I’m a Cat Whisperer! I foster cats, tame feral kittens, and have been known to win over even the grumpiest felines. Whether your cat is a professional napper, a serial zoomie enthusiast, or a dramatic diva who demands tribute, usually in treats, I’m here to keep them happy and purring while you’re away. I’m a true cat person — the kind who understands that every cat has their own comfort level, routine, and way of showing trust. Whether your cat is bold and social or quiet and cautious, I meet them exactly where they are. I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or sensitive cats. No forcing interactions, no rushing trust. Some cats want playtime and company, others just want someone reliable who respects their space — and both are equally cared for. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box upkeep, play sessions (when invited), and administering medications if needed. Most importantly, I pay attention to the little details: changes in behavior, mood, appetite, or energy. While you’re away, I’ll send thoughtful updates and photos so you know your cat is safe, relaxed, and understood. My goal is for your cat to feel secure in their own home — and for you to feel completely at ease leaving them there. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets cats, especially the quiet ones, I’d love to help. Please note: I'm often working until 4pm or so, and often reply to inquiries that come in the AM around then. Can't wait to chat!

This was our second trip trusting Rigby to Misty's care, and we will keep coming back! Rigby was healthy and happy to see us when we got home. Misty kept us posted on his food and water consumption so we knew he was well cared for while we were away. She even left him a little toy which he must have enjoyed, because we found it in another room! :D
Misty was an amazing cat sitter. She is especially accommodating—we had our regular sitter bail on us the day before we were set to leave the state for the holidays—and she answered our request to pet sit for a week, over the holidays of all times, within 30 minutes! She was very detailed in her communications about how our pets were doing each night, and she wasn’t afraid to ask a question if she had one regarding how to deal with anything our animals were doing that wasn’t specifically listed in the instructions, which I especially appreciated. She could have easily done the bare minimum with things—but she put in the effort to go the extra mile by doing things like staying with our cats for extended periods to make sure they were eating their dinner when she could have fed them, assumed they would eat correctly, and call it a day. Misty also made good decisions on her own if we didn’t answer a question she had while she was at our home for a drop-in. Our cats seemed to be very comfortable with her, they are very particular and don’t warm up to everyone; however Misty was able to get them to eat their dinner better than most past sitters (they tend to be reserved and get anxious when we’re gone, they don’t eat well with many past sitters—but this wasn’t a problem!)
This was our first time using River and Misty was amazing and very attentive to our girls!
Having Misty care for our cat Daphne made us feel completely at ease on our holiday trip. Daphne bonded with her quickly, and Misty was very alert to her needs and any changes in her needs or schedule. She even offered Daphne some new toys and experiences. She checked in every day with photos and videos. Coming home to a cat who was well taken care of and at ease was the best way to end the year.
Misty came on schedule and left our feral rescue boy with some treats and toys. He seemed well taken care of when we got home! Would recommend, even for skittish creatures!

Schedule
I work part time from home and volunteer with animal rescue in my free time. My drop in times for your kitties are within a window during the afternoon and evening, times can vary based on the most efficient route between all kitty clients.
