About: Aside from my professional history as a wildlife biologist and former Oregon Zoo keeper I am a life long lover of dogs, cats, and all animals. I am experienced in all aspects of animal welfare from puppy training to administering senior dog medication and clipping cat nails. I'm in shape to handle any sized dog in the event of aggressive leash pulling or needing to lift a dog in case of emergency. I bring professional animal handing experience and an innate understanding and empathy towards animals. Recently furloughed Government wildlife biologist, I am currently available 24/7 if needed. About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me.
