Hello! My name is Jaimo, but I used to go by Jennifer, and I have been professionally involved in animal care for over 10 years varying from working at an animal shelter in Costa Rica, to being a dog walker in New York City, to professional pet sitting in Scottsdale, and working as an Animal Enrichment Specialist at the Arizona Humane Society! When I moved to Portland I took on a new role in animal welfare providing counseling on in-home euthanasia services. While working for the Arizona Humane Society I was lucky enough to spend my work days focusing on creating an enriching and exciting environment for pets staying at our shelter. My career in animal welfare requires me to stay up-to-date on the latest research regarding animal safety, animal welfare, and animal behavior. I used to spend my days working with the most high-need animals in our shelter ensuring that they received all the extra love and care they deserve! As your pet sitter, I will bring not only my professional expertise but also my personal passion and dedication to providing your pets the best possible care.

Jaimo is one of the best pet sitters that we have ever had! She is incredibly responsive and provides lots of updates with very cute pictures. Our dog adores her and all the attention (and fetch) Jaimo provides! I leave a lot of instructions and Jaimo follows every one of them. I never have to worry when she's taking care of our house, and more importantly, our sweet, energetic and spoiled pup. We get to come home to a very clean house with a happy, tired dog to greet us! I can't recommend Jaimo enough!

My dogs had the best time at Jaimo’s place! There’s a large, fully fenced yard with plenty of space to romp about, access to both indoors and outdoors throughout the day, and plenty of photos sent my way over the 4 days I was out of town for work. I have a 7 month old golden retriever and a 7 year old goldendoodle, both of whom are fairly high energy, and Jaimo did a great job keeping them engaged and sending plenty of photos of all the fun that was had. Thanks again for everything, I highly recommend for other dogs!
Jaymo was amazing! She took such great care of my sweet girl. She was super responsive, sent cute pics and kept me informed of how Ava was doing. She also has the cutest cat and dog of her own which helped! Thank you, Jaymo!!
Jaimo did a wonderful job watching my 2 cats while I was gone for the long 4th of July weekend. She was very courteous, super quick to respond and kept me updated with pictures and notes about how they were doing. On the last day, when my travel plans had changed and I was to arrive earlier than planned, she was very understanding and accommodating.
Jennifer stayed with our 13yr old shepherd who takes a lot of medication and has several health issues. She kept us updated multiple times a day and was so conscientious about sticking to our dog’s regular schedule. She left our house in great condition and we will definitely hire her again!

Schedule
When caring for pet, I center my schedule around their needs. I work remotely for Compassionate Pet Care. I will be working from home and am able to attend to your pet while working.

I always aim to give your pet the most love and care possible. I continue the routine your pet is accustomed too so that their transition while you are away is as seamless as possible. The pets in my care are always my top priority, and I approach each pet with a unique perspective that best fits their needs. I have a large fully fenced and secure backyard where pups can sunbathe or play fetch or just enjoy running around and exploring new smells!
