Safety, trust & environment
Your home is not my home, so when I am in yours I am always respectful and do my best to maintain standards to your specifications. I am also happy to bring in mail, packages, or do other tasks that may arise during my visits or your time away from home.
Information Claire B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any behavioral challenges that your pet has such as reactivity, fears, or training goals that you are working on. I am happy to continue reinforcing or build new, good habits while we are out and about, or in your home. Knowing their quirks will help me be prepared to give them a fun and engaging, or relaxing visit. I am not comfortable using chain, prong, or electric collars. If your dog currently uses one of these, please let me know and I can bring a harness or another aid for our walk. If your pet has specific dietary or medical needs please let me know. I carry high value treats like chicken or beef jerky (for dogs), cheese and peanut butter. All are given in very strict moderation. If you prefer a different treat, please let me know.
A typical day
If your dog needs more than just a walk, I'd be happy to toss a ball, kick some toys around the yard or supervise your choice of enrichment. Every dog is different, and I will work with you to give them what they need.

Pets
Sassy or shy - I love them all!
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and many other pets, and have been a volunteer dog walker and foster parent at a local shelter since 2017. I also spent many years riding horses and working in show barns. I have two dogs of my own, a foster dog or two, and a number of chickens. Caring for animals is something I have always done, and still can't get enough of.
Reviews

Claire was amazing! I felt like it didn’t have to worry about my babies and I could enjoy my vacation!

Claire has a great personality and demeanor, showed up on time and clearly has great experience with all kinds of dogs and situations. Very glad to have found her!

The best cat caregiver ever! She kept in contact the entire time, sent photos and videos and seriously bonded with my elusive kitties. Book her if you can

Highly recommend! Claire is phenomenal.
