Hi, my name is Kira! I've been around pets for most of my life, being raised primarily around cats until my family welcomed our chihuahua-pug Rosa to the mix 6 years ago. I've frequently been responsible for pet sitting my friends and families' pets ranging from small cats to large dogs and feel confident in knowing what animals need to stay happy and comfortable while pet parents are away. I am unable to host animals at my house but I am happy to come to them! I have a flexible schedule that allows me for frequent check-ins and longer stays if necessary throughout the week. I pride myself on prioritizing the safety, comfortability and respect of your animals so that you don't have to stress about who is taking care of your precious pets when you aren't able to!

I'm currently not pet-sitting in my own home, but I'm more than happy to care for your pet wherever they feel most comfortable. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment by sticking closely to your pet’s usual routine. I’m attentive to their behavior, making sure they stay out of trouble, get plenty of affection, and have their needs met on schedule. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or extended care, I treat every pet like my own, with consistency, compassion, and care.

Kira was great! I’m pretty picky when it comes to who I will let in my home and care for my pet but she made it easy for me to go about my day knowing Pilot was happy and and well taken care of. I highly recommend her and I will definitely be rebooking with her for future walks and home stays when I’m on puppy free vacations.

This is currently my full job, so my schedule is flexible and open to care for pets that need someone home more frequently or for your peace of mind.
