About: Hi, I’m Sheila, a lifelong animal lover with a calm, nurturing presence and years of hands-on experience across species, ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up on a small poultry farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and feathered friends, and I’ve continued that care into adulthood. About: From electric trike jogs, frozen treats, to more than ten scents to give mental stimulation or the basics of tracking, your dog will have a variety of enrichment opportunities devised by a service dog owner-trainer and former police horse caretaker! (Let me know your dogs' allergies and feeding preferences.) While finishing my B.S. in Criminal Justice at UCF, I cared for up to 8 police horses alone in strict rotation schedules. I prepared to work in a K-9 unit, observing bomb detection training from FLETC Lackland, TX. Military life has taken my husband and I all over. I have experience handling females in heat, injecting medication, giving pills, and grooming double coated curly breeds such as Bichons or poodles. I would be happy to help desensitize your dog to nail trims, or one basic etiquette task per visit on request at no charge. I am at home most of the week on virtual classes, animal research literature, and working on a video series to help owners train their own dogs to help around the house. Risk mitigation!!! I cannot stress enough how safety is the priority. I don't wait for a problem to start before I address the what ifs and warnings.

About: I have been pet sitting for 3 years and have loved animals all my life, I foster dogs from time to time and I am going to school to become a Veterinarian. I love hanging out and watching TV, as well as taking long strolls on the beach and out in the sun. I can teach your dog sign language which is pretty cool. Our neighborhood is walking friendly, butted up to Burnt Bridge Creek for a more relaxed walk if cars/people create some anxiety. I drive a Tacoma with a converted backseat made just for safe dog rides! Let’s roll down the windows and cruise!
