots of time to love your pet. With that said, I’m happy to commit time to driving to meet you and your pets and chat before you commit. After that I request you schedule a drop in if another meeting is required. If it’s just a key exchange at that point either hiding it or bringing it to me would work too. Thank you!
