“Kathryn was great with our 9 month old puppy! We needed someone last minute to walk Theo and she was very responsive and professional. She came over the night before to introduce herself and meet him. She took great care of him on his walk and even went above and beyond to clean up a small mess he made. Will definitely book again!”

“Megan has been great and responds very quickly, even with short notices. My dog returns home happy after every walk. She is communicative regarding pick up/drop off times and updated availability. Hand offs have been easy breezy - I will recommend Megan to anyone.”

“Claire was so kind and patient with my dog who was anxious and afraid when she came to walk him and we weren’t home. It was his first time having a dog Walker who wasn’t family, and in true pandemic puppy style, he didn’t want anything to do with her, even after she had come for a meet and greet. She eventually coaxed him outside and he was able to go to the bathroom and play some find the food games. Thanks again for your kindness and patience with him, Claire!”

“Ryan was great! He accommodated a same-day walk request, was very communicative, and provided a nice update with photos after the walk. Will definitely book with him again!”

About: Hi, I’m Sheila, a lifelong animal lover with a calm, nurturing presence and years of hands-on experience across species, ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up on a small poultry farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and feathered friends, and I’ve continued that care into adulthood. I’ve raised and loved a variety of animals, including dogs, and cats of my own and through pet sitting for friends and with TrustedHousesitters, I’ve also supported families with senior pets, rescue animals, and those with medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, and injected), adapting to animals with anxiety or mobility challenges, and tuning into what each pet uniquely needs, whether that's active play, a gentle routine, or quiet companionship. I attend grad school mostly online through UW, so your pet will get plenty of attention and presence. I look forward to connecting with you all. Spending time with animals is grounding, joyful, and meaningful for my life. If you’d like to connect or hear more about my past experience, I’d love to chat. I’m happy to share references and photos (or just swap pet stories!). Your animals are family. And I’ll treat them as such. Pet care naturally fits into my daily rhythm. I attend grad school mostly online through UW and have a flexible schedule, so I can easily adjust my day around walks, playtime, and cuddle breaks. Spending time with pets is grounding and joyful for me, not an add-on or chore. It gives me purpose and balance, so I welcome the routine of feeding, walks, medication (if needed), and companionship as part of my everyday flow. I meet each pet exactly where they are. In your home, I follow the routine you’ve already established, so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. That means keeping consistent meal times, walking routes, play activities, or quiet company, whatever your pet is used to. I’m comfortable with administering medications, supporting anxious or shy animals with patience, and giving extra attention to senior pets. My goal is always to maintain stability, reduce stress, and provide genuine companionship so you come home to a happy, cared-for pet.

About: Hi! I grew up with dogs and have always been comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I’m also a current cat owner of two, so I understand how important patience, routine, and individual attention are. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or cuddles, I treat every pet like my own and aim to provide safe, loving, and reliable care while you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine and give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. My flexible schedule means I can accommodate walks, feeding times, play breaks, and check-ins without feeling rushed. Your pet won’t just be “fit in”, they’ll be a natural and prioritized part of my day, receiving consistent care, supervision, and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up as needed, and make sure they get plenty of playtime, walks, or quiet companionship depending on their personality. I respect your home, keep things tidy, and provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
“Brooklyn is great with Maizie. When Maizie sees her, she gets so excited to go on a walk. It's so helpful to have someone who can commit and help my girl get the activity she needs when I'm working. I love the updates on Maizie's feelings that are part of the walk.”

“YAY! So grateful I found Elaine. I twisted my ankle and she was there helping me every day for 7 days so that I could rest. Her energy, kindness, flexibility, communication, and love of animals is so evident. I would let Elaine take care of all of my animals at any moment. I will absolutely have her walk Ginger again. And also boarding!”

“Thank you Chelsea for being so great and loving with my weens. They already love walking with you. What a savage you are juggling three dogs while simultaneously pushing through a torrential downpour of rain. You are amazing!”

About: From electric trike jogs, frozen treats, to more than ten scents to give mental stimulation or the basics of tracking, your dog will have a variety of enrichment opportunities devised by a service dog owner-trainer and former police horse caretaker! (Let me know your dogs' allergies and feeding preferences.) While finishing my B.S. in Criminal Justice at UCF, I cared for up to 8 police horses alone in strict rotation schedules. I prepared to work in a K-9 unit, observing bomb detection training from FLETC Lackland, TX. Military life has taken my husband and I all over. I have experience handling females in heat, injecting medication, giving pills, and grooming double coated curly breeds such as Bichons or poodles. I would be happy to help desensitize your dog to nail trims, or one basic etiquette task per visit on request at no charge. I am at home most of the week on virtual classes, animal research literature, and working on a video series to help owners train their own dogs to help around the house. Risk mitigation!!! I cannot stress enough how safety is the priority. I don't wait for a problem to start before I address the what ifs and warnings.
“Thank you We could tell Kendall received some great mid afternoon exercise. Appreciate you taking the time to meet with us beforehand so we could have consistency on leash training and the off leash are.”

About: As a pet sitter, I provide attentive and individualized care tailored to each pet's temperament and needs. My background includes experience with senior cats, administering oral medications (but can learn injections), and supporting anxious pets through calm, structured visits. I prioritize a clean, safe, and peaceful environment, ensuring your pet feels secure and well-cared-for while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind—and your pet the comfort of familiar, consistent care. I also love taking pet portraits too! See my pets pics! I can offer flexible pet care scheduling and dedicated attention to each pet I visit. My days revolve around providing consistent, quality care—ensuring your pet’s needs and routines are always my top priority. Will find a solution if I have multiple pet visits or clients in a day.
“Sydney is terrific: always on time, communicative, and otherwise professional. She handled our pup with care, and he always looked forward to his walks with her. He invariably came back with tail wagging. Couldn't recommend her enough.”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I've grown up with dogs, cats, and even some more exotic pets, so being around animals feels completely natural to me. For nearly two years, I’ve worked with Wag!, where I’ve maintained a 5-star rating thanks to my reliability, communication, and genuine care for every pet I meet. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just keeping your pet company while you're away, I always treat them like part of my own family. I’m currently going to school part-time online, which means my schedule is pretty flexible! I can easily take remote sitting jobs overnight and am usually available to jump in at a moment's notice for any service! I am extremely flexible and understanding! I’m patient, compassionate, and a total softie when it comes to animals. Whether your pet is a social butterfly or more of a “don’t-touch-me, feed-me” type, I take the time to earn their trust—no rush, no pressure. I believe in letting pets warm up at their own pace (yes, even if that means sitting on the floor for 20 minutes making slow-blink eye contact with your cat).
About: I have been pet sitting for 3 years and have loved animals all my life, I foster dogs from time to time and I am going to school to become a Veterinarian. I love hanging out and watching TV, as well as taking long strolls on the beach and out in the sun. I can teach your dog sign language which is pretty cool. What sets me apart from other dog walkers is that I’m fully committed to making sure that your dog’s needs are fully taken care and that if you have me house sit that not only is your dog taken care of, but that you also have a clean and tidy home to come to after a long day at work :)
About: I have had pets my entire life, both dogs and cats, plus a few reptiles and fish along the way. I tend to be the ‘go-to’ friend who cares for pets when they go out of town. I have a gentle demeanor and try to meet your pet with whatever they need to feel safe and happy in the absence of their family. Finding comfort in knowing your pet is safe and cared for can be challenging and I would love to help ease some of that stress. I am a massage therapist with short and sweet work days, typically only gone for a few hrs at a time. With all this free time I would love to help care for your babes while you’re away. I currently have one dog, a mini Aussie, who loves being around dogs and could use a bestie to burn some energy with! We spend lots of time at dog parks, walks in the neighborhood, and snugs on the couch after a long day of running off the zoomies! I have a fenced backyard and plenty of toys to share! Our neighborhood is walking friendly, butted up to Burnt Bridge Creek for a more relaxed walk if cars/people create some anxiety. I drive a Tacoma with a converted backseat made just for safe dog rides! Let’s roll down the windows and cruise!
Hamey Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Thank you so much Shaelyn! Jasper is always happy after he walks with you, and he's always eager and ready when you get here! Shaelyn is attentive to Jasper, and communicates well with us! We love that we can count on you! I would recommend Shaelyn to anyone who has pets!

My dog Jasper really needed a friend for when his parents aren't around and Megan is a wonderful caring dog walker! She's is easy to book with, communicative and interested in everything Jasper! Jasper is so happy to see her and doesn't hesitate to spend time with her. Thank you Megan!

Kira was great! I’m pretty picky when it comes to who I will let in my home and care for my pet but she made it easy for me to go about my day knowing Pilot was happy and and well taken care of. I highly recommend her and I will definitely be rebooking with her for future walks and home stays when I’m on puppy free vacations.

When we first met Frances, we weren’t sure how our reactive Chihuahua, Benny, would do — but her calm, patient approach won him over almost instantly. She took the time to understand his triggers, worked with him gently, and now he greets her with a happy tail wag. Frances also accompanies our senior family member on walks with our other dog, Bucket, making sure both dogs (and human!) are safe, comfortable, and enjoying their time outside. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals have made her an absolute treasure to our family. ---
