Haaay! 🌾 *ba-dum tss* As you see being a stand up comedian wasn’t my calling so here I am 🥲 My name is way too long so I just go by Mari I’m a stay-at-home mom with lots of free time and even more love to give your fur babies! I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom! 😎 I currently live in Vancouver, Being home most of the day means I can give your pet plenty of attention, care, and one-on-one time. I’m available for walks and drop-ins on weekdays from 7am–4pm and Sundays from 7am–1pm, with flexibility whenever possible to help fit your schedule (I remember how hard it was finding help when I had my pups and ended up taking them to work with me) Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, a potty break, or extra cuddles, I’m always happy to help! We will spend much time out exploring, enjoying fresh air, getting in plenty of movement and mental stimulation. Walks, sniff breaks, and outdoor adventures are very important to me in order to keep a pup happy and healthy! I’d love to be your fur baby’s (and yours!) new friend and help make their day (also yours!😌) a little brighter!✨🐾🩷

I’m so excited to meet your fur baby! To make sure they have the best, happiest stay possible, I’d love to know a few things about them ahead of time. Please share: Their daily routine (meals, walks, potty breaks, naps) Any medical needs, allergies, injuries, or medications Favorite treats, toys, and activities Energy level and walking/play preferences How they do with other dogs, kids, and new situations Any quirks, fears, or habits I should know about (we all have them no shame in that🩷😉) Commands they know or training cues they respond to best. (All my pets are/were bilingual and I’m more than happy to teach your fur baby!) Anything that helps them feel calm, comfy, and loved while you’re away. The more details you share, the better I can tailor care just for your fur baby, and give you that peace of mind. I treat every fur baby like my own and can’t wait to get to know yours!✨ 💕✨
A typical day
I’m an early riser and start my days around 5 AM, usually making my husband’s lunch and getting my younger girls ready for school and on the bus (we still have 2 elementary-aged kiddos at home). Once the house settles, I spend my day attending my home, stitching, crafting all listening to true crime podcasts or some nerd movie (most likely Harry Potter 😬). I also enjoy cooking, baking. I love staying active in gentle, meaningful ways. Walks when the weather is nice, exploring new sights. While I don’t currently have dogs of my own anymore,my love for them hasn’t gone anywhere. I truly enjoy caring for other people’s pups or any animal! My goal is to make them feel engaged, safe, loved, and well-exercised🩷

Pet care experience
I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. I’m incredibly empathetic toward animals (I don’t even kill bugs!), so every pet in my care is treated with gentleness, patience, and genuine love. The dogs in my photos are my beloved old pups (Milo the Golden Retriever and Yoshi the Shih Tzu) Milo was 8wks when I got him and Yoshi was 5wks — I don’t currently have any dogs, but I do have two friendly cats at home. Lucy my tiny little black cat🖤 and Foggy my orange menace 🧡 (both rescues) I have hands-on experience caring for and training my own dogs over the years, from large breeds like Dobermans to small breeds like Shih Tzus. I’ve also had cats my entire life so growing up half my cats were kitties I found, some even needing bottle feeding. I'm comfortable with all things feline — from playful kittens to independent seniors. Beyond dogs and cats, I’ve cared for chickens, birds, and many other kinds of pets throughout my life. I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. With me, your pet won’t just be watched — they’ll be cared for like family. 💛

My dog instantly connected with Mari and gets so excited when she comes over for weekly walks. Mari is personable and communicates well. She always tracks and takes at least one photo while out and about. I would recommend her 100%.
