About: Aside from my professional history as a wildlife biologist and former Oregon Zoo keeper I am a life long lover of dogs, cats, and all animals. I am experienced in all aspects of animal welfare from puppy training to administering senior dog medication and clipping cat nails. I'm in shape to handle any sized dog in the event of aggressive leash pulling or needing to lift a dog in case of emergency. I bring professional animal handing experience and an innate understanding and empathy towards animals. Recently furloughed Government wildlife biologist, I am currently available 24/7 if needed. I have my own animals at home I need to care for but between my wife and myself I have a flexible schedule and should be available whenever you need me. I'm experienced with all level of dog, cat, reptile, etc. care at all ages, including training. I can do multiple feeding a day, administer medication, walk, play, crate train, etc. I have an enclosed backyard in a quiet neighborhood that is safe for dogs of all sizes.

About: With over 15 years of hands-on dog care experience, We’ve fostered more than 20 dogs since 2020 and spent 3 years volunteering at a dog rescue, focusing on training, exercise, and support for both reactive and rescue dogs. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16 years old. I adopted my most recent rescue about five years ago. I take her on multiple long walks every day! I also have experience with senior dogs and disabled dogs. I currently work part time and make my own schedule, so I can work around your needs. I am available for multiple check-ins a day, and will walk whatever route needed. I have a fully fenced backyard and live right next to a park with walking trails. I have a dog who loves playing with other dogs, but can be separated if needed.

About: I have availability 24/7 to care! Even as a kid, I’m the one who spent the most time with our pets! Will follow your example instructions just how you want! I’m currently not working, so I have all the time to take care of your pet. No schedule conflicts, so you don’t have to worry :) I have a small place, without much to do outside. But there’s a park less than 3 minutes away for walks. There are stairs to my place as I live on the second floor

About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me. Every animal is different and I love to make space for them and learn about what they like, dislike, need, as well as their quirks and personalities. Connection and trust is very important to me.
