I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. About: Aside from my professional experience as a wildlife biologist and Oregon zoo employee I'm a life long lover of cats. Growing up with them has taught me the patience sometimes needed to truly understand and bond with them. About: I've had a lot of experiences taking care of dogs and cats the maximum number I've taken care of is 3 dogs and 2 cats at one time! I enjoy going for walks and hikes and sometimes runs. I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. Im used to walking my chocolate lab and German Shepard, pitbull mix together. My German Shepard mix has a lot of anxiety and we have been working with a dog trainer and a behavioralist to work with his reactivity as well as his anxiety. I’m very comfortable with dogs with reactivity and anxiety as well as dogs that are big jumpers. I’ve dog sat for dogs such as chihuahuas, labs, border collies, beagles, pugs, springer spaniels, German Shepard’s and mutts. I have a lot of patience for dogs that are shy and take some time to warm up. I have experience using prong collars, gentle leads, and harnesses. I also have worked with many puppies in training and would be happy to implement any training methods you are using. I also love cats and have a lot of experience with shy and timid cats as well. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I’m currently working from home with a very flexible schedule and have plenty of times available for walks and drop in visits. I have 3 pets of my own though and can’t stay overnight or do boarding at my house. If your dog enjoys playing with other dogs I’m happy to bring my lab over she is great with other dogs. I am happy to accommodate any routine your pet may have to make them more comfortable on walks and drop in visits. I’m very used to shy dogs and cats that may need a little more space as well as super energetic ones.

I live in pet friendly Tiny home with a friendly yard to roam and play. My own dog loves to cuddle on my couch whenever and can certainly share the space with another dog. I do have a cooling mat and a separate pillow for my dog, so there is no shortage of comfy spaces. I love to cuddle with the pups when I can if that's their thing and giving them lots of attention while I care for them.

“My dog Judy had a blast boarding with Chris, Bear and Cosmo. The accommodations were super dog friendly, with dog gates, doors, and especially the huge yard setup where the dogs had tons of space to run, play, and burn off energy. Judy got plenty of exercise and there was more than enough room for larger dogs to be comfortable too. Chris also took them to the great dog parks nearby, and Judy had a great time exploring there as well. It was also nice that all the dogs got along, which made everything feel easy and comfortable. “Barry is wonderful! Like many pet owners, we were so nervous leaving our almost 14 year old Callie behind for a few days. However, within our first meet and greet with Barry and Shaka we were comfortable, knowing Callie would be in good hands. Barry sent daily updates and pictures everyday. Allowing us to be more at ease on our trip. Communication was great as he was quick to respond and was very flexible with our drop off time, when we were running behind. Barry has experience with senior dogs, he was kind and understanding with all of Callie’s feeding and meds instructions. We could tell, Callie really enjoyed all the smells in the garden and the calm setting. We can’t say enough, other than we are so glad we found Barry and we would highly recommend him.”
