She took such great care of him. I appreciate and love how organized she is and her expectations that everything needs to be clean (dog, bedding, collars, etc) before coming. About: Besides my experience with my own pets I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society at 17. After that I went on to dog sit for various different families part time for around 3 years. I have a big window of availability currently. I’m going back to school in the fall, but until then I am just working part time. I work for my grandpa, so my schedule is super flexible! When I dog sit in the clients home I will follow your instructional list for feeding/walks/ activities/ grooming ect. I have car so I can take your pup to nearby parks/ dog parks if you would like, or just for a classic stroll around your neighborhood if you prefer. For clients that would prefer I take car if you dog in my home I have a fenced in back yard and live near several park so we can go on several adventures. Or just chill at home if you have a senior/ more low energy dog. My only deal breaker is that your dog isn’t reactive towards cats.

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!
