About: I truly adore being in the presence of animals. Time spent with my own and other people’s furry loved ones over the past 17 years have brought joy and have left me in great spirits. I bring lively energy to play favorite games, be silly, explore a local park or snuggle your dog. I have a calming presence and patience with elder and special needs pooches and make sure they are as comfortable and happy as they can be while they are with me. It is in my nature to pay attention to the details of food and medicine requests and to carefully look after them while we are out and about together. There are two parks for play in my NE Portland neighborhood! I work from home and my schedule is open. I take walks during the afternoon, so your animal will not be spending extensive periods of time by themselves or in a crate. I hope to meet you and your pooch soon. WALKS- I work from home and I am available in North Portland, NE Portland, Upper SE, St Johns and Hayden Island for walks and drop ins. IN YOUR HOME PET CARE- I have a wider care radius for in home pet sitting that includes Washington County, Multnomah County and Clackamas County. Some pet sitting available in Vancouver too. When caring for pets in your home, I'll focus on regular interaction, and sticking to their routines to establish trust and positive connections. I will prioritize their well-being with a relaxed and low-stress attitude, ensure regular playtime, stick to consistent feeding schedules, and be prepared for emergencies. I will keep communication open with you to maintain a comprehensive and holistic approach to pet care.

About: We are a joy-filled, loving family who would love to be your dog's next bestie! We love long walks on the beach (or just around our neighborhood ;)), we are experienced snuggle bugs who enjoy petting, and playing with dogs of all kinds. We will even throw in a lively bath. We would be honored to take on your puppy, senior dog, or any our pooch with any special needs. My husband and I both have flexible jobs and work remotely - so someone is always around :). Our teens, aged 12.5 and 17 are super excited to love and take on the challenges and joys of caring for dogs in our home. We live on 1/4 acre with a fenced in backyard, but can also accommodate walks in a safe neighborhood (straight to the nearby park!) and crates as needed.

About: I treat pets with utmost love and respect. With extensive experience in various settings, including shelters and various high-stress environments, I'm fluent in canine and feline body language. I can handle shy and fearful dogs and cats, rowdy/jumpy/mouthy dogs, and any animals that just need a little work on their manners. I can administer oral, topical, and injectable medications for dogs and cats. I will send regular photos! I prioritize a safe and enriching environment for your companions. My commitment extends to treating each pet as if they were my own, employing positive reinforcement training methods without any use of physical force. Drawing from extensive experience, I can care for both lively puppies and wise senior dogs. Whether it's the boundless energy of a pup or the gentle attention required by a senior companion, rest assured your furry friend will receive personalized care that caters to their unique needs. Being a devoted volunteer at the Humane Society, I actively contribute to the health and well-being of animals through clinic assistance, including vaccines, treatments, and surgery preparation and recovery. Previously, I've also volunteered as a dog and cat matchmaker, a dog walker, and a kitten and puppy foster parent. Furthermore, my experience extends to small animals, including rabbits, hamsters, hedgehogs, gerbils, reptiles, fish, and more. Your pet's well-being and happiness are my top priorities, and I look forward to forming a special bond with each furry friend in my care! I run a WFH business, ensuring open availability for your furry friends! I request at least 24 hours of notice prior to a booking. I can accommodate emergency bookings depending on the situation. I can follow any regular routine that your pet is used to; for example, frequent potty breaks, crating while away, set feeding times, and walks at their usual or an increased frequency. For the safety of your dog, I will not do dog park visits unless I regularly care for your dog and they demonstrate consistent recall with me.

17. Cassandra K.
About: I have prior experience walking via Wag! as well https://wag.me/p/CASSANDRA52638 I grew up with cats and then two Jack Russell Terriers. I now care for my own pupper, Ruby, a Boxer/Pit/Mastiff mix. Ruby is reactive so I have experience, but not as a professional trainer. If your pup is somewhat reactive, I’d prefer shorter walks to start. Cat or dog, I’d love to help you out and meet your fur baby! I am currently in school full-time so availability for check-in times will change. Currently, I am available for walks or a check in any day of the week except Monday and Wednesday before 11. I have experience pet sitting for friends/family and handle every pet and home with the utmost respect. I'm comfortable walking dogs that may need additional gear like jackets, boots, muzzles, or harnesses as well.
18. Marquis C.
“Marquis is one of my best friends. He helped take care of my 23 year old cat and currently has 2 dogs. Those two dogs might have won the lottery getting the most love and care a person can offer. Not only is he a loving owner he is a dependable and responsible man anyone can trust. With a steadfast work ethic and integrity I would trust him with my kid if I had any.”
