“Noemi was very proactive and communicative with me about Elroy over the days she was with her! We got lots of photos and felt like Elroy was well cared for 💖 Thank you Noemi!”

“Jessica took such great care of PB while we were away! I can tell she kept him busy and active by how sleepy he’s been since coming home. He’s one happy guy, and it’s clear he had a great time with her!”

“Julie is sweet and kind and the animals love her. My senior dog had the best stay with her. Lots of cuddles and a safe warm environment! I will definitely book Julie again and again!”

“My elderly Austrailian Shepherd (15, lame, mostly deaf and blind) had an awesome stay with Bonnie, her very sweet, well behaved dog and two or three other boarding dogs for 10 days!! I hate leaving my old fellow for that long but I got pictures and updates every day that kept me abreast of how well he was doing. I think he actually enjoyed his time with his new friends. Bonnie is obviously sensitive and skilled as a doggy care provider! I will use her services again.”

“Anastasia was fantastic! My dogs warmed up to her so fast, it was like they already knew each other. She gave frequent updates and loved them like family. She was even accommodating when we had travel plans change on us because of the weather. We’re definitely going to book with her again!”

“Wonderful care for our playful doggie! We got notes, pictures or videos each day. Very communicative with drop off and pick up which was nice. They board other dogs and have their own so it was great fun for our social goldendoodle. She got pretty muddy playing toward the end so they even gave her a bath for an additional fee on the last day. Would definitely use again!”

About: I am a dog groomer and sitter of 3 years, I have a standard poodle and a Mexican hairless dog. I also show my Mexican hairless dog in akc dog shows. I have experience with reactive dogs, intact dogs, and primitive dogs. My specialty is aloof breeds as I love the connection and bond, it makes it even more special when they trust you. I work full time as a dog groomer and admin at barkzone, but your pup would be able to come with me and hang out in the office safely away from the other pups with fresh water and access to a backyard for supervised potty time I have a separate dog room for feeding time and kennels for unsupervised time away from them. If they need to sleep in a kennel I have extras or they can sleep with me. I do not have a fenced yard but I can offer structured walks around the block or to the parks! And lots of play time

“I cannot say enough positive things about Alyssa! I give her 11/10 stars. She was so absolutely wonderful with my pup, kind and responsive and caring. This is the best Rover experience I've had thus far by miles. I will definitely be rebooking in the future 💜🐶”

“Cassie is so thoughtful and thorough when caring for your pet. She has a well thought-out plan to ensure they feel as comfortable as possible and reviews everything about your pet with you beforehand. I was nervous as we hadn’t had our pet long so I was unsure how he’d do in a new setting, but she was very understanding and I felt at ease knowing my pup was being watch by someone so caring!”

“Laura was absolutely amazing!! It was very clear that she treated my dogs with much love and care. She sent regular check-ins with pictures. I felt very relieved to know they were being treated so well!”

“Keelan and Sabrina were amazing with my boy Tabor. They sent daily updates with great pics and videos of Tabor playing and hanging out with their sweet pups and took him on several walks every day. Tabor seemed right at home with them!”

“Bonnie was great to work with when she took care of my Jarvis when I went out of town for a few days. She is very communicative and provides photo updates regularly. Would definitely re-book w/ Bonnie again in the future.”

“Our dog, Indigo, had a great time at Sandy’s! Sandy was very communicative and sent us updates and photos. Indi had lots of fun with her, her grandson, and the other pups. Thanks, Sandy!”

“Jennifer and Eric and their two sons were amazing with my nine month old pup! I was so grateful to have a safe loving home for my dog to be at while I was out of town. Thank you again so much for treating her like your own!”

“Dominique and her husband took such amazing care of my older dog reactive dog! She has great communication and photo updates and went above and beyond to make sure my dog was happy and taken care of. I will definitely be using them again in the future!”
“This is Daisy's fourth or fifth stay with Paul and Arnel - every time she is spoiled & treated as one of their own! It is such a comfort to know how loved on she is when she visits them.”

“Riya's stay with Lexi was a huge success. In fact, I think she has been a little sad since coming home from Lexi's house. She had so much fun running around with Huck and Finn and getting lots of love from Lexi and her sister. We will definitely use Lexi again!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Clackamas
Jean was phenomenal! ❤️ I finally took a little time for myself and went out of town, and she gave me such peace of mind by sending updates and pictures of my very loved dog Luna. My Luna isn’t used to being without me and definitely gave Jean a little hassle 😂, but Jean was so patient, caring, and wonderful with her. I truly can’t say enough great things about Jean❤️❤️I would absolutely trust her with any of my fur babies again! 🐾❤️.

This was my first experience using a home boarding option for my two corgis but I'm so glad we found Hannah. She is a real "Pro" with her helpful instructions before the dogs were dropped off, her answering all our questions and by providing pictures of our dogs daily. It was clear that our dogs were well cared for and happy to be with Hannah. I would highly recommend her.

Chopper loved Camp Cathy. Was so nice for him to have a yard to play in and do some sun bathing. Cathy sent daily pictures, which made me smile while I was missing Chopper. Cathy took him on walks and he seemed wiped out when I picked him up. Cathy is a very nice lady and I would recommend her

I can’t recommend them enough! They took amazing care of Jetson and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates and photos, which meant so much to me. They were also incredibly flexible when my plans changed and went out of their way to accommodate Jetson, which I truly appreciated. He came home happy, well cared for, and clearly loved. I would absolutely trust them with Jetson again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate pet sitters.

Casey did a wonderful job taking care of Percy. It was his first time staying with a sitter and Casey was great at helping him adjust and was patient as Percy settled in. We received multiple daily updates and pictures and were always assured Percy was receiving the best care.

Mara was so great to coordinate with and it’s so clear that she is great with dogs! Our boy is a big goofball who gets a little overwhelmed sometimes, but after just one meet and greet, we knew it would be a great fit for him to stay with Mara while we went out of town. He clearly loved his time there and we enjoy the tired and happy boy!!

We are a returning customer of Erika’s. This time around our Ruby stayed for 2 whole weeks. Erika was great with communication and provided me regular updates. We really appreciated Erika being available for our entire trip! We will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you again Erika!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
