About: Hi, I’m Sheila, a lifelong animal lover with a calm, nurturing presence and years of hands-on experience across species, ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up on a small poultry farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and feathered friends, and I’ve continued that care into adulthood. I’ve raised and loved a variety of animals, including dogs, and cats of my own and through pet sitting for friends and with TrustedHousesitters, I’ve also supported families with senior pets, rescue animals, and those with medical or behavioral needs. In your home, I follow the routine you’ve already established, so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. That means keeping consistent meal times, walking routes, play activities, or quiet company, whatever your pet is used to. I’m comfortable with administering medications, supporting anxious or shy animals with patience, and giving extra attention to senior pets. My goal is always to maintain stability, reduce stress, and provide genuine companionship so you come home to a happy, cared-for pet.

About: I have been pet sitting for 3 years and have loved animals all my life, I foster dogs from time to time and I am going to school to become a Veterinarian. I love hanging out and watching TV, as well as taking long strolls on the beach and out in the sun. I can teach your dog sign language which is pretty cool. What sets me apart from other dog walkers is that I’m fully committed to making sure that your dog’s needs are fully taken care and that if you have me house sit that not only is your dog taken care of, but that you also have a clean and tidy home to come to after a long day at work :)

“Lauren was such a treat! I went out of town to Seattle for the weekend, and she was able to take my little Teuta on walks and make sure she had water and food and was incredibly amazing! I was nervous because it was our first time leaving her in my home while being away (as opposed to daycare or boarding) and I was able to relax with Lauren, 100%. Plus, my little Uta is an energetic yet timid 2 year old dog with massive FOMO, but Lauren’s attentiveness and energy was exactly what she needed on our first weekend away. Not only did Lauren check in with the photos and comments, I could tell from the messages that she was really active and engaged with my dog. It wasn’t just the typical dog walk, they were best friends and I can’t believe how happy my dog was for someone new. Lauren is an eleven out of ten and would highly recommend her for anything!”

About: I have had pets my entire life, both dogs and cats, plus a few reptiles and fish along the way. I tend to be the ‘go-to’ friend who cares for pets when they go out of town. I have a gentle demeanor and try to meet your pet with whatever they need to feel safe and happy in the absence of their family. Finding comfort in knowing your pet is safe and cared for can be challenging and I would love to help ease some of that stress. I am a massage therapist with short and sweet work days, typically only gone for a few hrs at a time. With all this free time I would love to help care for your babes while you’re away. I currently have one dog, a mini Aussie, who loves being around dogs and could use a bestie to burn some energy with! We spend lots of time at dog parks, walks in the neighborhood, and snugs on the couch after a long day of running off the zoomies! I have a fenced backyard and plenty of toys to share! Our neighborhood is walking friendly, butted up to Burnt Bridge Creek for a more relaxed walk if cars/people create some anxiety. I drive a Tacoma with a converted backseat made just for safe dog rides! Let’s roll down the windows and cruise!

I love all animals, providing for their needs, and giving them the love and attention they deserve. When I take care of them, I provide lots of photos and details of what went on during the visit to keep you updated. Your pets are safe with me! My schedule is currently very open, so I have plenty of room in my schedule to care for your fur baby and provide for their needs. If needed, I can crate your dog or keep them in a pen, whichever situation you have. I’m meticulous about making sure that there is nothing around that could harm your pet and I keep a vigilant eye.
