About: No matter the personality of your fur baby, rambunctious, shy, nervous or high maintenance they will get the care, activity, and attention that fits their needs. I've been around all kinds of dogs most of my life and doggie and house sat through high school and college to support myself. I believe that our four-legged family members are to be seen, heard and treasured and very much understand the part they play in our lives, because of this I also understand the responsibility I have to the safety and well being of your loved one and look forward to getting to know that sweet face that brings you so much joy! I have a huge fenced yard and if your sweetie likes the company of other dogs I love field trips to the dog park!
“My dog instantly connected with Mari and gets so excited when she comes over for weekly walks. Mari is personable and communicates well. She always tracks and takes at least one photo while out and about. I would recommend her 100%.”

“Thank you Chelsea for being so great and loving with my weens. They already love walking with you. What a savage you are juggling three dogs while simultaneously pushing through a torrential downpour of rain. You are amazing!”

About: I’ve owed cats my whole life and have had my first dog for 11 years now and she is the apple of my eye. I have helped take care of many friends and family’s pets since I was little. I have experience with dogs and cats as well as experience with reptiles and amphibians, so I have no problem handles live worms and crickets for feedings! Also to note I have worked at petsmart grooming salon as well as a dog and cat daycare/boarding facility. I look forward to meeting all your wonderful pets! I’m currently a stay at home mom with my kids in school trying to fill my hrs to help others with their fur babies when needed. I will make sure I understand the instructions set for me to the fullest extent. The animals will have their needs and wants met and being safe with me. I have reliable transportation. I do have a fenced in yard if that is ever needed in the future.
“Katie did a great job walking and wearing Hank out so he was a very tired boy the rest of the day. She was prompt and very friendly. Looking forward to more walks!”
“Cassie, is amazing! Our dog gets soooo excited to see her when she comes. She has been so flexible and adaptive to our dogs needs. I know she is in good hands when we are away!!!”

About: **Last minute bookings considered -message me for details** As a pet sitter, I provide attentive and individualized care tailored to each pet's temperament and needs. My background includes experience with senior cats, administering oral medications (but can learn injections or iv), and supporting anxious pets through calm, structured visits. NOTE: 10% of all earnings will be donated to a non-profit to assist humans, pets, and/or animal shelters! 😊 I prioritize a clean, safe, and peaceful environment, ensuring your pet feels secure and well-cared-for while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind—and your pet the comfort of familiar, consistent care. I also love taking pet portraits too! See all my pet pics! I can offer flexible pet care scheduling and dedicated attention to each pet I visit. My days revolve around providing consistent, quality care—ensuring your pet’s needs and routines are always my top priority. Will find a solution if I have multiple pet visits or clients in a day. I like to know your pet’s personality, daily routine, and comfort level with new people. It helps to know if they’re shy or social, any quirks or favorite hiding spots, and what kind of play or affection they enjoy. Please also share details about feeding times, potty habits, and any health or medication needs—so I can keep things consistent and stress-free for them. Or any other information you feel is necessary. For safety, I require that I can independently leash and handle your dog. During the meet and greet, I may ask to interact with your dog briefly without you present to ensure they’re comfortable with me. If a dog is unable to be safely handled during the stay, the booking may need to be adjusted or ended early. If your dog has aggressive or very anxious behavior with new sitters or their space, I suggest you book a few dog walks to establish trust.
“Zach and Janexis have been great. Frou is getting walked on a regular basis and is much happier. Great communication and they show up for every walk and have been flexible with the schedule. I greatly appreciate having people that I can trust with my dog and with my house. Highly recommend!”
“Marissa went above and beyond for my pup and my roommate's furbabies. Great communicator and extremely compassionate. Highly recommend and we will definitely be requesting marissa again!”

About: I’ve had pets since the age of five, and have loved taking care of animals since! I’ve helped take care of plenty of dogs, big and small. I’ve owned Alaskan Malamutes, Labradors, Dobermans, etc and loved to walk them all. I’m good at getting pets to take their medicine and love to give seniors the extra care and attention they deserve. I’ve had several dogs since they were puppies and have potty trained them and taught them neat tricks too! I’m familiar with dog puzzles and other mentally stimulating toys (gotta keep those brains busy!) I’m also comfortable with reactive dogs-I owned an 85lb reactive dog and took him safely on walks and hikes with me. The safety/comfort of the dog and any other people/animals is of the utmost importance. I promise to take care of your baby like they’re my baby. I work until about 2pm but have plenty of time in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends to help take care of or walk your pet! Currently I’m not available to take pets into my home. I have a senior kitty who I am still getting to know and my main goal is to keep her comfortable and safe until I learn how she is around other animals.

“Mika has walked my dogs twice now and it has gone very smoothly and well both times. She's a good communicator, did great with the instructions I left, and is very friendly. I highly recommend Mika and will continue to use her to care for my dogs.”

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, from dogs, cats and turtles all the way to horses, goats and chickens! I have had quite a few dogs throughout my life of different breeds and sizes. I regularly watch my family and friend’s pets, from a young spaniel puppy to a big senior Labrador who thinks he’s a puppy. I treat my senior friends with care and affection, wanting them to know nothing but happiness! I have also had a few puppies and understand the patience and care they require, especially when it comes to teaching them manners. I am currently unemployed so pet care will be my full time job! I am completely available everyday at all times to take care of and spend time with your furballs! I have two cats who run my home, they are leash trained and I regularly take them out to explore the backyard and play outside! They are very spoiled and I shower them with treats and toys when I can. When I watch others pets I want to know exactly how they want me to care for their pet, not wanting the animal to have to stray too far off their regular routine, especially when it comes to puppies.
“Steele is fantastic! He takes amazing care of Nigel and is super knowledgeable and punctual. We love that he always keeps us in the loop, whether he's sharing a quick update about how the walk went or staying on top of scheduling. I’d trust him with Nigel any day!”

“Deanna is an incredible dog whisperer:) Lola absolutely loves spending time with her! I highly recommend 🙂 I’ve always appreciated Deanna’s sharp communication and photo updates. Book her today! :)”

About: Hi, I’m Sheila, a lifelong animal lover with a calm, nurturing presence and years of hands-on experience across species, ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up on a small poultry farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and feathered friends, and I’ve continued that care into adulthood. I’ve raised and loved a variety of animals, including dogs, and cats of my own and through pet sitting for friends and with TrustedHousesitters, I’ve also supported families with senior pets, rescue animals, and those with medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, and injected), adapting to animals with anxiety or mobility challenges, and tuning into what each pet uniquely needs, whether that's active play, a gentle routine, or quiet companionship. I attend grad school mostly online through UW, so your pet will get plenty of attention and presence. I look forward to connecting with you all. Spending time with animals is grounding, joyful, and meaningful for my life. If you’d like to connect or hear more about my past experience, I’d love to chat. I’m happy to share references and photos (or just swap pet stories!). Your animals are family. And I’ll treat them as such. Pet care naturally fits into my daily rhythm. I attend grad school mostly online through UW and have a flexible schedule, so I can easily adjust my day around walks, playtime, and cuddle breaks. Spending time with pets is grounding and joyful for me, not an add-on or chore. It gives me purpose and balance, so I welcome the routine of feeding, walks, medication (if needed), and companionship as part of my everyday flow. I meet each pet exactly where they are. In your home, I follow the routine you’ve already established, so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. That means keeping consistent meal times, walking routes, play activities, or quiet company, whatever your pet is used to. I’m comfortable with administering medications, supporting anxious or shy animals with patience, and giving extra attention to senior pets. My goal is always to maintain stability, reduce stress, and provide genuine companionship so you come home to a happy, cared-for pet.
About: I have taken care of elderly cats, sticking to a routine and administering saline treatment. I am energetic and fun for pets to be around. I'd love to take care of your pet while you're away and understand the importance of pictures and updates to know your best friend is safe and well cared for. I'm currently working full time as a sitter, dog walker and pet boarder. Focused on one pet boarding at a time. I only accept one pet/pet family at a time. I will take multiple pets but only from the same home. I have a fenced yard with space to run and play. I have one athletic and friendly dog, she is a 35 lb mixed breed who loves to chase balls, sticks and frisbees. She is friendly with other dogs, though cautious around large breeds, she warms up quickly. The backyard has easy access inside for all dogs, and water always available for pets.
Vancouver Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Elaine was available on pretty short notice and made time for a meet and greet before coming back to walk Finn. My dog is a little hesitant of strangers, but Elaine was very patient with him without pressuring him. She sent me updates and let me know how things went. I'm sure Finn will be excited to see her next time we need help!

Zach and Janexis have been great. Frou is getting walked on a regular basis and is much happier. Great communication and they show up for every walk and have been flexible with the schedule. I greatly appreciate having people that I can trust with my dog and with my house. Highly recommend!
