About: Aside from my professional history as a wildlife biologist and former Oregon Zoo keeper I am a life long lover of dogs, cats, and all animals. I am experienced in all aspects of animal welfare from puppy training to administering senior dog medication and clipping cat nails. I'm in shape to handle any sized dog in the event of aggressive leash pulling or needing to lift a dog in case of emergency. I bring professional animal handing experience and an innate understanding and empathy towards animals. Recently furloughed Government wildlife biologist, I am currently available 24/7 if needed. I have my own animals at home I need to care for but between my wife and myself I have a flexible schedule and should be available whenever you need me. I'm experienced with all level of dog, cat, reptile, etc. care at all ages, including training. I can do multiple feeding a day, administer medication, walk, play, crate train, etc. I have an enclosed backyard in a quiet neighborhood that is safe for dogs of all sizes.

About: I’ve had my own personal pets all my life and believe pets are family and treat them as such. I have also take care of friends, and family pets as well. Just did house sitting with 2 Australian cattle dogs, 2 cats and 6 chickens. Currently, I do not have any pets of my own as I lost my 2 Boston terriers last year. I love animals and anyone who knows me knows me, knows this about me. I work from home full-time and I can work from anywhere that has internet. About: I will describe myself as friendly, responsible and playful. My family and I grew up with dogs and to this day, they are my still my best friends! We treat every dog as our own. About: I’ve been fostering and caring for dogs since I was in high school - Cats even longer, since I grew up with cats my whole life. I got a job as a dog bather in 2017 and then became an apprentice Dog Groomer in 2021! I work 6 hours a day on average for the city of Vancouver, so my schedule is pretty flexible! About: I have availability 24/7 to care! Even as a kid, I’m the one who spent the most time with our pets! Will follow your example instructions just how you want! I’m currently not working, so I have all the time to take care of your pet. No schedule conflicts, so you don’t have to worry :) I have a small place, without much to do outside. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
