About: I have taken care of elderly cats, sticking to a routine and administering saline treatment. I am energetic and fun for pets to be around. I'd love to take care of your pet while you're away and understand the importance of pictures and updates to know your best friend is safe and well cared for. I'm currently working full time as a sitter, dog walker and pet boarder. Focused on one pet boarding at a time. I only accept one pet/pet family at a time. I will take multiple pets but only from the same home. I have a fenced yard with space to run and play. I have one athletic and friendly dog, she is a 35 lb mixed breed who loves to chase balls, sticks and frisbees. She is friendly with other dogs, though cautious around large breeds, she warms up quickly. The backyard has easy access inside for all dogs, and water always available for pets.

About: I have been a veterinary assistant for 4 years and have basic knowledge of training dogs from puppies to seniors. I understand how important it is for dogs to have mental stimulation and no dog is too big or small. I work full time, but have lots of weekend availability that I'd love to spend with your pet! I do volunteering on the weekend, but can definitely do work arounds to make sure your loved one is cared for. I understand how sacred fur babies are to us and putting trust in a stranger can be scary. Its very important to me for dogs wear collars when going outside, even if just the back yard. I love routines will follow your pets normal routine in their environment. I will respect your home and property, strictly following any instructions provided.

I am an artist and small business owner splitting time between north Portland and Vancouver. I have a very flexible schedule and looking after your furry friends is a way for me to supplement my growing business. I cant have your pets in my home, but I am more than happy to care for your fur babies at yours. I understand just how important your dog is to you, and I would treat them just as I treat mine. About: I've always loved animals and knew I wanted to work with them in some capacity. Since I was a kid I've been pet sitting for neighbors, or friends/family and then I started walking dogs in college to make extra money. Now, I have 4 years expirence working with dogs and cats and the occasional ferret and sugar glider as a Veterinary Technician. Your fur baby(babies) will be in safe hands with me and I will love and care for them as my own. About: I have cared for all sorts animals my whole life, from as small as a gerbil to as large as a llama. I have previous experience working in a boarding kennel and veterinary office. I have experience working with special needs animals and administrating medications. I work full time, 6-8 hour shifts 5-6 days a week. I am almost always done with work between 1 and 2 pm at the latest. I don't have consistent days off but can be flexible with availability. For pets who need extra care throughout the day (potty breaks every 4 hours, 3+ meals, etc.), I can typically work accommodations into my schedule for those in the 98664/98683/98684 area. I am well-versed in behavioral signs of animals and will make them feel safe and trusted while I am in their homes. My main goal is always to support your pets in whatever way they need.

About: I have dog sat multiple times for family friends, usually 3 dogs at a time, no problem. The owners always return to their dogs being happy and healthy. I am self employed now so I am very flexible and will be available pretty much all day to take care of your fur babies. About: I’ve had pets of all kinds including dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, birds, and invertebrates. I’ve also worked at a pet store for the last year and a half so I have some knowledge on freshwater fish as well as experience administering medications to animals. I’m currently only working part time, about 12-18 hours a week, so I have more than enough time to check on and play with your pets! I’m super flexible and want to do anything I can to make sure your pets are as comfortable and happy as they possibly can be while their humans aren’t home!

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was a teenager. I love animals so much, each is so unique! I have also done extensive dog training with my corgi for 3 years, she has anxiety and reactivity issues. So I’m well versed in those behaviors in animals! I am a pediatric nurse at Randalls in Portland. Rover is something I do on the side for fun because I enjoy it! I also just bought my first home so the extra income is very helpful. I am currently moving into my new home which is very spacious. I personally crate my dog at night, but let her roam inside during the day. I can follow whatever directions you need for your fur baby!

I’ve just returned to the Portland area after living in Boise for 5 years and am looking to take care of some furry friends! Currently available all weekdays and weekends. I am a very flexible and communicative person, so I can take on last-minute requests. Serving anywhere in the Portland or Vancouver area. PLEASE NOTE: if you are a dog owner who expects me to stay at home with your dogs all day (i.e., not leave the house for more than a few hours), I will be charging an additional $50/day ON TOP of the rates indicated in Rover. I have no way of indicating this charge in the app, so we will have to figure out payment outside the app. Currently not dog-sitting in my own home, but provide in-home/overnight care for your pet. I am very good at keeping a punctual feeding schedule, keeping the house clean, leaving doors locked at night, etc. Please communicate to me your expectations for your home and I will ensure they are met!

About: I’m no animal expert, but I've had pets all my life, and put a lot of heart & effort into taking care of someone's pet just like I would my own any day! I work 4 hours in the evening, Mon-Thurs every week, but other than that, I have a lot of free time to take care of a family’s pet, & make sure their needs are met! I don’t have my dog with me anymore because my family moved to Idaho, but I have a dog with my dad; a black lab, Captain Jack (but we call him Cap for short) who I absolutely adore, and took care of when we were living together. Lots of walks, playtime, belly rubs, booty scratches, love & kisses, grooming, necessary discipline, feeding, etc. I also had my cat, Maybelle, at my mother's who is still with her because she kind of became the family cat. But I took care of her as she was originally my cat. I have had dogs & cats growing up so definitely familiar with both! For other people's pets, your pets, your rules. Your house, your rules. Anything you need me to do for your pet, I can do. If I haven't done something before, I will happily learn from you & do as you tell me.
