“Holly was so awesome with our two cats! This was my first time using Rover and she was absolutely the best. Our first scheduled sitter no-showed to our meet and greet, so I was in a bit of a pickle needing someone available around Christmas just a week in advance, and she came to our rescue. Super punctual, tactful, and on it - will definitely hire her again.”

“Kind and communicative. Felt comfortable with Mindy & Daniel right away (as did our cat)! Sent sweet photos and updates daily, and we knew our “Tiki” was in good, kind, and gentle hands.”

“Josh was so great. He was super nice and took wonderful care of our pup! Also super communicative snd sent lots of pics. Will definitely have Josh watch Coco again!”

“Makenzie was great! She was eager to help and very responsive via the chat. I booked her several weeks before I needed her to come help out and made the time to meet in person right away. She reached out to me a week before our scheduled visits to make sure everything was still good to go. She’s very organized and motivated. During her visits with my pups she was detailed with notes and sent tons of photos. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Mary was a great sitter for my cat, Livy. She was great with communication, very professional, & understands cats and their funny nuances. I can recommend Mary for cat parents looking for a sitter :)”

“Tiana is great, very responsive and good communication. It's such a relief to have a reliable sitter nearby who can feed and tend to our cats while we're away.”

“Checked in on my two cats while I was traveling. Serena found one cat stuck behind the washer and helped them out. Very attentive and quick to respond to the situation, I’m thankful Serena was the one who was there. Great care and communication, definitely recommend!”

“Shad is a responsible & kind dogsitter who takes time to make sure our dog is comfortable & gets some enrichment for the day while we are away. Highly recommend!”

“I get great communication from Jade! She sends cute pics and is super aware of my dog and the environment. She even noticed when there was some torn paper on the ground and made sure to tell me incase my dog ate it. Marli seems to adore Jade from what I can see on the dog camera.”

“This is the first time I have used Avery for the sitting of my two cats Ozzy and Luke. Avery came into my life at a time where I had Medical concerns that needed by full attention and to know that my boys were taken care of twice a day and with the utmost care meant everything to me. She even did little tasks around the house that kept my home running when I was not there to oversee it. In my mind she went above and beyond. You cannot go wrong with choosing Avery and she is very conscientious caring and responsible! I have ended up moving away and may not see much of her going forward but I think we will be staying close friends now and into the future! She's that kind of person! Thank you Avery!”

“We hired Jasper & Jaydon for house sitting as well as drop in visits for our pup and two cats. They were communicative, timely, respectful, and had quick response time. They sent photos and updates frequently, which brought great comfort to me. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable pet care. We hope to have them be our sitter for a long time coming!”

“Helena was great! She was very communicative and kept me up to date on my cats. She even went above and beyond and dropped in an extra time as well as bringing a package I received up to my apartment for me! Will definitely use her again the next time I need a sitter.”

About: Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a certified groomer, lifelong dog lover, and proud pup parent of a young golden retriever — working through service training. Over the years I’ve also cared for labs, Saint Bernards, and many other breeds. Why Book With Me? • Experienced with puppies, seniors, and special needs dogs • Certified groomer (bathing available upon request) • Daily updates + “report card” on behavior, appetite, and sleep • Lots of exercise and playtime (hiking, dog parks, fetch) I know how much dogs mean to their families, and I treat every pup as my own. Home weekends or will most likely be out exploring the PNW. I have a spacious home with a loving pup for your fur baby to have company. Allow our dog on the couch for cuddles and comfort.

“This was our first experience using Rover. Allison gave us daily updates, photos, brought in packages, fed and played with our kitties... it 100% added to our ability to relax and have a nice getaway knowing they safe at home and were being so well cared for. It was awesome coming home to happy cats. Wonderful first experience - and we look forward to booking with her in the near future. Highly recommend!”

“Mark took great care of our two boys in our home. It was our first attempt to leave them in somone elses care. Mark made me and the dog feel at ease. We will definitly use Mark again and reccomend him to friends.”

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Jessica. Taking care of a shy senior cat who needs daily medication is no easy task, but Jessica worked her magic and made Oscar feel completely safe. She was reliable, attentive, and ensured we didn't have a single worry while we were away. We will definitely be booking her again!

Claire was fantastic! She spent plenty of quality time with my cats, played with them during every visit, and made sure everything was left clean and in great condition. She was also very communicative and always sent lots of photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I could tell my cats were well cared for and happy. I would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring cat sitter!

Kathleen was wonderful with our three cats. As per usual with cats, each is a little peculiar. Kathleen adjusted to each cat easily. Clearly an animal person! Made amazing progress with our shyest scaredy-est cat. The social one was spunky and happy when we got home thanks to Kathleen giving her the play and attention that she needed while we were gone. And the feral one got fed so he was happy too.

Here's a polished version of your review: > Elaine took great care of our two cats! She was wonderful, and it gave us great peace of mind knowing they were so well cared for while we were away. We would absolutely book with her again. Or, if you'd like it a little warmer: Elaine took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away. She was kind, reliable, and gave us great peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!

John took care of everything we discussed perfectly. He was friendly and we're convinced our kitties were happier upon our return from our trip than other times. We appreciate his willingness to give the cats the love and care they needed while we were gone.

Melinda has a gift. Our dog is very shy and he took to her right away. She sent us a pic of her playing with our kitten. Melinda is a warm, gentle person and we felt very confident leaving our pets in her care. We will be having her sit for us frequently in the future.

Ashley is fantastic! I was away for 9 days and she took really great care of my 3 cats and kept the house clean. Perfect amount of communication and I appreciate that she understands the humor of each individual cat. Highly recommended and I will continue to have her watch them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Maywood Park. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
