“Jean was very kind and helpful. I was nervous leaving my puppy for the first time (I spent a long time making a decision and even visited other homes), but I felt comfortable leaving him there and I think he had lots of one on one time and was not alone very much. She seemed to really enjoy her time with my puppy (who is a bit of a handful despite his size). She checked in with photos every day. They went for lots of walks and play time and he seemed very well cared for overall. She even dropped him off for me as I was getting in on a late flight. She is obviously a loving, fun person and enjoys dogs a lot. I would recommend her to other dog owners. Thanks Jean!!”

“Nadine took SUCH good care of my pups! They loved their time with her. The backyard is amazing… so much room to roam. And her pets got along so well with mine. Lots of communication and photos. It was so nice to know my babies were being loved on so much while I was away. I’d definitely recommend Nadine!!!!”

“He was able to come to my rescue when I was on a trip and ended up in the hospital. He kept me updated and provided a lot of pictures. I would definitely recommend him to everyone!!”

“Susie, I am so grateful for the loving care you gave our Yorkie while we were away on Vacation for 12 days. I loved getting the pictures and news of her making new pup friends. I appreciate your experience and knowledge of small dog behaviors that made it easier on Charlot and us. We were able to relax while knowing she was happy and cared for. Although a bit nervous at drop off I could tell when we picked her how well adjusted and comfortable she became. Thank you for your reliable and friendly service.”

“Hannah and Blake were fantastic. This was our first long trip away from Barry, and we booked on very short notice. They provided us with pictures and videos of Barry, daily! He made tons of friends and got to play outdoors nearly the whole time. The couple were very easy to communicate with and very friendly. We highly recommend these two to watch your pup on your next trip. We know Barry can’t wait to go back!”

“Nancy was absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our girl with anyone so we were very nervous on how it would go! Nancy was so reassuring that Paisley would do well. She sent us pictures to keep us updated on how she was doing. Paisley came home one happy girl! We are so thankful to have found Nancy and highly recommend her!! We will definitely use her in the future!”

“Elizabeth and Sterling were fantastic. I booked last minute without much time for a meet and greet, and not only did they oblige and still meet same day, they made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with them. Their dog Lilo is such a sweetheart as well! They provided updates and exercise and I knew my pup was in good hands. Thank you so much for your great care! And I'm sorry again for the late plane arrival on my return!”

“Hanlan was great in her care of our cat. She forwarded pics and videos daily showing our cat playing and being comfortable with her care. We hope to have her care in the future and Highly recommend her to all.”

“Amanda and Jaime took fantastic care of my dog and went above and beyond to make him comfortable. My dog is still a puppy and this was his first time away from us for an extended period of time, but the boarder did her best to ensure he felt safe and tried to ease his anxiety as much as possible. I will definitely use Amanda and Jamie for my future boarding needs!”

“Carolyn had our 14 year old Dixie for 2 weeks. Carolyn enjoyed our Rocky and Rocky really enjoyed Carolyn. Carolyn kept us informed on how he was doing while we were gone, and sent photos. Rocky was in good spirits when we returned to pick him up and he’s doing just fine at home. Carolyn gave Rocky a lot of attention and love, and we couldn’t be happier. We’re looking forward to having Carolyn sit Rocky again in the near future. Thank you Carolyn!”
“Marybeth and family took good care of our dog Toby for a week. I believe Toby had as good a vacation as we did! He got to play with Zoey and keep an eye on the cats. He spent time relaxing on the back deck watching the chickens. Working out the details with Marybeth was easy and she's quick to respond. She's obviously good with animals.”

“Melodie has watched Maisie twice. While Maisie can be great with other dogs in a large dog park, sometimes in confined spaces her herding, bossie Corgi side of her comes out, but there has never been a problem at Melodie's. She has a nice back yard for the doggies to roam. She is great with the dogs!”

“Our pup Bijou had a wonderful vacation with Jamie and Nicole while we were away. She went on some nice walks, and a couple of longer hikes during her week with them. We feel very comfortable leaving her in their care. She is always well treated and loved during her stays.”

“Samantha and Brian’s family watched our Wheaten Terrier for two weeks. They kept us updated with photos and we knew he was in good hands. Thanks for giving Charlie lots of snuggles while we were away.”

“Shari was great! She sent photos of my puppies daily and cared for them like her own. She is an excellent communicator and seemed well-tuned to my dogs' needs during their stay. I will use her again. Thank you, Shari, for taking such good care of my pups!”

“Mara was an incredible dog sitter for our girl Nala. She was so thoughtful in all the ways and thoroughly updated us on her status throughout the day for her entire stay, putting our mind at ease. It's clear that Mara is doing this for her love of dogs and felt a deep sigh of relief knowing our doggie was in her care. We so look forward to working with her again!”

“Linda was great with my dog and was very communicative. She went above and beyond to make my dog’s stay more comfortable. I would book with her again for any future dog sitting services.”

“Veronica was very attentive and sent pics, Bogey seemed to be having a blast! She has an excellent setup at her house and is a trustworthy and caring person. Thank you Veronica for the TLC you gave Bogey while I was out of town backpacking! Much appreciated!!”

“Our little senior doxie, Rocky, spent 2 weeks with Barbara and we couldn’t be more happy with how it went! Barbara gave him lots of love and cuddles, and they spent some time watching Dodger baseball together. Rocky can’t wait for the next time he can spend time with Barbara 😊”

“I had a wonderful experience with Summer checking in and visiting my young and shy kitty Casper! She was always on time or early, and her communication was and is excellent. She sent updates with pictures and videos, and I had total peace of mind knowing Casper was in good hands while I was away. She is so wonderful, she brought little gifts and treats for Casper! I trust and recommend Summer, and I would definitely book her again in the future! 🫶🏼”

About: My cat Tom was my first that I had after moving from my parents. I adopted her from the humane society and had her for 10 years. For the last couple years of her life she was diabetic and needed insulin shots 2x per day.
“Amir took great care of our cats and cow while we were away on our trip to Seattle! He was super detailed and asked a lot of great questions during the meet and greet to make sure he was prepared. He was super punctual and took great care of our animals! We will definitely use him again in the future when we need to! Highly recommend!”

“Kaylee was amazing! She spent time with our kitties, played with them, fed them, and even gave them treats that her cat didn’t love. She was a clear communicator and reliable! We’d have her watch our cats any time!”

“Shianne is a lovely pet sitter. She did drop in care for my cats Finney and Olive and asked all the right questions. Having just moved into my place the cats were a bit aloof and standoffish and still getting used to their surroundings but eventually warmed up to Shianne and even let her pet them. I will definitely utilize her pet sitting services again soon.”

“ChristyLynn, did a great job! She always sent me updates and pictures with each visit. Felt relt really secure with her in taking care of my cats during visits. Totally recommend her with cat care.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. “Matthew did an amazing job coming by our house to check on our cat and gather our mail. He contacted us with updates on how everything was. Would definitely have him house sit again in the future.”

“Colin was phenomenal at taking care of our pup! He left detailed notes that gave us great updates and peace of mind that our dog was well cared for. Colin took our dog out for a walk, even when not necessary, to give her extra attention and stimulation. We came back to one happy dog and safe home!”

“I’ve used Karly now three times as my cat-sitter while away to take care of my two cats, and just recently, for two weeks while out of the country. She’s great!! She makes sure my two babies are well taken care of - she’s gotten to know both of their personalities and tends to both of their needs (one’s playfulness and the other’s snuggles/pets)! She goes above and beyond and also considers me and the house while gone out of the country (by taking out the trash on trash day for example). She’s also a great communicator and I feel at ease trusting her to take care of both my cats and my home while away!”

“Megan was a fantastic companion to my cat while I was away. Very good communication and 100% reliable. Highly recommend and will reach out to her again next time I need cat sitting.”

We will definitely book Jaimo again. :) Thank you!!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for pets of many different breeds, sizes, personalities, and behavioral needs. Being a lifelong pet owner has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every animal is different. I currently share my home with Pigeon, my 8-year-old rescue, who has given me even more appreciation for the patience and trust that can be especially important with rescue animals. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s individual routine and personality, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same care, attention, and respect I give my own. Building relationships with animals is an incredibly rewarding experience and something I truly cherish. I am currently a student at Oregon State University pursuing a Botany degree. All of my classes are virtual, so I am extremely flexible with my schedule and availability. I’m a big believer in meeting pets where they’re at. Some want to play and explore, some want nonstop attention, and others just need a little patience and space to warm up. I’ll get to know your pet’s personality and routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Walks, playtime, belly rubs, quiet company—I’m happy to provide whatever makes them feel most at home!
About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs in the house, even one gerbil! Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their animals since the age of 12, and I have experience administering medication and feel comfortable with any extra care your pet may require. I am a freelancer and my last contract ended recently. I am appreciating this downtime, which means I have an open schedule to provide care throughout the day for your pets. I would like to meet your pet in their own environment to keep continuity, and am happy to set up a check-in schedule with you for updates about your pet’s day and routine, including pictures if requested.
“Stephanie was fantastic. She went above and beyond. She took great care of my dogs. And she did the full walks in the rainstorms. I would definitely recommend and hire her again.”

“He was able to come to my rescue when I was on a trip and ended up in the hospital. He kept me updated and provided a lot of pictures. I would definitely recommend him to everyone!!”

“Liz was fantastic and had excellent communication. She loved on our pup and took extra special care of him while we were away. Would trust her with our pup anytime!”

“Veronica was very attentive and sent pics, Bogey seemed to be having a blast! She has an excellent setup at her house and is a trustworthy and caring person. Thank you Veronica for the TLC you gave Bogey while I was out of town backpacking! Much appreciated!!”

“Jessica took such great care of PB while we were away! I can tell she kept him busy and active by how sleepy he’s been since coming home. He’s one happy guy, and it’s clear he had a great time with her!”

“My elderly Austrailian Shepherd (15, lame, mostly deaf and blind) had an awesome stay with Bonnie, her very sweet, well behaved dog and two or three other boarding dogs for 10 days!! I hate leaving my old fellow for that long but I got pictures and updates every day that kept me abreast of how well he was doing. I think he actually enjoyed his time with his new friends. Bonnie is obviously sensitive and skilled as a doggy care provider! I will use her services again.”

“Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Lucky while I was away. Getting your daily updates and cute photos gave me total peace of mind. I could relax knowing Lucky was happy. I would love to book with you again next time I travel.”

“Our pup, Chicken, had a great time at Nicole and Colton’s! So far since being home all she has done is sleep! Nicole sent picture and video updates so we knew our gal was having a great time! We’ll definitely rebook in the future!”

About: I am a dog groomer and sitter of 3 years, I have a standard poodle and a Mexican hairless dog. I also show my Mexican hairless dog in akc dog shows. I have experience with reactive dogs, intact dogs, and primitive dogs. My specialty is aloof breeds as I love the connection and bond, it makes it even more special when they trust you. I work full time as a dog groomer and admin at barkzone, but your pup would be able to come with me and hang out in the office safely away from the other pups with fresh water and access to a backyard for supervised potty time I have a separate dog room for feeding time and kennels for unsupervised time away from them. If they need to sleep in a kennel I have extras or they can sleep with me. I do not have a fenced yard but I can offer structured walks around the block or to the parks! And lots of play time
“Cassie took care of our dog for several days, with only a few days’ notice. We appreciate her updates and communication throughout Clyde’s stay. He seemed to stay active and playful with the other dogs. We found Cassie to be very helpful. Thank you, Cassie!!”
