“Kayden was kind enough to help me out last minute when I had to travel. He was very polite and willing to help out with special the special needs of one of my dogs. I highly recommend Kayden.”
“Felicia did an incredible job caring for our two kitties. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly treated them with so much love. We appreciated her updates and the care she put into keeping their food, water, and space just right. Our girls were happy and well cared for when we got home, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We would absolutely book with her again.”

About: "As a dedicated and reliable pet caregiver, i will provide an experience tailored to your dog’s unique personality and needs. I understand that your dog is a beloved family member, which is why I prioritize maintaining their familiar routine—from specific feeding times and favorite walking routes to their preferred sleeping spots. Whether your pup is an energetic adventurer who needs plenty of playtime or a calm senior who appreciates gentle companionship and belly rubs, I offer attentive, one-on-one care in a safe and loving environment. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing I provide regular photo updates, clear communication, and the same level of affection I give my own pets. My goal is to ensure your dog stays happy, healthy, and tired out until your return!" As a part-time employed Mom and Grandma, I like to be busy and have time to spare for loving more than just my family and pets. At this moment, I have 3 dogs and two cats, all who need my personal attention several times a day. I would love to do that for you too. I know what it’s like to be stressed about your kitty or dog while away and I can help relieve that, even for just a day or a week.
About: I will describe myself as friendly, responsible and playful. My family and I grew up with dogs and to this day, they are my still my best friends! We treat every dog as our own. I’m doing Rover full time and spend most of my time at home. I would be free every day except when I’m out traveling. I love going on a nice walk daily. My husband and I live in a pet-friendly apartment. My home is a clean and healthy environment. I would love to walk your dog daily and spend as much time as needed with your pet.
About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs and cats, both as a pet owner and as a trusted sitter for family and friends. I’ve personally owned high-drive, strong-willed breeds, so I understand the patience, consistency, exercise, and structure they need to thrive. I’ve also had cats my entire life and truly understand their unique personalities and needs. What sets me apart is that I don’t just care for pets—I take the time to understand each animal individually and treat them like they’re my own. I’m currently working for Vancouver Public Schools so I will have plenty of time for walks at 3:00pm or later, or house sitting! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. When caring for your pets in their home, I make sure they stay in a familiar, comfortable environment while maintaining their normal routines as much as possible. I’m respectful of your home, attentive to your pet’s needs, and committed to providing reliable, loving care so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

“Bond is never happy to have his regular staff away, but he seemed happy when we got home so Emily apparently was a good substitute! Emily had good communication and sent photos daily.”

About: If you are looking for a pet sitter who genuinely loves animals and provides a safe, active environment, you are in the right place! I have years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals—from dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes to chickens and other small critters. Animals are a natural part of my life, and I know exactly how to tailor my care to fit your pup's unique personality, whether they are high-energy zoomers or low-key cuddlers. To give you extra peace of mind: I spent years being trusted by families as a nanny for three different households. You can rest assured that your beloved furry family member is in incredibly capable, highly responsible hands. The best part? A fenced yard! We have a spacious, securely fenced yard with plenty of room to run. Whether your dog wants to burn off energy playing fetch or prefers to leisurely sniff around and lounge in the fresh air, they will absolutely love the outdoor space we have to offer. Working from home gives me total flexibility to adapt to your dog's established routine. I am here throughout the day to provide constant supervision, mid-day desk cuddles, and frequent potty breaks in the yard. Your pup will enjoy a highly attentive, stress-free day that perfectly balances companionable downtime with plenty of active outdoor play. I believe trust is built through absolute transparency and a controlled environment, which is why I only host two or three compatible dogs at a time. Our home is a calm, secure haven, free from the chaos of large kennels, where your dog's unique safety needs are closely monitored. To keep you connected, I provide consistent, detailed updates and photos so you always know they are safe, happy, and thriving.
“Autumn was so amazing with our boys! We were nervous about finding someone to watch our two boys over the holidays since they are a bit roudy, and we could not have been happier with how Autumn took care of them like they were her own. She was punctual, responsive, and sent updates regularly. I kid you not our boys were depressed when we got home because they loved Autumn so much haha! Will absolutely be using her for services again!”

I’m currently not working, so I have all the time to take care of your pet. No schedule conflicts, so you don’t have to worry :) I have a small place, without much to do outside. “Sadie was so helpful making daily drop-ins on our cat, while we were away. She was gracious in having to clean up quite a few messes he made, she made sure his food, water, and litter box were kept fresh, and she spent some time with him each day to keep him from getting too lonely. She was very easy to communicate with during our trip. Thank you, Sadie for taking such good care of our kitty!”

Absolute angel. Ananda is super attentive and sweet with my kitty girls, even the spicy one and was flexible with my travel plans and very communicative during each visit. Plus she sent me pictures of my sweet baby floofs when I was missing them. Absolutely recommend and will be using her again.

This is the second time we have used Mandi and I would use her again in a heartbeat. She is incredibly reliable and took amazing care of our cat. Additionally our cat needed pill medication twice a day and she was amazing with making sure our cat got his meds. Can’t recommend Mandi enough!!

Cassie was recommended to me by a friend! She was so great with my senior cat who needs daily meds. Cassie had excellent communication, gave great updates, and overall put me at so much ease knowing Kitty was so well taken care of. I will definitely be using her again!

- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
